Well the question is in the title so are there other ways to earn points besides posting?

Contests.

Donations.

Shops

Donations?

People can donate points to you

How?

Click on a person's name, it will take you to their profile, and you click on where it says donate right next to their points, and the rest is self explainitory.

- Contests.
- Shops.

Thats about it.

Voting in polls.

-You can start your own Shop in the "Shops" section
-You can host a contest, and ask for a small entry fee
-Other people may decide to donate points to you for various reasons (e.g. If you be nice to someone, they may give you a gift)
-You can enter a contest, and win prize points if they are offered
