Yugioh JE: Dragon Gods Wrath

Disclaimer: This is a rough Chapter aka "Duel" one. Each "Duel" will be roughly about a Manga chapter in length, but the story will vary in length based on how things go and/or what I wanna do. Please critique it as I've never written a Yugioh Fanfic before. Your opinions and critique will help me to know what to do for the rest of this fic, so please do help with your input. Furthermore, I may mix some 4kids dub/english card names with Japanese ones and vice versa. Please just live with that. Just try not to be too harsh as it IS a rather rough first chapter, but I need to know how to do this properly. Thanks.

Duel 1: James vs Tyson Part 1

It was morning and 16 year old James couldn't wait. James had long Brown hair and Blue Eyes that would sometimes change a hazelish green. He had a long nights rest and now he would be going to the big opening of the new Yugioh Card Store. His town sold Yugioh Cards sure, but now the store of nothing but Yugioh Cards was to open, and not just that, but it would be the first store in America to release the all new Starter Set! The difference with this starter set and the others was, every starter set would have 8 randomly set cards. They could be anything, however ever set contained a nineth card, and this nineth card would always be a brand new card that would be later introduced in 5 months to anywhere else by Industrail Illusions. Not even Domino City in Japan had these cards yet! The reason for this was that Yugi Muto and Jonouchi "Joey" had vanished. Thus, someone was needed to represent the next big duelist and in Japan, they didn't have one. Kaiba was too busy running his Duel Acadamy plans. Rumor had it that a Student named Judai had shown promise, and that he even Dueled the king of games Yugi himself, though Judai himself vanished sometime after. The next big Pro Duelist was an American Duelist named Michael. He was winning duels left and right and was currently undefeated. He even had won the American Championships, and is now ranked number one duelist in America. The reason this wa a big deal was, he was from the same hometown as James, so this was why the Card Store was placed here! Sure it's advertising, but new cards are new cards, and he was excited.

James made his way inside when he bumped into someone. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" it was kid his age. The kid had short Black Hair and was built skinny, just like him. James,"Oh jee nice to see you too Tyson." Tyson was a fellow classmate from back when James was in school. It was summer at the moment though. Tyson was only a few days younger than James but the guy really didn't like to lose. So far Tyson and James had had alot of evenly matched Duels, but hopefully this time James could break that tie they kept having. The Store Clerk saw James walk in. He laughed,"Sorry James, but we're all out of Booster Packs." James,"Where is everybody? Wasn't this place just opened? How could you be out?" The Clerk laughed," You must've forgotten last night was day light savings time!" James sighed,"Aw man.." The Clerk Laughed," Don't worry kid, I like you, so here..I saved 4 Booster Packs just for you. You still have to buy it of course." James grinned,"You're the best! Don't worry, you will not regret it!" Tyson growled, "thats no fair!" James bought them. James shrugged,"I can't help it. Here have one of them." He handed it to Tyson. Tyson looked at it and opened it. Tyson,"This'll have to do. Okay well.James, I challenge you to a duel! But lets make it more interesting. Lets each start with eight thousand life points this time! Also, you can't attack with any monsters you just summoned and you can only place and/or use one spell or trap a turn!" James nodded," I accept. Lets Duel!" Tyson nodded," This time you won't win. By the way..this is almost as funny as when I slept with your mom last night!" James laughed," that joke is so old..ladies first." Tyson growled,"You'll regret that! Ok lets Duel!" They got out their Duel Discs, which were designed to attach to the arm to help in this card game called Duel Monsters, which was what this whole thing had been about.

Tyson says,"grr, you'll regret that. I summon Spear Dragon in attack mode and I put one card face down." A Blue Dragon with a long nose appeared into the Duel Disc. It had 1900 Attack and 0 Defense.

James laughed,"I summon Mirage Dragon in attack mode and I throw down 2 face downs." A Dragon with Green Skin and smoke around it appeared as two cards went face down. It had 1600 Attack and 600 defense. Tyson grinned,"Heh idiot. Spear Dragon, attack his Mirage Dragon." James retorted ,"Ha, you activated my trap card, Attacker No more. Your attacks this turn equal zero." Tyson,"Grr. I'll summon Babycerassaurus, put a card face down and end my turn." A small dinosaur in an egg was placed down. It had 500 Attack and 500 Defense.

James nodded,"Alright, I summon Masked Dragon in attack mode and attack your Babycerasasurus with Mirage Dragon and I go ahead and end my turn." A white Dragon wearing a mask was placed on his field. It had 1400 Attack and 1100 Defense.
Tyson," I summon Dark Blade in Attack mode.Now, Spear Dragon, attack Mirage Dragon!" A Bladed Warrior with Black-ish Blue Armor was on the field now. It had 1800 Attack and 1500 Defense.

James shrugged,"I throw down a face down, and thats it." Tyson,"Thats it? I summon Lord of D. Now Dark Blade attack masked Dragon!" Lord of D. is a spellcaster that helps Dragon cards. It has 1200 Attack and 1100 Defense. James pointed at Tyson dramaticly,"You just activated Masked Dragon's effect, now I can summon one Dragon with 1500 or less ATK points, and I summon Seperant Dragon of the Swamp!"
(1500 ATK, 800 Defense. This card cannot be attacked for one turn.)
Tyson," Fine, I put one card face down and end my turn."

James," I summon Magna Drago in Attack mode and end my turn." A Dragon Came onto the field with Fire surrounding it. It had 1400 Attack and 600 Defense. Tyson," I attack Magna Drago with Spear Dragon and summon Luster Dragon in ATK mode and end my turn." Lust Dragon was a very shiney Dragon of a blue-ish color that had 1900 Attack and 1600 Defense.
James laughed,"Good thing, because I use my Serpant Dragon of the Swamp's second effect which alllows me to summon Red Eyes Black Chick, then I use the spell card No remorse for the dead to defend Red Eyes Black Chick for 4 turns and I end my turn."A baby Black Dragon with Red Eyes was placed. It had 800 Attack and 500 Defense. Tyson," I sacrfice Spear Dragon and Lord of D. to Special Summon Turtle Bird in Attack mode and end my turn." A well, turtle based bird was placed. 1900 Attack and 1700 Defense, it had. Tyson,"I'm going to place one card face down, then I use call of the haunted to summon back Mirage Dragon and end this turn." Tyson," I attack Mirage Dragon with my Turtle Bird. Now I attack Serpant Dragon of the Swamp with Dark Blade and end my turn."

James,"I summon Roth Man in attack mode and end my turn"
(Roth man has 1900 ATK however is only a level 4)
Tyson," I sacrfice Turtle Bird to summon White-horned Dragon in attack mode, but thats not all. This spell I activate gives it 100 more attack! A large Red Dragon with a white horn appeared! James was surprised," What do I do now?
