Fury in the Fields

Diamond in the Rough 5 is here! This is a Realistic card contest. Entrants will be required to make at least 2 cards and no more than 4 cards. Each entrant will choose a Field Spell from the TCG (no anime- or Japanese-only cards) and make 2-4 cards that support the chosen card. Created cards can be Monsters, Spells, and/or Traps and must in some way support or be supported by the chosen Field Spell.

Also, I love new ideas, they are the basis for these contests. As a result, no previously constructed ideas will be allowed to be used in this contest. I want to see what new things you guys can come up with. ^_^


BONUS: During judging I will award bonus points to entries that have one or more of the following:
  • ATK and/or DEF with a 5 in it (1500, 500, etc.)
  • The number 5 in the effect (500 Life Points damage/heal, 500 ATK/DEF increase/decrease, 5 Counters, etc.)
  • Creativity beyond the requirements.

Summary of Entrant Duties:
-Make 2-4 Cards
-If you make monsters, they cannot be Dark Synchro, Dark Tuner, or Divine Beast-Type monsters.
-Cards must be balanced, and fit the theme
-Artist Credit must be given for images used on card(s)
-Entries are due by 8pm forum time on Sunday October 11th 2009

-Username
-Field Spell you are making support for
-Estimated # of cards you will be making (you can always decide later to make more or less)

Judges:
-Myself (Darth Browarod)
-1 or more Mystery Judges

Grading Categories:
-Name/Pic
-Uniqueness and flow of effect
-Balance
-Spelling/Grammar (OCG)
-Meets the requirements (support for selected Field Spell)

Prizes:
1st Place: 2 +Reps, 3000 points!
2nd Place: 1 +Rep, 2500 points!
3rd Place: 1 +Rep, 2000 points!
4th Place: 1 +Rep, 1500 points!
5th Place: 1 +Rep, 1000 points!

NOTE: Points/reps will be added to the respective winners' accounts after the results are posted.

I wouldn't recommend it, due to the card being banned; thus the cards become relatively unplayable.
