Rule Change! 10,000 LP instead of 8000

All rules, the banlist, and the cardpool remain the same, with one exception: Players must start off with 10,000 LP instead of 8,000

OTKs are overall more difficult, anime bumps up to 5000, duels last longer (which is bad).

Why would Duels lasting longer be bad? Don't we want the duels to be lasting longer, without the ten thousand OTK's we have in this game?

When compared to the 1st(not 0) season? Where each duel took 4 to 5 episodes?

i dont think it will effect the game much since a couple years ago me and some of my friends came up with a new type of duel we call a trator duel to make the game a bit more interesting witch plays the same as a normal/tag team duel except you play with 50,000 LP and it takes 6-20 people to play.

To say the truth, I think that lock decks are annoying enough now. They shouldn't become even more annoying now.

Duels will last longer, which is a good thing if you need time to draw "that" card if you're losing

The old OTK combos won't work so we have to resource some new ones.

For me, a +2000 LP won't be so bad. I usually hit the opponent with over 10000 damage throughout the duel so doesn't bother me much.

What OTKs deal over 10,000 damage anyway? Most of them just deal just over 8000? Can someone list some for me, kthnx

-probability of Decking out increases slightly
-Exodia gets a slightly bigger chance to get out
-Burn Decks will become even worse (more Life Points to burn)
-Duels last longer (everything I said above implies this)
-Deck out Decks rises a little
-OTKs get hit, except for the ones that make infinite cycles like:
1) Cannon Soldier + Ultimate Offering + Mysterious Puppetter + Black Ptera
2) Honest + Ultimate Offering + Athena
3) Mass Driver + Imperial Iron Wall + that Level 2 Machine-Type rat that Yusei uses in the anime
And some others like Chimeratech Overdragon's OTK with Future Fusion

All in all, the game would slow down in general
