You're referring to the fact that Ccapac Apu's Flame Wingman effect is near useless, right? It has about as many uses as Cusillu's effect. After all, Ccapac Apu can destroy an Attack Position monster AND inflict 3000 damage in one attack, rather than just attack directly for 3000.
Cusilu's effect is just lame. It's only good for suiciding into a big monster and draining the opponent's Life by half but that effect is only useful once in an average duel.

And it's only usefull when your opponent has more than 5600 LP (or direct ATK will deal more damage) And even then not very usefull.
