To be honest, I'm not against it. I've never had a problem being around smoking and we were fine when people were aloud to smoke in public before.
I find it vulgar, (and it annoys me..) But I do not believe the fact that it can kill people with 2nd hand smoke.. Just get a scarf or something and cover your face. (Thats what I do)...

I'm against it..
For personal reasons, of course. ^_^.
But, in honesty, it isn't that big of a deal.
Smoking doesn't do much more than pollute, be it ones lungs, or the air.
Except, certain places like schools, it should be disallowed, as parents tend to get pissy when it happens.

It is possible to state both a belief and a personal opinion and yet still get to the end result. Besides what fun is there if you do not state your personal preference and yet what you would prefer in the same statement?
Point being if you dont like it, find an alternate means to avoid or put up with it.

im against it, every single place there has to a be a damn smoker in the place. it annoys me, the smoke smells awful (i nearly got asthma once) and it just looks awful

To be honest, It's because China's populated to the overload.
The odds are you'd run into a smoker commonly. It's basic logic.
Are you saying you got asthma from the smoke?
If not, don't contribute it.
Since, asthma isn't possessed by the majority, therefore not a reason to stop it. ;].
Also, you may think it looks awful, but there is nothing like a trail of smoke emerging up next to you like a tranquil floating snake to make you look cool.
Just my opinion of your opinion, though. =].

I'm against it. Especially when you get those inconsiderate morons who blow smoke in your face. Its bad enough being around it.
Against it, probably because smoke is one of my asthma's triggers (same with Aerosols, Air Freshners....and having a cold...). Personally I hate the smell of it especially when it blows in your direction while walking to school EVERY GOD DAMN DAY (we had smokers that would always smoke down my road in the morning and I would be forced to pass them, but I would make a show of zipping my jacket right up so my nose was cover), I don't want their second hand smoke.
Smoking in general has no purpose and in my opinion is a form of suicide. It should be abolished in all areas, not just public.
AGAINST IT! My cousins call it a cancer stick XD, but I hate it, it does kill or cause stuff that does kill
I would like it if people didn't smoke in public places.
However, I believe that you should be able to.
The smoking of Hashish, Marijuana and Cigars should be permitted.
The smoking of addictive supplements such as Tobacco, Crack and Crystal Meth, ones created to cause addiction and steal your money (by Corporate Monopoly or by guys in their basement), should not. Obviously because Cigarettes smell terrible + Marijuana smells nice, and because the others are not going to get you hooked if you were to use them for the occasional celebration.

There is no accual Need for Smoking.
Everytime I have to sit in the same room as some0ne who smokes. I find it trouble to breathe properly. Also the faact it make your Clothes and Home Smell of off Tobacco. Also the Financial part of feeding a Smoking habit is astronomical. There must be other things then Nicotine for you.
I am against smoking in public areas, it should cut down on smoking.
It is also a delight, to walk into a Pub and sit down and have a Drink, without been blasted in the face with smoke clouds ^_^
Luckly Britian has a ban.
I'm against smoking in public areas - ESPECIALLY restaurants. I really hate having smoke blwon in my face while I'm trying to eat something. It makes me sick and it makes me lose my appitite. Thank goodness that there is a ban on smoking in restaurants where I live now.
If you wanna smoke, go outside! Do us all a favor....and don't stand in front of the door when you do. That's just as bad as smoking inside!
it's fine just as long as he doesn't blow the smoke in mah direction, then me haz serious issues....
