New Archetype: Union + Tuners
Sorry about the title. I couldn't think of another name for it. Anyways, I'm about to show you how Union monsters and Tuner monster combine their abilities.

This set is now finished. Let me know how you like the idea. Until then, KEEP ON DUELING!!

RE: New Archetype: Union + Tuners
hmmm... they look like they could fit any deck, that focuses on Synchro summoning and stuff. And I kinda dig Union monsters, I played with a VWXYZ deck for a very long time.

I'd really love it if you'd make some synchro monsters that match the strategy of these, or even fusions of these union monsters, with some effects that would give these cards repeatability (like special summoning them back on the field)

And I got this idea, use it if you'd wish:

Union Gunner (* * * *) EARTH
Machine/Effect --- ATK ? DEF 1500
This card can be equipped with several Union Monsters. Increase the ATK of this card by 500 for each Union Monster equipped. If this card would be destroyed, you may destroy a Union Monster equipped to this card instead.

RE: New Archetype: Union + Tuners
Cool idea, EnkoMaun. But with what you said about making Synchro Monsters that fit the strategy, that I can't. I mean I know Armory Arm is a Union Monster, but I can't think of any Synchro Monsters that might help me in this kind of strategy.

RE: New Archetype: Union + Tuners
Cool idea. There is one important detail you missed: the other abilities associated with union. Those abilities are "(A monster can be equipped with one union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)" Otherwise, these cards are pseudo-Unions, like Armory Arm. Then you could just make the subtype Tuner. Overall, good idea, but the subtypes don't seem to mix well together. Nice try though.

RE: New Archetype: Union + Tuners
Mixing unions with tuners is a horrible idea. You only need the tuners on the field. That's it. No sense of equipping if you're going to send in a Synchro monster.

RE: New Archetype: Union + Tuners
Neat idea, but i think it may bring up an issue. If a union monster causes its host to be a tuner, is the union considered in the number of levels?
