Jesse Anderson vs Joey Wheeler

I'd go with Joey.

obviously jesse. Joey's card rely too much on luck. Unless he had the claw of heramos then joey wheel is pretty much screwed. While jesse plays with skill and strategy, joey dosnt even have a single card to match the strength of Rainbow Dragon

as far as i would like to side with you, and to how i am going against the principles for my love of rainbow dragon, i must say that just having the card dosnt meen anything. First off, it takes a hell of a requiem to just summon the dragon, then youve got to worry about joey's trap cards. Even though i side with jesse, joey has some amazing trap cards!

true but if jesse used his advanced crytal beasts he would be practically untouchable by traps and his dark rainbow dragon would be free to take out joey's lp the only thing he would have to worry about would be monsters but drd has 4000 ATK right?

Jesse would win, especially if he figures out about Abundance OTK.

Perhaps we've all forgotten how much farther Red Eyes has gotten since Joey using just the normal monster.

If it was the show this would happen:

Joeys life points are lower then Jesse. Joey has 1 face down and Red Eyes on the field. Jesse has his Spell Trap zones full of Cristal Beasts. Joey makes a comment about how Jesse doesn't have any monsters. Jesse summons Rainbow Dragon, and increases its ATK. Rainbow Dragon attacks Red Eyes. Joey activates face down trap, (this trap will be luck based.) Attack is negated. Joey thinks to self that there is nothing in his deck that can beak such a powerful monster. Joeys turn, he draws and activates Shield And Sword and destroys Rainbow Dragon with Red Eyes winning the duel.

First series characters always beat GX characters.

joey is number 3 jesse is 5

nothing in joeys deck can stand up 2 rainbow dragon
