"Featured" Sub Forum.

Since we all know, lots of us have a crapload of points, and nothing to do with them, so why don't we have this subforum where we could pay points to a mod, to have a certain thread moved there for a certain amount of days?

The Featured Subforum could be easily monitored. It can be locked to prevent people from posting threads, and the threads themselves could be unlocked (not sure if your kind of forum supports this, though). Even if you can't unlock certain threads, it could be like an indicator, and it will make threads stand out.

It can be something like 1000 points for 10 days, and you can't pay less, because then the mods will have too much hassle to keep removing and adding threads.

What do you guys think? I think it's a physically possible idea, and is a great one at that.

so your saying make a sub forum that people pay to have their threads moved and these threads would be considered more popular and important....basically to make it seen more.
fairly good idea but our richer members would take over the sub forum though

That's the WHOLE point. That's why I said the people who had a lot of points.

And it doesn't need to be only one member to pay, people can easily group together to make a big pot then pay to have it happen.

This is also a good idea, because it forces new people away. We don't need threads with a bunch of spam in them, right?

Well, the price would be a separate thing to talk about, between the mods, after they decide this is a good idea.

I would personally do like 100 points for one day, but with a minimum purchase of five days, to ease the workload for the mods.
