Tuner/Effect
Well, you see I tried to make a Tuner/Effect monster, but I couldn't have both, so it would be great if you could do that. Thank you.

RE: Tuner/Effect
A Tuner monster in itself is already a Normal or an Effect Monster.

What we DO need though, is a Normal Tuner Monster. One with the original Vanilla background.

But that's not in a rush yet; they've been only introduced in the OCG so far.

I agree with Strawberry on this one.

Doesn't the TCG also have these? =/ I'm almost 100% sure

RE: Tuner/Effect
Erm...it's very easy to do it. Have it set to Effect Monster and for the type write...

"Type Name / Tuner"

Quite simple.

I can see the last time you ever touched the Card Maker was like a year ago.

Effect Tuners have already been added. Now the Card Maker's only missing Normal Tuners.

;D.

RE: Tuner/Effect
You can do the same with a normal monster as an effect monster, it is simple, just like SushiTheLegend said.

Choose Normal and in the bar below, just put in

Type Here / Tuner

and if you want it's color changed, than use a program. that is all the better I can do it.

Is that what you're asking for?

If so, just type this into the Type bar:

Type / Tuner

It'll display it as

Type / Tuner / Effect

Although that isn't realistic as real cards don't do that

RE: Tuner/Effect
The regular Tuner option with an orange background is considered an Effect Monster. So, if you want to make an Effect Tuner, all you need to do is select the "Tuner" option and then just type in the effect you want the monster to have in the Description box. That's all you need to do for an Effect Tuner.

As for the Normal Tuner option, you guys are really overcomplicating things too much. All you need to do to get a Normal Tuner Monster is this:
"Type Name / Tuner"
That's all. There is no need to make a Normal Tuner option because it can be easily done with the Normal option that we already have.

RE: Tuner/Effect
Ya, but it's a good idea to simply make the normal Tuners, cause going through that trouble is a pain. If people mess up on it only slightly when committing to creating that, they're going to get criticized. No it isn't hard, but it will make it easier for a lot of people.

Do you understand it now? Or do you still not understand? If not, look below:

Do you see a " / Effect" anywhere? No. Effect Tuners do not have the "/ Effect" with it.

RE: Tuner/Effect
Exactly. And as for Normal Tuner Monsters...

Need I say more? There is no need for a separate Normal Tuner selection. It can easily be done using the regular Normal Monster template. A separate template would just be a waste of code and the programmer's time.

RE: Tuner/Effect
Mia I know this, but read what he said in the first post lol.

"Well, you see I tried to make a Tuner/Effect monster, but I couldn't have both, so it would be great if you could do that. Thank you."

This is what happens when you aren't clear. But if he did mean an effect monster that has Tuner instead of Effect, you can do that by copying the image URL of the card and editing Effect to Tuner. Below is an example of what I mean.

Code:
http://www.yugiohcardmaker.net/ycmaker/createcard.php?name=Lonely%20Forest%20Spirit&cardtype=Monster&subtype=Tuner&attribute=Earth&level=6&magictraptype=None&rarity=Secret%20Rare&picture=http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee80/Basic-Thuganomics/CardImages/LonelyForestSpiritImage.png&set1=RNDST&set2=EN012&inset=true&type=Machine&description=This%20card%20can%20only%20be%20Tribute%20Summoned%20by%20Tributing%20a%20Plant-Type%20monster.%20Once%20per%20turn%2C%20you%20can%20add%201%20level%204%20or%20lower%20Plant-Type%20monster%20from%20your%20Graveyard%20and%20add%20it%20to%20your%20hand.%20If%20your%20opponent%20declares%20an%20attack%20and%20you%20control%20no%20monsters%20while%20this%20card%20is%20in%20your%20Graveyard%2C%20you%20can%20remove%20this%20card%20from%20play%20to%20Special%20Summon%201%20Plant-Type%20monster%20from%20your%20hand%20regardless%20of%20it%27s%20summoning%20requirements.%20A%20monster%20Summoned%20in%20this%20way%20is%20not%20destroyed%20by%20battle%20and%20is%20removed%20from%20play%20when%20it%20is%20removed%20from%20the%20field.&circulation=&atk=1700&def=1100&creator=UNKNOWN&year=2009&serial=86098262

Simply going to subtype= and changing "effect" to "Tuner" will give the desired result, copy and paste the above into a browser to see. Then again, that applies to creatitng your own types, but since we have a "Tuner" selection it begs the question of why this thread then?
