That statement is true. Some normal monster are hated because they fusion or go with cards that people really like. Another example is the Exodia pieces which are normal expect for the head and can summon Necross. He also goes so well with other cards.

It is just dangerous to make vanillas here...

Like my sig says, I stand up for those who make them. There should be something like a Vanilla Defense League, to stand up for the members who make vanillas. Their cards are always flamed because they are vanilla. I don't like that. By rewarding them, and by standing up for them, I hope that people create more vanillas.

Should we help too Icy? I mean since you are busy and it look like you need a helping hand. I sure anyone of us will glad to help you make a set of normal cards or just a few that can be combine in a set.

Its not so much that... if I wanted a set done, like that... I'd make a contest or something.
The set I make has to follow my own guidelines, while leaving breathing and learning room for each person to make their own unique thing; without following this strictly.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong though. Your gesture is very much appreciated. I nearly cried.

oh thx for explaining this. i used to get told a lot to remove the vanillas from my mini card sets i did. lol. i almost started a set of pure Vanillas myself but only got around to making 1 or 2 cards lol.
