Mystery guest supports, even though there is another way of doing this.

That's why there is no option to that. The cardmaker already has all the subtypes from the game. If you really want to make custom subtypes, work for it (type, whatever). It's not that hard. |

RE: Sub-Type X
It gets annoying when you have to repeatedly do that, it does take up too much time IMO, and fixing this wouldn't take too much time.

RE: Sub-Type X
I think its a good idea. Sure, there are other ways to do it, but by that same value, there are other ways to make an entire card >_>
I could make my card entirely in photoshop, but thats a pain in the ass. Thus, I use the card maker. Same principle. Plus, if this site were 100% about realism, it wouldn't have the Pop culture and Other subforums. I support. |

RE: Sub-Type X
I can see why you would want the ability to make a user-friendly sub-type creator, but have you ever considered that YCMaker has already overhauled the Card Creator code at least 3 times. Doing this would mean a TON of code working and a complete remodeling of the card maker. BTW I do not support...

And have you considered how much money YCMaker makes off of this site? He owes us a bit. |

For the pull down tab of the subtypes, YCMaker could just add an option called "blank". where it keeps it as an Effect monster, but allows for origionality. |

RE: Sub-Type X
(06-25-2009 12:44 PM)Corporal Atlas Wrote: I just noticed an annoying thing while creating a new card. If you plan on creating a sub-type that doesn't already exist on an effect monster you get: "*type* / *new sub-type* / Effect" which cripples the overall realism in the card. I suggest that there be a new option while selecting what kind of monster card you want to make. Sub-Type X. It makes your card Orange like an effect, but the effect part isn't added. Instead, a bar below has an area to write in what you want to go in that spot instead of effect. No point. Read J-Max's Custom Subtype Tutorial, it's really easy to understand. No support. |

No support.
Some of you people need to stop being lazy, cause that's mah job >=O Even though YCMaker owes us because he makes money of this site, while he probably sits on his ass watching some TV, doing this wouldn't do much for the site would it now? |

RE: Sub-Type X
I really don't see how an alternative method that is much slower and tedious invalidates the addition of a new system that will benefit many. As OMG said, there are different ways to do everything on the card maker.
And I still find the whole "too unrealistic" argument laughable. You're allowed to create whatever type you want, but not sub-type?… |
