RE: The Black Knight vs. Darth Vader
You do realize that the Black Knight has the some effect that cancels people's skills. Therefore force=useless.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-

The only reason Black Knight wins, is because of his armor and weapon.

His weapon can attack short-long range, while his armor cancels out magic, special abilities, etc.

Not to mention he can kill a goddess.

This would be so much easier if we did this Deadliest Warrior style. Which involves running test battles over 9000 times... -gets shot-

Who said Darth had to attack him directly, anyways? He could bring a couple Stormtroopers, have them attack, die, then use their corpses Force Unleashed style and just throw them at the Black Knight while he slowly walks towards the BK, and drives his lightsaber through the BK's throat.

Not to mention he can kill a goddess. She was a weak b**** anyways.

I don't care how f***ing magical BK's armor and sword is, he's a goddamn medieval character. His tech is not sufficient to combat in the SW universe.

RE: The Black Knight vs. Darth Vader
He can shoot sonic waves from his sword, he could kill Darth Vader from a couple dozen yards away. Darth can attack from afar with the force, but still, he's not the only one with long range attacks. Not only was his sword blessed by the Goddess, it was forged by the other Goddess, a lightsaber would have an incredibly hard time cutting through it. Plus, the Black Knight has can teleport. Darth Vader can't teleport.

And I didn't mean Darth Vader bringing in the Death Star or his Clone Trooper army or anything like that. If that was the case, BK could bring in Begnion's and Daein's entire armies (being the General of two countries' armies) and his buddy Sephiran who could blow up the Death Star with his magic.

Because armor + swords < lasers amirite?

There is no accurate way to compare the effects of medieval magic on technology/the force. One could argue that using the force, DV could counteract any sort of magical assault.

So having the protection of a goddess doesn't count for anything?

f***.

There's no way to match power between a goddess and future technology :/

RE: The Black Knight vs. Darth Vader
I think that the divine powers and technilogical advancements are on kind of a level playing field.

Everyone in this arguement does know who the Black Knight is, right? You've played Radiant Dawn and been drunk on his immense power? I don't want you guys who are against him against him just because he's from medieval times.

I'm pretty sure you all know who Darth Vader is, he's a little more well known.

Eh he. I haven't played RD (no GC, dammit). But I get the general gist of his character. Problem being, "immense power" in a medieval setting does not necessarily transfer when put into a highly technological fight...

To put it simply, he's godmodded on a whole level.

Nothing hurts him, save for weapons blessed by Ashera(goddess). And he can pretty much slaughter anyone. =/

Again, that's nothing when the tech hasn't advanced past steel weapons (or silver, if you really want to go by FE standards...). And that's him slaughtering anyone when the best combat vehicles they have are dudes on horses.

Lasers and battleships are considerably more powerful than swords.

Yes, but he's protected.

By a goddess.

That's the only thing that allows him to win, if a goddess protects him, he can swat away lasers and other weaponry with ease.

Really, because he was crushed by a castle and survived. No Darth Vader can do that shiz and live. (Well, based on how far I got into both stories...)

RE: The Black Knight vs. Darth Vader
You assume that the goddess actually had enough power to protect him from an ion cannon...

And since Vader kind of lurks on ships, it would be assumed that the battle would take place on a ship. In which case...LOLAIRLOCK.
Bye BK, enjoy your stay in the cold infinity of space. If Vader doesn't order the ships cannons to lock and fire, that is.

But that's not the point. It's Darth Vader alone, he has no ships with him.

You're not seeing my point.

The goddess would simply go,

'lolioncannons' and reflect them or such.

Also, if Vader's bringing in his armory then, enjoy being turned to stone. =D
