New Archetype: Shadow Beasts
I was bored yet again, so this idea just popped in my head.
Monsters (Click to View) Spells (Click to View) Traps (Click to View) So far this is all I have right now. Credit for "Dark Tuner Shadow Beast - Dark Wasp", "Shadow Beast - Ravenous Shark", and "Shadow Change" goes to Mystery Guest Credit for "Shadow Beast Malice Monkey" goes to goldenboy820. Anyways, KEEP ON DUELING!! |

RE: New Archetype: Shadow Beasts
Why exactly is Nocturnal Tiger placing Counters? No other cards in the set seem to use them, not even Tiger itself.

RE: New Archetype: Shadow Beasts
I have a few I suppose:
Dark Tuner Shadow Beast - Dark Wasp DARK / Level 9 [Insect / Dark Tuner] ATK 0 DEF 0 If this card is used for the Dark Synchro Summon of a Dark Synchro Monster, special summon a Level 4 or lower DARK monster from your Graveyard. Shadow Beast - Ravenous Shark DARK / Level -6 [Fish / Dark Synchro / Effect] ATK 2550 DEF 1400 This card cannot be Special Summoned except by a Dark Synchro Summon or by the effect of a "Shadow Beast" monster. Once per turn, you can destroy 2 monsters on the field. If you activate this effect, this monster cannot attack and it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. If this card is sent to the graveyard by its own effect, special summon a "Shadow Beast" monster in your Graveyard. Shadow Change [Spell] Send a "Shadow Beast" you control to the Graveyard (it is treated as being sent to the Graveyard by its own effect). As for the cards you have so far, I would like to say a few things: Shadow Beast - Silent Snake: If it negates the "send to the graveyard" effects of Shadow Beasts, how will it send itself to the Graveyard? Here are some questions on all the Shadow Beasts: -Can they Special Summon themselves back onto the battlefield? That's how they are worded. -Are their Once per turn effects mandatory? I really don't have much more to say except "Good job, 8/10". |

RE: New Archetype: Shadow Beasts
I hav a few cardz if you like.
Shadow beast malice monkey Level 3 DARK beast/effect Once per turn, you can discard 1 Shadow beast monster to draw 2 cards. This card cannot attack the turn it's effect is activated. During the end phase, send this card to the graveyard if you activated it's effect. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by it's own effect, special summon 1 shadow beast monster with a different name from your graveyard. ATK 1200 DEF 1400 I can really help u out with these cards, DARK monsters are my specialty. |

You missed some info. Let me re-write it: Dark Teacher DARK Level 4 [Spellcaster / Effect] ATK 1000 DEF 1500 Your opponent cannot select another monster you control as an attack target. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can add a DARK monster from your deck to your hand. From the way I see it, quite overpowered. I figured it would be DARK because of its DARK attribute theme, and I put Spellcaster in because it seemed like an appropriate type for a teacher. |

Sorry I couldn't post your card on my thread, goldenboy, but my computer back here is kind of messed up because of this virus that someone made. If you're wondering how I'm sending you this reply, I'm using my sister's laptop, but I have to get off soon before the virus infects this computer, too. Anyways, your idea is good and I'll rep you as soon as the computer here gets fixed. (That means someday) Anyways, keep on dueling, goldenboy. |

RE: New Archetype: Shadow Beasts
These cards are alright. However, the Shadow Beasts could just Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard because they are in the Graveyard by the time their last effect activates. You may want to change them to say 'Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster with a different name from your Graveyard.' Also, what are the purpose of the counters given off by Nocturnal Tiger? Other than that these cards are great. I can't wait to see more.

Look under trap cards and look at the second trap card on the list. Then you'll understand why Nocturnal Tiger gives off counters. |
