1. NO "_____ CARD?" THREADS
This includes general threads such as "Worst Card," "Best Card," "Favorite Card," or any variations of them. These threads normally generate no useful discussion, and are completely redundant. However, if a thread is more specific in asking for a comparison between several cards, it will be allowed.
    1.1 "_____ card is ____"/Memes
This includes "fail card is fail", "good card is good", or any variation thereof. These comments are thoughtless and contribute absolute nothing to discussions. However, you may include a comment of this nature if your post contains other substance that contributes to the discussion. This rule also applies to any other memes.

    1.2 Flaming
If the "victim" in question is arguing an obviously incorrect point, or arguing a point without proper reasoning and/or a shabby argument, you may insult and bash the "victim" to your heart's content. However, it is absolutely not permitted to flame the "victim" if the "victim" does provide a solid point and/or argument.
2. NO ANIME-ONLY CARD DISCUSSIONS
Unless the specified card will be released in OCG/TCG, there is absolutely no point in discussing it, because it is impossible to apply any tips/strategies/etc. from the discussion in real life. Please keep these threads in the Anime Forum. Future threads will be moved.
    2.1 Created Cards
Any discussion of user-created cards and their hypothetical impacts are prohibited. Each card that has been created and published already has a dedicated thread, so an additional thread discussing the same card is not necessary in the TCG Section. Moreover, such discussions of purely hypothetical matters can yield no practical knowledge.

3. NO CARD ACQUISITION THREADS
This includes threads discussing any card pulls or past trades. These threads normally generate no useful discussion, and are completely redundant. However, if you wish to discuss a card that you pulled, just start a thread that ONLY discusses that specific card. This clause has now been extended to any attempts to sell or trade cards through any means in this forum.

4. NO DUMB QUESTIONS
The truth is, there are dumb questions; dumb questions and laziness. If you have questions regarding Game Mechanics, Card Types, or Card Rulings, look for your answer on the Wiki, the Official UDE Website or on Google before asking about it here.
    4.1 Appraisal Threads
Threads that ask for card values generate no useful discussion, just like dumb questions, and thus are no longer allowed. There are many other price databases on the internet and in print media that you consult. Those sources are also more likely to be accurate than some value assessed by a member of this website.

    4.2 Question and Answer
From here on, no threads asking questions outside of evaluation or comparison purposes will be allowed. Submit all game and card related questions to the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! Q&A thread.

5. PENALTY INCREASED
Please understand the above rules and abide by them. Any violation of any of the above rules will result in the deletion/closing of the offending post/thread, as well as a 20% permanent warning increase for the offending poster. After three (3) offenses, the offender will receive a three-day ban. Any further violations will result in higher consequences.

If you see anything that is vague or questionable, just mention it, and I'll fix it.
also, i suggest the same with "most overpowered card", "the best card" and "the worse card"
Very good change, was much needed
Updated, thanks for the input.
best or worst card from certain sets i think are relevant tho (like best LODT card etc); best card in general is just way too broad a category. best ritual i think is ok, etc. (best gravekeeper, spellcaster, wind monster etc.)

you may need to hold crab down and brand rule two on his backside when he gets back
Good work tea, you 3 make a great team.
Courtesy and tolerance!? On my Internets!?! 0_0

HAHAHAHAHA!

On-topic: Define more. Cite examples. Also, if the reasoning's already been given in the topic, then do we really need a reasoning? Or is it on a case-by-case basis?
Alright, good work, Tea!

Question: Are "Best card out of these" threads allowed? Such a thread can easily form a useful discussion.
Updated to suit your needs.
Congrats on Moderatership, Tea leaf. I hate the stupid "Best Card" threads.
Good choices.

I expect more Bawwwing from people in the future from it. This Bawwwing increases the reasons for the place to exist.
Great start as a mod man! You're taking great actions which will take you far as a person and not only as a mod.
lol... stop flirting with the mod...

so, tea, in other words, we can say "you fail" or "learn2play" if we give enough reasons to say why we say that??
My personal opinion is You give a Good reason as to why that person Fails Then It should be Ok in my opinion. Keep up the good work all right TL? I have confidence in you.
Thanks, I'll do my best! n..n

Precisely.
Suggestion! (Instead of Objection!)

Stop all the, "What I've Pulled" threads.

I'm think about stopping the "Ever traded..." topics too, basically just all the topics that ask generally irrelevant questions. What do you guys think?
I think yes. The less floody threads, the better. I just want serious TCG discussions.

in fact, with just one official "what i've pulled" thread is done...

because everybody have the right to presume their luck...
Did salty quit or something? Because no offense (actually, yeah, DO take offense), you're a pretty shitty mod.

Trigger happy locks is something, deleting posts is another.

Like this one will probably be.
