Don't touch brightness, but mess around with the Hue / Saturation settings. You can also do border recolors, and Sticker recolors with the skills you already have.

There are plenty of them out there for free. There are shops that you can buy them in, aswell as requests. And overall, you can make them for free!

just go to the tutorial section and go to the paint.net perfect holos and use the one in there,it's very common.

i dunno if this is good but not many people do this but if you set the holo layer to color dodge before saving,i think it makes the lines,well brighter and the dark spots lighter.
i think it makes the holo more cooler in my opinion.

Try a booster or rendering. Its really easy.
