Thanks tiger! I know how to render in photoshop, but sometimes when i'm not on my own computer i'll definently use this!
i already know how to do this but still great, and also, you don't have to open another window, after pressing selection from path, you can just go to Layers>transperency>add alpha channel, and invert the selection by pressing ctrl+I or go to selection>invert.then you press delete on your keyboard, saves some time.so you don't have to open a second window.sounds long but it's actually quite fast.

Hmm. Thanks, but every time I try that something goes wrong. D=
It still works the way I do it, though.
This would be great if I only had GIMP. Cool tut.

You're welcome!
The image is from wolfbeserker's Image showcase.
My first render, I'm 100% sure its not too good
It looks great for a first render! Did you use this tut to help you?
I'm very glad I could help

This is a good tutorial. Now I need one for Photoshop

Whenever I try this, I've got to keep my mouse clicked down for some reason, weird. Anything anyone can recommend to me to fix this issue?
No, you're suppose to do it one click at a time.
That's why your work is choppy, you can keep clicking and move it around to make curves to give it a better cut.
Already Knew how on GIMP, for about 6 months.
But great tut for those who did not know ^_^

Good tut! Thanks alot. Has helped, as I suck at doing renders >.<
I've fixed my problem.
And the problem I had was I couldn't click, it didn't do anything when I did, only when I kept my mouse down did it make a difference. Anyways, good ole' Photoshop does the trick
