Sub-Type X (53+ Supporters)
I just noticed an annoying thing while creating a new card. If you plan on creating a sub-type that doesn't already exist on an effect monster you get: "*type* / *new sub-type* / Effect" which cripples the overall realism in the card. I suggest that there be a new option while selecting what kind of monster card you want to make. Sub-Type X. It makes your card Orange like an effect, but the effect part isn't added. Instead, a bar below has an area to write in what you want to go in that spot instead of effect.

So, before:

[Warrior / Marshmallow / Effect]

After:

[Warrior / Marshmallow]

Just a little suggestion that'd make these cards more realistic.

Also, a little post from OMG that addresses many things people keep repeating.

I could make my card entirely in photoshop, but thats a pain in the ass. Thus, I use the card maker. Same principle.

Plus, if this site were 100% about realism, it wouldn't have the Pop culture and Other subforums.

I support.

i don't support, this site was supposed to be used to create realistic cards, adding custom sub-types would be pointless,if you really want to make custom ones, just follow j-max's tut

RE: Sub-Type X
you know, there is a tut where you can copy the properties of the card, put it into a word document, find the part of the code where it says the subtype, then add in your own word, the place it in the url of your web browser, and when you hit enter it has that subtype without the /Effect on it.

find it...?

it should be in tuts.

New sub-types aren't unrealistic. New ones are implemented at various points, so they're just as subjective as archetypes.

the cardmaker was supposed to replicate cards as best as possible and unless your card's subtype is real, then it isn't realistic. And i already said you can just use J-max's tut

You don't get it, sub-types are allowed to be freely created just as a name and card effect can be made. As long as you follow the proper mechanic of giving them a cohesive ability and all that stuff, they're realistic. And I shouldn't have to use editors outside of a card maker to make my card.

But if you can't figure it out then there should be a feature. I support.

I do not support, as long as you have notebook, you can easily follow J-max's, or JD's tut.
