RE: Official Pokemon Discussion.
Hippopotas is slow, but that doesn't mean it's not awesome.

RE: Official Pokemon Discussion.
No, you don't grasp it. Hippopotas isn't awesome for owning in battle. Look at the muzzle.
An Impish Hippowdon with Slack Off, Stealth Rock, EQ and Toxic, now that owns in battle. But the muzzle isn't so awesome. |

RE: Official Pokemon Discussion.
Snorlax is a beast but Blissey is better for a Special Wall. If you get a few Curses up however Snorlax becomes a rediculously beefy tank, you better hope he doesn't Rest off any damge he took otherwise you've got a problem.

Especially if it's got the Chesto Berrry, Rest combo.

RE: Official Pokemon Discussion.
Meh Chesto isn't so good, Leftovers is better. You might disagree but the fact is you can't. Leftovers is more reliable recovery and after Chesto is gone you'll wish you had that 1/16th recovery and with a Defensive beast like Snorlax your near enough allways recovering 1/3 of the damage you took.

RE: Official Pokemon Discussion.
You'd be better off just trying to get good at battling before worrying about shinys, a shiny will come along by chance you can't force it. Hell it's supposed to be a 1/8128 chance so there's no way you'll find one when you're looking for one. I've played on my Pearl for 700+ hours and I've maxed out the time on emerald and so far I've found one legitimate shiny, one... and even then it was a crappy Mighteyna.

Supid shiny hunters, at least I can live in peace knowing their IVs will be terrible. The Roselia and Swinub are cool though, you should evolve them.

RE: Official Pokemon Discussion.
How dare you... how dare you... HOW!!... *cough* Mamoswine has one of the most powerful Earthquakes in the game, backed up by a STAB Ice Shard, makes Mamoswine an impressive physical attacker. It's also the only Ice-type to avoid taking damage from Sandstorm with neutrality to Stealth Rock and Stone Edge, which counts for something. Once you get it in (which admitadely can be hard), its brutal attack power means your opponent will have to predict perfectly to avoid taking a lot of damage, especially from the Choice Band set.
