but they have quite a big weakness here since they rely on the opponent's cards in the graveyard for more power.
Therefore, not much play in real life is expected of them. Although they can make nice side decking if some rock duelist is up against a machine/warrior/dinosaur duelist.

Well there mostly fusion types for one, and I agree with Raviel Priest

It's a cool idea, but sadly not very playable in reality...
Maybe if there were some for Dragons or Beasts it could see some play...

Or they could do what they did in Tag Force 2, and eliminate the requirement for a specific type.
Even then, it needs some extra support probably...

cards that need specific types arent all that good in todays meta
you dont wana have to wait for your opponent to get a lv+6 something or a warrior or whatever
stuff like DAD can just d-draw malicious, e-tele krebons, sync to a 2500+ ATK monster, and still keep on goin

The Fossil cards are awesome though D:
Plus, In TF2, You only need a monster of said level. Not type.

Most unique archetype ever. All of them are Fusions.

It's not in the Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia's Fossil Monster template. It doesn't really count.

It's mentioned in the article. It counts.

No, they're not, sadly enough.

There all good and they look cool but there is something I can't pinpoint about these cards.
11-08-2008, 05:44 AM
There pretty good. Though it really depends on what your opponent's Graveyard is like.

No, if they were real, that would mean we would be more likely to draw them.
Now, aside from Pachycephalo, all of them are Fusions that rely on a Poly that works on the Graveyard and all Fusion focus on Rocks, Warrior, Machines, and Dinosaurs. Rocks are pretty useless nowadays, Dinosaurs are getting more support in the next Duel Terminal, so I wouldn't count them out, Warriors mainly act as staples now, but good ones at that, and Machines were murdered by the banlist.
