I made another thread like this long ago but it got spammed by people who didn't know what were saying.
So do people have the right to suicide?
It is every person's right to do whatever he/she wants to do with their life, even end it. But on the other hand isn't commiting suicide actually comitting a murder therefore it must be stoped by law?

These used to be my thoughts when I was comptemplating suicide. The lyrics used in this song are very powerful. "It was always mine anyway. There's some things you cant take away". Thats the really strong one I felt. I thought, "Who are they to tell me it's wrong? It's my life, so it's my decision!" So really I'm going to say people do have the right to commit suicide. It's selfish of anyone to assume that their problems aren't big enough to commit suicide over. There is a large difference between emo and suicidal. Suicidal deserve pity, emo does not.

Why wouldn't they? It's their life, they are entitled to do whatever the hell they want with it.

In a way I see where you are coming from with this. But think about it this way; you may think that it's selfish to commit suicide. But isn't it more selfish to make someone not commite suicide, just so your family wont feel bad?
If I was one person, yeah. When you're trying to prevent a suicide from a guy who has a lot of contacts and family, then no. Because you think about others. The suicidal person doesn't.

The human mind can be weakened to a state of seaking death. With proper attention the can grow stronger and out of their depression. However if a person really wants to give up then the might as well. It is their life and they hold the choice to kill themselves or not.
I'd have to say yes only because I speak from personal experience. If a person really feels life is that bad that they want to kill themselves, they should be allowed to, there's very little chance they'd confined in anyone which may make it hurt more for the people around them.

Depression isn't about strength; Or emotion, but character and tolerance.
If you can tolerate something; You can't get depressed over it.
If you have character, you're pretty much immune to it anyway.
Directly linking suicide with depression is stereotyping, anyway.
People commit suicide over pressure, insecurities, and fear.
If suicide were commonly foregrounded; the increase in deaths would be huge.
But eh.
Why would I care?
If one of my friends committed suicide, I'd get pissed thinking I was enough of a reason to be alive. Thus meaning, suicide insults me.

If the person has no hope to ever pick themselves up in life then yes they should have the right. I always say that you can always come back from Rock Bottom but there are some people that have unfortunatly gone beyond that.... Too many Bills are a Prime Example. Death is like an Eternal Sleep. But if you were to Suicice. I would say out of everyone elses way, Don't make a scene about it. Just think of the Sleep you are going to have, then bite the bullet or jump off the Stool while Hanging..... Remember that we have a right to all things. The "Law" Is just there to help.
