Huh...a weird concept is all I can say. I hope the prologue/first chapter is LONG so you can explain all of this. So, what the heck, I'll submit a character.

Name: Lauren
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Description: Green eyes, short dark-brown hair, usually wears blue, black and gray. White sneakers with black soles, it that matters. Likes to wear black jeans.
BackGround: She may use Ghost-types, but she's not depressing or sadistic or even shy. Alice likes thrills and loves winning challenges. She can crack under a lot of pressure, however. She doesn't enjoy waiting, but is patient when she needs to be. Doesn't like to argue and often avoids conflict with others. Lauren can dwell on old things for a while, and likes keeping souvenirs and old gifts, which I guess is one thing that ties her to Ghost-types. She likes the Ghost-type because it is nigh invulnerable to physical damage and requires strategy to beat.

Backround: Manipulative. He gets everyone to trust them and has no problem scapegoating somebody.

I'm gonna mix up a new character if I may.

Name: James Splice
Age: 35
Study: Pokemon dna, he has designed numerous TM's that are impossible for any pokemon to learn naturally
Description: tall, bald and has a vulture like face, always wears a lab coat.
Backround: James cares only about his research. He is determined to unlock all of the secrets behind pokemon, regardless of any moral barriers that may stand in his way. Using his research James already managed to create many illegal drugs out of Pokemon specimens which he then sold in the black market to fund his experiments. He was one of the reserchers working at Sliph Co. After the accident he went insane (since by fusing with pokemon dna these guys have by accident greatly surpassed him in achievements). Driven by his madness he mutated himself. Now all he cares about his continuing his research, testing how it would work on other pokemon or humans. His obsession with this makes him more criminally insane then the other beast triners.
Type: Poison
Beast Formation: James skin simply starts melting into a purple goo. The goo then reforms itself into a purple slime (since it is a liquid it shapes shift but frequently has a appernce tht looks like this except purple.
Edited Pokemon:
1 Consumat: A large blue Swalot with four whiskers. This Swalot is modified so it can store anything in it's belly safely. However it is capable of producing a highly acidic bile.
2. Tentadoom A tentacruel that is silver in color. It is capable of producing a slow acting toxin tht slowly drains it's foe of energy.
3. Venocroak: A brown toxicroak. It's sac churns and produces many altered toxins, a magority o which John uses for his drug trade.
4 Nidolord: Nidolord is a large spiked red Nidoking breed for destructive power. It actually grows in strength as the battle goes on and it can use fire attacks.
(Edited) Moves: Venom: Like toxic but causes a graudal decrasing drain in stats.
Oil spike: A evolution of toxic spike tat is highly flammable.
Gunk Wad: A large gunk shot that grows in size the longer it is airborne.
Sludge Grenade: A denser packed Sludge bomb, the poison goo explodes on impact which makes the poison airborne.

Name: Blake Pierce
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Description: Blue Eyes, Red Cap, Black Pants and an Orange Top with Yellow and Red Flames on it.
Backround: Blake is an abrupt person, Daring willing to fight for his friends. He has a temper when upset so don't piss him off.
Type: Fire

Charizard - Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, Earthquake
Arcanine - Sunny Day, Fire Blast, Overheat, Extremespeed

background: Is the son of a formor league champ of sinnoh (Not the one before cynthia, the one before that). The champ was a Dark specialist and gave Kris his first ever Pokemon, An Absol. Kris is a dark and Some what similar to evil just not. Dont make him angry though because he will kill you, quite literally.
Type: dark
pokemon - moves: (i was gonna do darkrai but you said no legendarys so...)
Absol - Shadow ball, Razor wind, Extremespeed & Crunch.
Umbreon - ^Above^ except Razor wind is Iron tail instead.
Honchcrow - Shadow ball, Aireal ace, Steel wing, Pursuit.
Houndoom - Shadow ball, Blast burn, Extremespeed, and please may i use a made up move.
Dark fire (the exact same as flame thrower just dark type) if i can, Flamethrower
if i can't.
