it looks like the 2008 starter deck with extras added in, needs more theme into it.

Pick a specific focus for your deck. And before you say it, "warriors" and "synchros" don't count as themes. They're way too broad.

This user has bought the starter deck and hes building on it. Thats what most new players do.

It's against Advanced Format. Me only play advanced format.
