I discontinued my Fic Rise of the Light Assassins cause I didn't know what to do with it. However, for this fic I will go through with it and I've almost got the Storyline perfect. BUT!, I need characters. Here is the submission form:
Oh, and for the Deck Type, these types are preferred but not required: Blackwings, Gladiator Beasts, Arcana Force, Lightsworn/Twilight, Ice Barrier, Flamvell, Six Samurai, Iron Chains, and Plant. Please don't choose Zombie. That's going to be the main character's Deck Type. If you could also post a Decklist and playbook inside a spoiler it would be very much appreciated. (Also, I will allow 1 made-up card in the Deck. Please post a link or the card.)

Then, one day a centurion killed everyone he traveled with. He though they were light empire soldiers, but they were really from the shadow empire. He now works for them as a skilled duelist. Fighting ruthlessly to destroy the light empire.
Personality (required) He is a ruthless fighter, but kind to those that he has compassion for. He is very athletic and can think on his feet.

In 16 B.C., a young Roman prince by the name of Andal Bestiari was slowly rising to power. He had conquered many surrounding lands but he had wanted more. In 4 B.C. he launched an attack that started a war titled "The Shadow King's Odyssey". The attack was launched at modern day Turkey, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania. Bestiari conquered these lands but was not pleased. The lands had little to offer so he traveled North conquering lands all the way up to Germany. This Empire became known as the "Σκιά Empire" or "Shadow Empire." In 24 A.D., at the age of 55, Andal Bestiari declared war on modern day Spain and was killed in battle. However, before he declared war he had named a heir. His grandson, Darius Dimicari. Darius was, at the time, 17 years old. His mother and father had both died of serious illness so he was the only relative of Andal left. Darius sought to avenge his Grandfather and continued the war on Spain. In 34 A.D. Darius' army was defeated and was forced to retreat back to Rome. The King who had defeated him was also from Rome. His name Hoplomus Laquari. He sent his army to surrounding nations to dispose of Darius' armies. They quickly rid the nations of Darius' forces and began to form a new Empire which was called "El Imperio de la Luz" or "The Light Empire." Darius was enraged and marched to destroy Hoplomus' armies. This war, known as "Darius' Vengeful March", lasted until 50 A.D. Hoplomus was once again victorious and offered Darius a peace treaty between their Empires. Darius agreed to Hoplomus' terms and signed the treaty. All was well until 1236 A.D. when a young man, who is a descendant of Darius Dimicari, heard of his ancestors exploits. This man, Gyzarus Heraklinos, became obsessed with his family's history. He studied day after day, week after week, month after month, his ancestors Empire and the lands they conquered. Then one day, in 1239 A.D. he stumbled across a document in his studies. It told of Hoplomus Laquari and how he had defeated Darius twice to obtain peace. The more Gyzarus read, the more he became disgusted with his heritage. When he finished the document he was embarrassed to be related to Darius Dimicari, who after only two defeats, had given up and signed a peace treaty. Gyzarus began to build his own army in 1240 A.D. He built an army so large, he was able to conquer his ancestor's Empire in less than two years. In 1243 A.D. Gyzarus became Emperor and began his harsh rule. He put anyone who disagreed with him to death. Whenever someone was brought in for a crime, he tortured the truth out of them ruthlessly with techniques everyone feared. He had created the most peaceful yet powerful Empire in History by invoking fear into his citizens. A descendant of Hoplomus, Retiari Laquari, had heard of Gyzarus' rule and was terrified at what he heard. As king of what is now modern day England, he declared war on Gyzarus in 1251 A.D. The war was never ending. In 1263 A.D. both Gyzarus and Retiari had passed with age. However, this did not end the war. Both named heirs who continued their battle. This war has been waged for centuries and still sees no end. In 1722 A.D. a young man named Equeste Laquari was born into the Light Empire. He was raised to fight, and only to fight. In 1753 A.D. he was crowned Emperor of the Light Empire. He continued the fight of his Ancestors and won many battles. However, he could not win the war. Equeste was persistent and never gave up. Unfortunately, in 1771 A.D., Equeste perished of illness. The Shadow Empire was able to recover and began to re-dominate the war under the ruler Samnite Octavius in 1808. Since that time the Shadow Empire has dominated the war. In 1996 A.D., a man named Maximillion Pegasus invented the game known as Duel Monsters. The game was of little value until Seto Kaiba invented the Duel Disk System. When this invention was created it was adopted by the Shadow and Light Empires and used to fight their war. Now more people died than ever before. Everyone grew worried and was hoping the war would soon end. It was certain the war would never end until one boy discovered a truth that could end the war forever.
