This should be disscussed in the Video Game Thread.

Anyway, about Ness and Jigglypuff retiring, I'm pretty sure I've seen some official statement that every character in the original SSB would be returning. I also think that one of the character from Final Fantasies 1-6 would be in this game. They were all on Nintendo Consoles and the Final Fantasy series is overrated... I mean popular.... yes, very popular.

I think its been confirmed that Roy(My favorite character Sad) is being replaced by Ike.
I think that Sonic will probably be in the game,but I highly doubt they would add Knuckles,Tails or Shadow(Although Knuckles I think would be cool).
Hammer Brother and the fat dude from F-Zero have been confirmed as characters.Images:

Giga Bowser Hammer Brother and the fat dude from F-Zero are assist tropheys not characters there similar to the pokeball but you get those characters.

has anyone watched the latest clip on the official site?? I flinched when Mario got wasted by the cannon ball. Oh and I can sum up what Kirby was thinking when he was left all alone in only two words.

Oh...crap...

but anyway, I've been almost positive that Capt. Falcon will make a return apperance since the release of Samurai Goroh as an Assit Trophy. The only revamp I'll think he'll get though is a slight redo on his appearance to make him more life-like.

I also think that Geno from Super Mario RPG should be a newcomer, he has a variety of moves to choose from for both Special Moves and Final Smashes. Not to mention he's a cool character and has a popular fanbase with the hardcore Nintendo fans like me.
