Turbo Speed : PROLOGUE
Prologue (Click to View) 12:00 am "CLICK!" was the sound the door made when the 14 year old boy picked the lock to enter "The Johnson's Duel Shop." He crept in with ease closing the door behind him. He then walked over to a nearby counter and jumped over it. "CLICK" was the sound made by the lights turning on. The boy froze knowing that he was caught. An old man walked in from the back door. He looked as if he had exepected this to happen. The Old Man: What is your name son? At the sound of the old man's voice, the boy ran to the door he entered. But before he could touch the handle of the door, he felt a yank on his collar. Boy's thoughts: This old man is fast! The boy's heart dropped. He knew the consequences for stealing Duel Monster Cards. The Old Man: What is your name son. Noris: My name is Noris sir. Noris noticed that the old man's face didn't show any anger, which made it easier to tell him his name. The old man loosened his iron grip on Noris's collar. Tenjii: Well my name is Tenjii. May I ask why you are in my shop at this time? Don't you know that my shop opens at 1pm and closes at 9pm? Noris: Yes sir. I just........... wanted to get some cards for my friends. Tenjii turned around and folded his arms. Tenjii Well I could juist send you off to the PPM (Perunga Punishment Center) Noris fell down to his knees. His heart fell and he felt cold. He could see it now. Inmates taking food of his lunch tray that wasn't even worth eating, and some guy named Bobby asking him to read uncensored letters sent by his girlfriend. Noris: NO, PLEASE! DON'T SEND ME THERE. I'LL DO ANYTHING. The old man was shaking up with laughter. Tenjii: Don't be so dull boy. I was just being sarcastic. The 2 symptoms came quickly. First, Noris was confused then he was angry. Noris: You old bag! How dare you scare me like that. you could have given me a heart attack at my young age. Tenjii's laugh became an uproar. Noris: WHAT IN THE HELL IS SO FUNNY! Tenjii's laugh faded away.He wiped the tears away from his eyes for laughing too hard. Tenjii: Oh, you should have seen the your face. You looked liked a liile wining baby. Noris's face flushed with embarrasment. Tenjii; Look here Sonny. I won't send you to the PPC on one condition. You have to duel me and win. Noris smirked Noris; I accept. The End Make sure you guys look for Chapter 1 to see how this duel turns out. Turbo Speed Chapter 1: Synchro Reunion Chapter 1 (Click to View) 12:30 am After agreeing to the terms, Tenjii and Noris walked to a nearby ally to set up. Tenjii: 8000(5 cards) Noris: 8000(5 cards) Tenjii: The winy baby goes first! Noris prepared to draw. Noris: Curse you old man Draw! That's when Tenjii noticed something very unique about Noris's Drawing skills. Then he realized it. Tenjii: HEY! You Draw like the former Duelist Champion, Hazzen Tyawa! Noris cracked a smile. Noris: Yeah.............. He was my dad. He constructed this deck for me. He used to always tell me to stay strong and never give up. I live by this moto so that one day I can Become........ THE DUELIST CHAMPION! Tenjii: HHHHHHHHHHUUUUUHHHHHHSSSSSSSSHHHHHHH.............. Noris looked at Tenjii to see that he had fallen asleep on his life goal story. Noris picked picked a nearby rock and threw it at the sleeping Tenjii. Tenjii awoke with a booming yell. Tenjii: OOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!! WHO THROUGH THAT ROCK AT ME!! Noris was pissed off now. Noris: Well it's your falt for falling asleep on my life goal story! Tenjii: No one asked to hear it! And besides, It was to long. Noris clutched his fist. Noris: IT WAS ONLY 1 MINUTE LONG YOU OLD BAG! Tenjii folded his arms. Tenjii: Well it must not have been much of a life goal story to only last 1 minute. Noris was boiling with anger. Tenjii could see how mad Noris was and was satisfied. He wanted revenge since he threw a rock at him. Noris tried to calm down and finish the duel. Noris: Lets just finish this duel. First I'll summon "Ancient Gear" from my hand in face-up defense position. And then I'll activate the effect of the "Ancient Gear" in my hand: If there is a face-up "Ancient Gear" on my side of the field, I can special summon it in attack position. Ancient Gear: Def:800/LV2 Ancient Gear: Atk:100/LV2 Noris: Now I'll end my turn by placing two face downs (magic and/or Traps) Tenjii: 8000(5 cards) Noris: 8000(2 cards) Tenjii: Time to make this duel more exciting!Draw! First I'll activate the spell card "Foolish Burial" and I'll send "Bolt Hedgehog" from my deck to my graveyard. Then I'll summon "Junk Synchron" in Atk position. Junk Synchron: Atk: 1300/LV3 Noris: Oh no!....You're not gonna.......... Tenjii: OH YES I AM! I'll activate the ability of my "Junk Synchron" so that I can special summon a LV2 monster from my graveyard and I choose my "Bolt Hedgehog." Bolt Hedgehog: Atk: 800/LV2 Tenjii: Now I'll tune my "Bolt Hedgehog" with my "Junk Synchron" to summon "Junk Warrior"! Junk Warrior: Atk: 2300/LV5 Tenjii: But before I attack, I'll activate "Mystical Space Typhoon" so I can destroy one og your face downs. At his last word, a mini-tornado appeared on Tenjii's side of the and sped towards one of Noris's face downs. The face down flipped up and shattered into a million pieces. Noris: Oh, not my "Waboku"....... Tenjii: Stop being so dramatic. Noris started to shake his fist in the air. Noris: Listen hear old man!! Just finish your turn! Tenjii: Stop wining! Ok, "Junk Warrior" attack his attack positioned "Ancient Gear". At his word "Junk Warrior" bolted towards "Ancient Gear" and destroyed it. Tenjii: 8000(3 cards) Noris: 5800(2 cards) Noris: I'll activate the trap card known as "Turbo Space". At his word, his faced down card flipped up. Tenjii: Well....... what does it do? Noris: You just wait and see! Tenjii: Ok, I end my turn. Tenjii: 8000(3 cards) Noris: 5800(2 cards) Noris: Ok,Draw Noris smiled. His hand was so good, that he could finish Tenjii off in this one turn. Noris: Since it's my Standby Phase, I can place 2 "Turbo Counters" on my "Turbo Space". Then I'll summon "Bolt Warrior" in attack position. Bolt Warrior: Atk: 600/LV3 Noris: Now I'll activate the ability the ability of my "Bolt Warrior": I can double his card level. "Bolt Warrior" started to glow green. Noris: Are you impressed yet? Tenjii: Uhmmm..... Nope not really. Noris: Well if you're not impressed yet, you just watch this. I'll tune my "Ancient Gear" with my "Bolt Warrior" to summon "Velocity Robo Warrior". Velocity Robo Warrior: Atk: 2300/LV6 Noris: And when he's summoned, I can place 4 "Turbo Counters" on him. And for every "Turbo Counter" on him, he gains 300 Atk points. Then I'll activate the effect of my "Turbo Space": I can remove "Turbo Counters" available on "Turbo Space" and place them on an appropiate card on the field. So I'll place the 2 "Turbo Counters" from my "Turbo Space" on my "Velocity Robo Warrior" so he can gain 600 extra attack points. "Velocity Robo Warrior" started to glow. Velocity Robo Warrior: Atk: 4100/LV6 Tenjii: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!? Noris: Yeah... and that's not all. I activate "Megamorph" from my hand and I'll equip it my "Velocity Robo Warrior", which doubles his original attack points. "Velocity Robo Warrior's" glow turned into an aurora. Velocity Robo Warrior: Atk: 6400/LV6 Tenjii: WHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!? Noris: Oh yeah! And finally, I'll activate "Limiter Removal" which doubles the Atk of all Machine-type monsters on my field. The aurora around "Velocity Robo Warrior" swayed side-to-side uncontrollably. Velocity Robo Warrior: 12800/LV6 Noris: Now destroy his "Junk Warrior". "Velocity Robo Warrior"aws so strong that he didn't even have to move. His eyes glowed yellow and "Junk Warrior" shattered into a million pieces. Tenjii: NOOOOOOOOOO! Noris: 5800 (0 cards) Tenjii: 0(3 cards) Noris: I win! The End Turbo Speed Chapter 2: Duel-mania!!! Chapter 2 (Click to View) 1:00 am Noris: And as we agreed, if I win, I get to go free. Noris folded his arms. Tenjii walked towards Noris. Tenjii: You're pretty good youngster. I haven't participated in a duel like that in many years. You're almost as good as your father. Noris smiled. He flushed. Tenjii: Alright, don't get all mushy on me. Here, give your friend this. Tenjii passed Noris a Duel Monsters deck. Noris took it and placed in his pocket. Tenjii looked at Noris like he expected something. Tenjii: Well............. Noris: Well, what? Tenjii: Nevermind. Hey that reminds me. The Golden Tournament starts 2 days from now. You and your friend should enter it. The Golden Tournament took place every 3 years. The Best duelists from all over the world participated in this tournamentl after the qualifying rounds. Noris's father entered this tournament to become the Duelist Champion. Noris: REALLY!!! Noris jumped with joy. Tenjii: Sure, I'll register you for the qualifying rounds, as long you as you never do that again. Noris: Sure! Whatever it takes! Tenjii: Okay, just bring your friend here later on today. 2:00 pm Noris walked side-by-side with a 14 year old boy to "The Johnson's Duel Shop". They were both so excited to be registered for the qualifying rounds. Noris: Reagan, aren't you excited. Reagan: You bet! Noris opened the door to the shop and they both entered. When Tenjii saw Noris, he walked over to him. Tenjii: This must be your friend. What is your name son? Reagan: My name is Reagan sir. Tenjii: Well.... you definetly have more respect than your friend here. Noris: I have an idea..... HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT UP AND REGISTER US ALREADY! Reagan and Tenjii laughed. Noris: What in the hell is so funny this time! Tenjii walked towards the registration counter and Reagan followed him. Noris followed as well. Tenjii: All I need is your names and your age. Reagan: Reagan Sho and I'm 14. Noris: Noris Tyawa and I'm 14. Tenjii wrote the information down and placed it in a file named "Registration". Tenjii: The qualifying rounds will begin 2 days. So........ Reagan do you lilke the "Dark Magician" deck I constructed for you. Reagan: YEAH! IT'S GREAT!! My favorite monster is "Kuriboh"! Reagan's reply was so loud that it left every one who was in the shop deaf for moment. Customer: Hey! How about you keep it down you idiot! Reagan's face flushed with embarrasment. Tenjii chuckled. This annoyed Noris. Noris: Hey! Stop laughing! Tenjii: I'll laugh all I want! See! HAHAHA! Reagan flushed even more. Tenjii noticed this and felt guilty. Norius: SEE! LOOK WHAT YOU DID! Tenjii: Okay, okay. Listen Reagan, how about I teach some tricks with that deck of yours. Reagan's face faded back to normal. Reagan: That would be great. The 2 days past by quickly. During those 2 days Reagan and Noris prepared their decks by taking out cards that didn't help them much and adding cards that did. Qualifying Rounds 2:30 pm A man who had a Johnny Bravo haircut hosted the qualifying rounds. Host: WELLLLLLLLLCOMMMME DUEL FANS! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME NECK BREAKING, HEART STOPPING, DREAM CRUSHING DUELS! Crowd: YEAH!!! The crowds reply boomed all through the stadium. Meanwhile, in the contestant room: Contestant1: Wow, these duels sure do sound dangerous. Contestant2: He was being sarcastic. Contestant1: Oh,.............. What does "sarcastic" mean?............. Reagan: I wonder who our opponents will be. At his final word, the host popped up on the screen for the contestants. Host: ALRIGHT, IT'S TIME FOR THE QUALIFYING ROUNDS TO BEGIN! Behind the host, a huge screen that would tell who would duel who appeared. Crowd: YYEEEEEEAAAAAHHH!! The host pointed at the screen. Host: Each contestant will be paired randomly. NOW WE'LL START THIS TOURNAMENT OFF WITH REAGAN SHO VS. IDALIA CYDEN! On the screen both of the names appeared. Crowd: YYYEEEAAAHHH!!! Noris: Well that's you Reagan. Reagan: Ok, wish me good luck! Noris: You don't need. Reagan miled and walked to the entrance of the stadium. THE END Chapter 3 (Click to View) 2:40 pm Reagan walked through the entrance to find a duel field. Host: NOW ENTERING IS, REAGAN SHO! Crowd: YEAH! The crowd yelled with excitement. Reagan took his side on the field the field and set his dual disk up. Host: APPROACHING THE FIELD NOW IS IDALIA CYDEN!! Crowd: YYEEAAHH!!! Idalia entered the arena. She took her place in the arena. Host: OKAY LET THE DUEL BEGIN.......... Idalia: 8000(5 cards) Reagan: 8000(5 cards) Idalia: I'll start! Draw! First I'll activate the magic card. "Graceful Charity": This card allows me to draw 3 cards and then discard 2! Then I'll activate "Monster Reborn" so I can special summon my "Blue Eyes White Dragon" from the graveyard. First there was a blinding light and then "Blue Eyes White Dragon" flew from the light and landed on Idalia's side of the field. Blue Eyes White Dragon Atk: 3000/LV8 Idalia looked at her hand. Idalia: I'll end my turn by placing 2 face-downs.( magicand/or trap) Idalia: 8000(3 cards) Ragan: 8000(5 cards) Host: WOOOWW!! SHE JUST SUMMONED A BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON IN HER FIRST TURN! WHAT IS REAGAN GONNA DO!!! Crowd: YEEAAHH!!!! Reagan drew a card from his deck. He activated "Dark Magic Curtain": By giving up half of his Life Points, he can summon "Dark Magician". First there was a bright flash then "Dark Magician" was on Reagan's side of the field in attack position. Dark Magician Atk: 2500/LV7 Reagan activated "Dark Magic Attack": Destroy all your opponents magic and trap cards on the field. Idalia's face-down magic and trap were destroyed. Reagan ended his turn with one face-down. Idalia: 8000(3 cards) Reagan: 4000(4 cards) Host: WHAT IS THIS KID THINKING!!! "BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON" CAN OBLITERATE "DARK MAGICIAN"! I GUESS WE'LL JUST HAVE TO SEE WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!! Crowd: YEEAAHH!! Idalia: Draw!...... Reagan's face down flipped up to reveal "Threatening Roar". Reagan: When this card is activated, you can't attack me this turn....... Crowd: YEEAAHH!!! Idalia: So.. that won't stop me from winning! Now I activate "Polymerization" to combine my 3 "Blue Eyes White Dragon" to summon "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon"!!!! Three blue dragons flew high into the air and then there was a bright flash of light. A vigoruos looking dragon with three heads took its place on Idalia's side of the field. Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon: Atk: 4500/LV12 Idalia: I end my turn with one face down.(magic and/or trap) Idalia: 8000(0 cards) Reagan: 8000(4 cards) Host: OH MY GOODNESS!!!! SHE JUST SUMMONED ONE OF THE MOST LEGENDARY MONSTERS IN THE GAME!!! WHAT IS REAGAN GOING TO DO!!!!!!!!?? Reagan prepared to draw. Reagan: Draw. I'll activate "Knight's Title Promo" to summon "Dark Magician Knight". "Dark Magician" started started to glow purple. And then there was a purple flash of light. A purple armored knight replaced "Dark Magician" on the field. Dark Magician Knight: Atk: 2500/LV7 Idalia: Your puny magician isn't strong enough to beat my dragon! Reagan: You want to bet? Idalia: What!?.......................... Reagan: When "Dark Magician Knight" is successfully summoned, I can destroy one card on the field. "Dark Magician Knight" pointed his glowing sword towards "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon". "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon" squirmed and squealed. Idalia: I'll activate the quick spell, "Defusion"!! The squealing dragon split into 3 orbs of blue light. Each blue orb turned into a blue vicious dragon. Blue Eyes White Dragon: Atk: 3000/LV8 Blue Eyes White Dragon: Atk: 3000/LV8 Blue Eyes White Dragon: Atk: 3000/LV8 Reagan: I'll end my turn by placing one card face down. Idalia: 8000(0 cards) Reagan: 4000(3 cards) Host: WHHOAA! AN UNEXPECTED TURN IN THIS DUEL! Crowd: YEEAAHH!! Idalia Draw! I'll activate the magic card "Pot of Greed" Idalia drew 2 cards from her deck. She smirked. Idalia: I'll activate the magic card "Polymerization" to summon my dragon once again. The three dragons combined again. Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon: Atk: 4500/LV12 Host: THE DRAGON IS BACK AGAIN!! Idalia: The I'll tribute him to special summon my pride and joy, "Blue Eyes Shining Dragon"!! The dragon glowed blue. And there was a blue flash of light. The three-headed dragon was replaced by a metallic looking dragon. Idalia: And he gains 300 atk points for every dragon in my graveyard! Blue Eyes Shining Dragon: Atk: 4200/LV10 Host: LOOK AT THAT BEAUTIFUL DRAGON!! Crowd: YEEAAHH!! Idalia: NOW! ATTACK!!! The blue metallic dragon started to glow blue. Then a blue blast shot from the dragon's mouth and targeted the magician. A face down card on Reagan's side of the field flipped up. Reagan: I'll activate "Mirror Force". A mirror appeared before "Dark Magician Knight". The blast shattered the mirror. Idalia: NO CAN DOO!!! WHEN A CARD TARGETS MY DRAGON, I CAN NEGATE IT!!!!! The attack continued and hit the magician. "Dark Magician Knight" shattered into a million pieces. Reagan didn't look worried, although he had lost most of his Life Points. Idalia: I end my turn *There's no way he can beat me now!* Idalia: 8000(0 cards) Reagan: 2300(3 cards) Host: WHHOOAA!!!! HOW IS REAGAN GONNA PULL HIMSELF OUT OF THIS? Crowd: YEEAAHH!!!! The crowd was screaming louder than ever. Reagan: Draw. I activate "Pot of Greed". Reagan drew 2 cards from his deck. Reagan: I'll activate "Polymerization" to combine "Buster Blader" and "Dark Magician" in my hand to summon "Dark Paladin". The magician and the warrior flew high into the air. Then there a bright light. An even more powerful magician with a sword took its place on Reagan's side of the field. Reagan: For every dragon in your graveyard and on the field, he gains 500 atk points. Dark Paladin: Atk 5400/LV8 Idalia: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Host: THIS DUEL JUST TOOK A DRAMATIC TURN!!! Crowd: YEEAAHH!! Reagan: But before I attack. I'll activate "Oozaki" to inflict 800 worth of damage to your life points. Flames circled Idalia. Idalia: Ugh.... Idalia: 7200(0 cards) Reagan: 2300(2 cards) Reagan: "Dark Paladin", attack his dragon. "Dark Paladin" flew over to the dragon and cut it in half. "Blue Eyes Shining Dragon" shattered into a million pieces. Reagan: 2300(1 card) Idalia: 6000(0 cards) Idalia: Noooooooooooo!! Idalia fell to her knees. Reagan: Now I'll activate the quick spell "Defusion". The magician split into its material monsters. Reagan: My "Buster Blader" gains 500 atk points for every dragon in your graveyard and side of the field. Buster Blader Atk: 5100/LV7 Dark Magician Atk: 2500/LV7 Idalia: No, this can't be happening.................... Reagan: Now I'll attack with both of my loyal subjects, making a combined total of 7600. The 2 monsters attacked Idalia and ended the duel. Reagan: 2300(0 cards) Idalia: 0(0 cards) The End |
