Yeah, it just happened to me again too. How can the server say there to many connections when there's not a lot of people online at this hour?

It's because of a small error that happened, i don't like it because i wanted to go on but it was broken.

I didn't get the error much, but I'm glad that it's going to be limited now. Must be all the new members using the Card Maker to make Overpowered Dragon Cards, Razz

those errors were annoying especially when i was in the middle of making cards and couldnt save it due to the errors

Okay everyone, just a few notices. I'm familar with MySQL and it's errors being a Webmaster myself.

When you get the error, please for the love of God don't do what most people do and keep trying to refresh it. This only puts even more strain on the server and it's much more likely to stay down for longer if you continue to do that. Just leave it, go and do something else while you're waiting; YCM can't be that important to you.

I spent some more time tweaking the database config - I'm trying my best to eliminate these mysql connection errors so let me know here if and when you get one.

I just got one about a few minutes ago, but it was shorter than usual and they haven't been happening as much, so kudos to you buddy.

Those may have been caused by the mysql restarts I have to do every time the config is edited.

oh. Is this a problem with your host? If so, have you thought of switching hosts? I hear that Ryan from MyBB tried to help you out with that

It's not a problem, it's just the way MySQL works. The configuration changes don't take effect until the MySQL is restarted.
