My try at DAD

As the name suggests, I had a plant deck incorporating DAD, but I'm trying to make a build that focuses mainly on him:

Total=40

Monsters=18

2x Lonfire
3x Gigaplant
1x Tytannial
1x DAD
1x Sangan
1x Snipe Hunter
2x Cannon Soldier
3x Mystic Tomato
1x Exiled Force
1x Card Trooper
1x Marshy
1x Morphing Jar

Spells=14

1x Card Destruction
3x Hand Destruction
2x Allure
1x Gold Sarco
2x Miracle Fertilizer
1x Lightning Vortex
1x PoA
1x SorL
1x Heavy
1x MST

Traps=8

2x Bottomless
2x Bribe
1x Call
1x Transmigration Prophecy
1x Torrential
1x Mirror Force

It's pretty much Giga swarm (just get 3 gigas out) and DAD for the field clean up and ATK. Works well, though I don't have much competition (my friends) so any advice / suggestions is appreciated.

I originally ran Tytannial, but it slowed the deck down a bit, and was a terrible draw, first turn, anyway, but it would make for a great beatstick... Cannon Soldier's in for the DAD and allures, and he's a target for Mystic Tomato, so I can't lose him because the deck would only have 5 darks to run on... Putting in what you suggested is making it too planty, which is what I was trying to avoid.

I'll test and make changes accordingly...

Also, what's LV?

Fair enough. but Dandy is useful... you can use solider to tribute it for the lolz.

Surely there exists better cards than cannon soldier though? Like Spirit reaper or even krebons?

You misunderstand the process of Cannon Soldier though. He is meant to Tribute monsters, not just to damage the opponent, but to quickly put those 3 DARK monsters in the Graveyard. After this has been achieved, he can easily throw out DAD, blow 3 of his opponents cards, then strike for a heavy attack.
Cannon Soldier -> 3 -> 1500
Cannon Soldier + DAD -> 4200 (I think.)
= 5700. (Another attack from either, more preferably DAD, ends the Duel, or if they block it, strike with Cannon Soldier, then Double Tribute for game.)
Revive some of those plants, and if DAD is off the field, you still have the Plant-Type Offense of revival. HAIL GIGAPLANT!!!
(Sure my method of this Deck may be far different from his, but I'm making a process here that I'm considering.)

Nope, you pretty much got it down, dude! That's why I love cannon soldier. Since the opponent will eventually figure out what's going on, they probably wont attack the mystics, so Cannon Soldier is a good way to make sure you get the darks you need in the grave.

Wow, I normally don't get the aspects of Decks, but it looks like I was right. I used to used Cannon Soldier MK-2, but he ended up being a dead draw unless I actually had 3 DARK's on the field. I'd normally Tribute a DARK, Tribute the other two, then, after I've inflicted 1500, I would Summon DAD, (When I had him) destroy the cards on my opponents field, cause normally they had no more than 3. After doing so, I could attack directly with those two. 6500-4700= 1800. If I could find something to put that extra 300 in there, (I.E. Dark Room of Nightmare), that's an instant kill. =D It requires to much process though. <.< You found a good way to even it out.

I usually run two myself with plants, because it's such an easy to summon beatstick with an effect that's not half bad. I don't see why not. ;D
