cats ear tribe+kinshido spirit (<--spell check that)

if your opponent attacks your cat...
itll cancel out their monster and your cats will survive..
however...
it only works with cats..

I thought Grave Keepers servant+dimensional fissure didn't work as your opponent isn't sure if the top card will be removed as it could be a spell or trap, can't they still attack making the top card irrelavent as they already attacked, like threating roar when played in responce to an attack?
