Nico's POV
Well here I am running full speed in my black and white jacket to some KaibaCorp building that's practically 2 miles away to get to the Duel Academy entrance exams by 3:15. Right now its 3:08. Before I get to anything else I should probably introduce myself; I'm Nico Callistan and I'm 16 years old well there it is. So as I was saying I'm trying to get to the Duel Academy entrance exams by 3:15 and as I'm running people are yelling at me calling me a freak and stuff I really shouldn't say.
"Hey!"I said before I crashed into this kid in some checkered shirt.
"What the-"he said as I crashed into him.
"Ouch, that kinda hurt," we said in unison as we quickly stood up. I brushed so dirt of my black trousers
"So sorry for uhh… Bumping into you.”
“No big.”
“So where are you goin’.”
“Somewhere”
“OK, Bye”
“Bye”
"We should get going"
"Yeah"

When I finally got to the building I didn't expect what I saw would be so... how would I say it large. How big let's just say the Empire State Building would probably be a few stories higher than the KaibaCorp building..
"Name," someone behind us said.
We turned around, and what we saw was a man in a suit that could probably beat up 10 gorillas at once.
"Name," he said again this time more irritated than last time.
"Nico Callistan" I said.
"Wait what!?" I said in a very irritated voice.
"I should be going in there"
"Well your name's not on the list"
"SCREW THE LIST!!!!!! I deserve to go in"
“Your name is NOT on the list.”
“Are you sure,” I said pilling 10 dollar bills on his clipboard.
“Maybe it is here,” he said looking at the crisp 10 dollar bills.
“You can go in,” he finally said.
So I went in and took a seat in huge dome shaped arena and took a set on the metal bleachers.

5 hours of pure agony waiting for my turn to duel Nico thought as the speaker kept calling names
"Cal Zephrys and Nico Callistan," the announcing system blared.
"Finally its my turn,"Nico said as he stood up from his seat.
Wait is that who I think it is Nico thought. As Nico got a closer look he saw a familiar boy in a checkered shirt.
Cal's POV
OK so I'm like in the arena and this teacher who looks like those magicians from Los Vegas is gonna duel me to decide what dorm I go in.
So I said in my most confident voice,
"Yo, Over here! I am like ready to duel"
"What,Oh Yeah. The test I'm Bryan and I'll be dueling you today and- Actually let's just go and duel I'm bored of this background explaination crap that all those formal teachers say."
"Sure."
"I'll go first cause I'm the teacher."
"Ok."
"I activate the spell card Foolish Burial."
"What does that do?"
"I'll show ya. When Foolish Burial is activated I choose 1 card in my deck and send it to my Graveyard and I choose Peten the Dark Clown!"
"Why would you send your own card to the Graveyard?"
"Just shut up and duel I'll show you why later," Bryan said in a very irritated voice.
"Fine," I replied.
"Now I activate Peten's effect. Now I can special summon another Peten the Dark Clown (ATK500/DEF1200) in attack position!"
"Oh, That's why he did that."
"Exactly, Now I set 1 monster face down and set 2 spells."
"Is it my turn now?"
"Correct."
"I summon Practitioner of the Ice Barrier(ATK1300/DEF0) and now I end my turn by setting 1 card face down."

He came to duel academy as a transfer student from west academy, hoping to stay because, like at home, he was seperated. he still doesnt want to have friends but he wants to be accepted and he'll destroy any one who gets in his way.
