Hello! Since Queen of Hearts didn't exactly go as planned, Ace Daimon and I are starting over from scratch. We have created a new fanfic: Yu-Gi-Oh! Megatropolis. We are also creating a series of Megatropolis card sets. Here is the prologue for Megatropolis:

In the year 2040, Earth's population has reached 10 billion, and giant "megacities" have been created to contain most of the populus. With overpopulation and famine threatening society, new endeavors for colonization of the Moon and Mars are being pursued. Duel Monsters is still the most popular game ever made, with millions of different cards created, and the 23rd biggest economical contributor to the world market.
But, there is a simple solution to the overpopulation problem. Megatropolis, a pocket dimension created from a combination of magic and technology filled with citizens from countless alternate timelines, or "A-lines", where Duel Monsters dueling technology has been combined with magic to create a realistic replica of the original Egyptian card game. The game is also used by the Megatropolis Police Corps as a tool and a weapon.
Unfortuantely, a threat lurks over Megatropolis. An entity calling himself "The Destroyer", who has consumed an unknown number of A-lines, has appeared in 5 pieces across 5 A-lines near Megatropolis in space-time, including ours, and theatens those worlds. If the Destroyer's fragments are united, He will be reborn, and the A-line he is reborn into will be destroyed.
A series of accidents and coincidences will allow a young duelist from our timeline to have the ability to save not only our world, but an infinite number of others, including Megatropolis. He will make friends out of rivals, rivals out of friends, and, possibly, save all of space-time.

Bio: Born in Megatropolis to a poor Pure Strain Human family on the gritty streets of one of Megatropolis's porrest districts, she learned quickly how to survive and stole books from the library of a local scholar and scholled herself in countless subjects. She joined the MPC to correct and genetic defect and managed to trick the technicians into giving her a reversal of the gene. The gene caused her to rapidly age, so she started to age slowly. She now looks like somone 1/10th her age. She wasd promptly deerited and forced to use her new semi-permanent young adult looks as an undercover agent for decades before being reassigned to being a member of the MPC Inter-Dimensional Special Operations Division. She now is one of SpecOps top agents.

She longs to escape the threat of war looming over her country and go somewhere away from that with her precious Duel Monster spirits. Recently, she came across a strange Egyptian artifact that looks like a golden upside-down pyramid made out of puzzle pieces. She has been known to black out at times when she wears the artifact.

Status: Leading the Highbreed from their headquarters in Los Angeles
Bio: Wylde is one of the Werepire, a derogatory term for what happens when a werewolf is bitten (usually on accident) by a vampire, or vice-versa. But Wylde is special. His mother was a vampire and his father was a werewolf, making him a "True Hybrid". Werepyres have all of the strengths of their "base" and "donor" beings, but none of their weaknesses, making them very powerful. Unfortunately, the combination of a werewolf's instinct and a vampire's bloodlust can drive a werepyre to a feral state where they will never be able to change back into human form. True hybrids, however, grow up with this mental instability, so they have a significantly lower chance of going feral. Werepires are highly discriminated against by both species, so Wylde has decided to unite together all three breeds of werepire into "The Highbreed", a shadow government tasked with wiping out both vampires and werewolves.

I forgot to mention! There are, of course, 6 A-lines your character can be from, including Earth-YRP-169 (our Earth) and Megatropolis (Central-00), as well as many other dimensions for character origin. Here they are:

Summary: Our Earth, but in 2040, new technology, and lots of people. Most of the local sentients, Pure Strain Humans, live in cities or megacities. Duel Runners and Turbo Duels are still common, but are mostly a fading fad. People still use Duel Runners to duel, but they don't always use "Speed World" and the Speed Spells in duels. Yugi Moto, Jaden Yuki, Yusei Fudo, and all of their friends and rivals are retired by now.
Destroyer Fragment: Zyzyx, The Destroyer's Power

Summary: An earth where time travel technology invented by Albert Einstein caused the Nazis to never exist, and the Cold War to become very real. Magic still isn't very prominent, but psionics makes up for it. The Allies and the Soviets have been butting heads for the past century. Pure Strain Humans are still the only sentient species on the planet. Duel Monsters isn't as popular.

Summary: An earth where magic didn't die out, but technology never got past the industrial level. Instead, the world is a combination of magic and steampunk. The Anglo-German Imperium controls most of the world. Pure Strain Humans are still the only sentient species. Duel Monsters is commonly played through special Tarot cards.
Destroyer Fragment: Phrik, The Destroyer's Essence

Summary: An earth where apes were not the only animal to evolve into sentience, but various other creatures have genetic offshoots that formed underground societies below humanity. Otherwise, this alternate dimension is close to ours, albeit slightly behind. Pure Strain Humans, as well as several "anthro" and "were" species, play a more simpler form of Duel Monsters about 30 years behind.
Destroyer Fragment: Hriss, The Destroyer's Might

Summary: An earth where magic is very prominent, but technology is still at the Greco-Roman level. Several other magical species, including feyfolk, dwarves, varoius anthro species, and monstrous hominids such as centaurs and medusi, exist. Dueling is almost the same as Egyptian times.
Destroyer Fragment: Zaeon, The Destroyer's Sense

Summary: The duel dimensions, not really an A-line and therefore not assigned an identity code, are where Duel Monster spirits reside when not summoned. The 12 main Duel Dimensions are Sogen, Umi, Yami, Forest, Mountain, Wasteland, Rising Air Current, Gaia power, molten Destruction, Umiiruka, Luminous Spark, and Mystic Plasma Zone, with many sub-dimensions in between. Many Pure Strain Humans also live here. Dueling is very seroius, with losing meaning dissolving into motes of light.

Summary: Neo Space is a mysterious dimension that doesn't really qualify as an A-line. The Neo-Spacians reside here and do combat with the Aliens, who keep invading. Dueling is very normal, except it is very real.

Summary: Not much is known about the A-Zone except 3 facts:
1. It is home to the Aliens.
2. Like Neo Space, it isn't really an A-line.

Summary: The mysterious pocket dimension only accessible by either the Millennium items, high-level magic, or some other way. Many unfortunate souls were sent to the Shadow Realm, and very few people who go there ever come back...

Summary: Created countless centuries ago by migrants from an overpopulated alternate Atlantis, Megatropolis is a Ringworld rotating around its primary in a small pocket dimension a light-year in diameter. Created by combining powerful magic with advanced technology, Megatropolis is actually a misnomer: only 1% of 1% of 1% of the construct's surface area, which is the equivalent of 3,000,000 earths, is city. The rest is farmland, wilderness, and ocean. Still, 600 TRILLION citizens live on Megatropolis, coming from many A-lines and comprising many different sentient species and cultures and backgrounds. Duel monsters is very common, and is known to almost everyone.

Bio:Born and raised in the Forest top of Altemaer. once she trued 14 she was given the ritual of the Pilgrimage as all of her people have done in her tribe. She left the Forest and found the Megatropolis. Mikotomaru is young, for a kitsune, and very serious and stoic for a race of trickster spirits. He grew up very poor until he immigrated to Megatropolis. No, not in the least. They seem a lot better than many of the Smash Bros. cards out there, just judging by their names. If you'd like me to, you can PM me their effects, so I can check for OCG and stuff.

Did you get permission from Els to use them?

EDIT: Does the deck have to be a full, 40-card deck?

1. I got permission from Els.
2. It has to be between 40 and 60 cards in the Main Deck.
You can also use a Side Deck if you want to, and that can have between 1 and 15 cards. Chances are your character won't use a Side Deck, but if you feel like it, I won't stop you...
