The human race is very selfish. We came here and took over the damn planet because we wanted to. We keep what should be majestic wild animals as pets. We screw up earths atmosphere with polluting factorys and car emmisions. And some of us spend our time trying to find new planets to live on, thus proving that we don't care about our own.
Discuss.

But we not only have wild animals as pets we are also destroying the animals habitat, and thanks to us alot of animals have gone Extinct

Rats are majestic? Also most of the "majestic" animals are still wild. Also most of the domesticated animals wouldn't be able to live out in the wild. Besides why does it matter that we have pets if you take good care of them and love them?

Do you think we were trying to? We weren't and your trying to fix it and we are trying to find other ways to live. The reason we haven't stopped using the products that are killing the earth cold turkey is because if we stopped our whole way of life would change and I don't think most people would want that.

This is just plan stupid to say. Even if we found other planets to live on their is no way we'll have the technology to get their till 100s of years in the future so that isn't why were looking for other hospitable planets. We're trying to find them to see if other intelligent life is some where out their. And again the "not caring about our own is total BS because we are trying to save the planet and stop ourselves from screwing it up even more.
Because a mindless cycle of killing is definitely not worth breaking out of if only slightly with amazing achievements in science and forms of entertainment. Though one could just say that humans are simply hard to amuse and other animals are fine with the simpler things in life.
But nonetheless, accomplishments made by humans shouldn't be underwritten as selfish. All creatures try to be the best, it's not our fault that we're so damn good at doing so.

I'm not against the whole earth. I help,
alot. I'm not asking people to fix the problems, just to stop being stupid enough to realise they exist. I dont provide extra problems that I can't fix myself. I'm not yelling. And being pleased is something that is pointless.
Obviously people realize these problems exist. But no one acknowledges it because no feasible solution is available at this point in time. Sure, we can stop making cars and ban the use of them. But I think we care more about ourselves and making things easier than we care about the planet. And we are providing some solutions, like makings cars with more MPG, or cars that run with electricity.

That is the point I am trying to get across.
I doubt anyone would be willing to give up the luxury of a car that has impacted human life so much (in a good way) just to save a few baby pandas or kangaroos.
