The Speed Gamers
Their a group of gamers that, as you can guess, play though games as fast as possible. While they do their speed run they have a commentator to make it more enjoyable. Their is more too. They also run donations. You donate money and they give it to different groups. They've done this many times, for many different franchises which include Zelda and Mother. Right now their doing a 2 day marathon of RE. The money is going to The Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation. Also this time around they are getting backed by THE Capcom. So check it out if you have nothing to do and if you want donate money. If it's nothing else it is fun to watch.

So here is the link

And while your at it talk about this idea, and what you think of it.

I've never really watch till now, but I'm really enjoying it.

Also the commentary might get PG13 rated or MAYBE higher, so I'm going to say now don't blame me. (I REALLY don't think it will, but I'm just saying this so I don't get in trouble).

for all those that want numbers here
TheSpeedGamers have been streaming video game marathons for over a year to raise money for various charities. In total they have raised over $90,000 dollars and played 13 marathons.

TheSpeedGamers are based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, but have members from around the world.

RE: The Speed Gamers
An interesting idea, although most RPGs are really easy to breeze through after you've played them a couple of times. Good for them, using video games to raise charity.

It's not just RPGs. They've done Metroid and Halo.

Yea, the charity thing is really cool, plus they're funny.

Also, I might sticky this since this is for a good cause and it's funny. Any one against this idea?

RE: The Speed Gamers
The speed gamers are doing another maration. This one will be short (48 hours) but it should be just as good. Hell, he could be one of the tbest with the CAPCOM backing them and giving them some prizes to give away.

We're a bit more then 2 hours in so check it out and give some money if you can. FYI, the money this time is going to The Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation.
