The reason I disliked Pirate vs Knight was because of how much of a freaking huge deal they made out of the morningstar during the "testing" stage of the show, and then during the "fight", they not only replaced the tested weapon with a different one, but then proceeded to have the knight hit the unarmored pirate with it at least 3 times, with no ill results toward the pirate.

The most epic fights I loved:
Spartan vs. Ninja (thought Ninja was gonna win because of tactics but I was wrong =[)
Samurai vs Viking (I knew the Japanese samurai would win due it's purely warrior tradition)
Gladiator vs Apache (my god that apache just has TOO many knifes that he brings with him)
Shaka Zulu vs William Wallace (what a terrible choice for a fight but it was great to watch)

Ahh people fighting with the most odd weapons is all fun and games.
my fav episode is the one with the American mobsters vs. the Japanese mobsters.
