Fortress is an overagressive type-killer and Overdragon is an atleast 1-card rampaging OTK.

Both are extremely broken and both should be banned.

Too bad lolnami thinks otherwise.

Overdragon is fine. In almost all cases you have to Overextend to summon it.

Both are EPIN. Both may actually get Listed once TCG gets CyDra Zwei.

I feel that Fortress needs a ban, for what I hope is an obvious reason, and that the other guy might as well be banned since he's only ever actually used in an OTK style.

Fortress Dragon makes Machine-Type Decks unplayable.

Here's a scenario, don't worry if step 2 is realistic:
* The new structure Deck is released
* The support in it is enough to make Machines a meta Deck
* People run Fortress Dragon and main/side Cyber Dragon and side Cyber Zwei.
* Machines aren't a meta Deck anymore because summoning Machines results in giving your OPPONENT a huge beatstick and losing all your monsters.

As long as Fortress exists, Machines cannot play at a high level.

these cards are damn near impossible to summon because cyber dragon is limited. i'm not sure, but overload fusion is the only card that can really summon overdragon, so if someone can get it on the field, that basically deserve to have that OTK. With fortress, it's almost equally as hard to get on the field, and there are stonger cards these days.

This is why Fortress Dragon is considered a 'Staple'

The only "requirment" for Fortress is to save some space in your extra deck.

As for Overdragon you just need to use Future Fusion and Overload Fusion and you just got a huge beatstick so that is hardly a requirment. And yes, both of those are limited, but it doesn't change that fact that the problem card here is Overdragon.

Both should be banned, it's that simple.
