Some of you might think the PS2 is outdated, but believe me it's more in it's prime than you may think. So I dedicate this thread to the discussion of PS2 Gaming and all the great games on the PS2, the first topic being...what are your all time favourite PS2 games you would recommend?

I have the slim PS2. I like playing Gradius V, Sonic Mega Collection, Twisted Metal, Spyro, Final Fantasy. Sadly my PS2 can't read Capcom vs SNK 2/Marvel vs Capcom 2. I need an action replay to skip that red screen. I forgot I have all those Ratchet & Clank games. Those were addictive during it's time.

I have a PS2. It has my favorite games on it. Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Starwars BF2, Sonic Heroes, and others.

So need to get Shadow of the Colossus and some other amazing exclusives I never seem to get my hands on =\

I hated Shadow of the Colossus for being too hard to figure out ><...

And I'm not the type of person that resorts to using cheats or walkthroughs to get by, either =.=...

I keep getting lost in the field right at the start of the game... I still haven't figured it out.

Awesome guy is awesome.

I recommend Burnout 3: Takedown.

It's a racing game for those who hate racing games.
Like me, I hate all that NFS crap, but stick a controller in my hand and B3:T in the PS2 and I become a grinning, laughing maniac as I destroy all in my path, and often myself, just to get to the ddamn finish line.


Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: gateway to Glimmer/Ripto's Rage, and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon was one of the best trilogies of all time. Too bad they never made more...

Currently I'm getting .Hack//Infection and am gonna try and get Mutation, Outbreak, and Qurantine, Mia has also suggested I play Star Ocean.
