How about "Evolution of Time"? Since in your epilouge, he uses your Time Cards and he's still on the journey to find the four Time cards that are not affected by "Warped Timeline". This is off topic, but I never really understood your Time cards, until I saw them in action. It's like you've stopped the power of both Spell and Trap, but only for 2 turns.

It will have been one year since he graduated Duel Academy, and John will remember his graduation duel (possibly there being more than 1) like it/they was yesterday. By the time he graduates he will have the first 4 missing TIME cards. All that is missing is TIME Explosion.
-He will also get a Duel Runner, which means he will be able to Turbo Duel. What deck he'll have for the Turbo Duels will remain a mystery for now. It will be something you'll never expect.

If you want even more info, just ask. As for the Time Archetype, when I made them, I never thought a character in my fic would use them; I actually designed the Time Archetype for a friend's fan fic, which is why I made a Time Dragon card. John does not have Time Dragon in his Deck nor will he ever get it.

("NOOOOOO!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!" yelled SDK. Nick. (Rein & SDK. Nick: LP 0/ Tie)

("I'm not coming back. Not yet anyway." said Nick as a spirit. "I have something to take care of. But before that..." said Nick as he went back in his body.)

("Where's his majesty?!" said the fiends.)

("The Supreme Devil King... has been defeated. THE BATTLE BELONGS TO US!!!" shouted Nick.)

("Thank goodness you're back, Nick. You're back." said Rachel as she put her arms around his neck and while tearing up.)

The story continues:

The darkness in Death Valley has dispersed and the sky was shining as the sun came out. The Fiends lost their power and were easily defeated. Rein and the gang landed on a medium-sized hill and laid Nick down on the tree. Then suddenly black devil wings came out of Nick's back.

"WHOA!" yelled Rein. "But how? I thought we defeated him. And those wings should be gone. And where's Brad and the others?"

"Hmm. I have a theory." said Garoth. "Maybe all of Haou's darkness wasn't finished off just yet. The rest reside inside of Nick's body."

Rein then thought back to what Nick said before they left the tower.

Flashback:

("I have something to take care of first." said Nick.)

The story continues:

"That's what Nick meant." said Rein. "That's why he's still unconsious. He's gonna find Haou and free him in his mind."

"I wish we were there with him for backup." said Cody.

"No Cody." said Garoth. "This is something Nick has to do alone."

Meanwhile deep inside Nick's mind...

("He's got to be around here somewhere." thought Nick. "Huh? There!")

Nick saw a giant figure of his Duel Disk and landed on the Monster Card Zone slot where Haou is.

"So you found me." said Haou. "Feels like your looking into a mirror. A dark mirror that is."

"The reason we have the same face is because it wouldn't feel right for you to be just stuck with that mask on." said Nick. "Aside from that, I'm going to free you from the Dark one's control."

"Forget it!" shouted Haou. "I wanted power and that's what I got! If you don't believe me, then how about we Duel?"

"Fine. On one condition: You can only use your Death Spirits instead of your Death Heroes." said Nick.

"Alright. Then we'll see who is the true master of the spirits." said Haou.

"Bring it on." said Nick as they readied their Duel Disks.

Nick's white aura of the Chaos Realm burned with strength, but so did Haou's black aura of Death Valley. They knew only one of them will get out alive. And so they let out with a yell...

"So who's gonna win?" asked Cody.

"We better pray for Nick to be victorius." said Garoth.

Meanwhile in Nick's mind...

"My turn." said Haou's demon voice.

(Haou: Hand: 3) Now I play the spell "Level Draw", by paying 500 LP (Haou: LP 3200) I can select 1 monster on the field and draw cards from my Deck equal to half the level of the selected monster, so I choose "Zeo The Inferno Chaos Warrior", so I draw 4 cards. (Haou: Hand: 6) Now I play another "Double Summon", so I summon "Double Coston"(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/1700 DEF/1650) and since he's treated as 2 tributes to summon a DARK monster, I sacrifice him to summon "Zeo The Death Warrior"(LV7/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) And thanks to his effect, since "Death Valley" is on the field, he gains 1000 ATK. "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!" laughed Haou's demon voice. "Never have I heard such trash coming from the former Supreme Devil King. No matter what you say, Haou is mine. And that's the way it's... (grunts) What the...?!" said Haou's demon voice when something happened.

"Nick's right!" said Haou's will. "There isn't anything our spirits won't do. Especially get taken over by Darkness!"

"Such defiance!" said Haou's demon voice. "You chose this way! You need me!"

"No. I never chose this way." said Haou's will. "I was possessed by you and the Dark one! You have no power over me!" yelled Haou's will.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" howled the demon voice as it fades away. (panting heavily)

"Haou?" asked Nick.

"It's me Nick. Hurry defeat me now!" said Haou.

"You got it!" yelled Nick.

(Demon Voice) I can't control long, but I can control long enough for this one last move! I activate the trap card "Death Penalty", when this card is activated, I can select 1 monster with the highest ATK on the field and inflict to my opponent the ATK of the selected monster! IT'S OVER!!!) You're right. It is over... FOR YOU!!! (Haou says: (Demon Voice) WHAT?!!) By discarding "Shining Kuriboh"(LV1/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK/300 DEF/200) from my hand, all Battle Damage and Effect Damage done to me becomes 0! (Haou says: (Normal Voice) Alright! Haou fell face-first into the ground.

"Haou!" yelled Nick as he ran to him.

Nick ran to Haou.

"Haou. Are you alright?" asked Nick.

"I'm okay. And so is everyone else." said Haou as he got up.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't break you free of its control when you became the Supreme Devil King." said Nick all disappointed. "And I let you use the power of "Immortal Polymerization"."

"Nick. It's not your fault." said Haou. "But promise me one thing."

"What's that?" asked Nick.

"You will never use "Immortal Polymerization" again." said Haou. "True we are the only ones who can contain its power, but it brings out the Darkness in people. Since I was possessed and used its power for my own selfish reasons, here you go."

Nick acquired "Immortal Polymerization" from Haou.

"You're entrusting it to me?" asked Nick.

"You can only use the card when you're in the worst case scenario while Dueling the Dark one." said Haou.

Just then beams of light came shooting out from the Life Point Gauge of the giant Duel Disk.

"What was that?!" asked Nick.

"Your friends spirits." said Haou. "They have freed since you now defeated the Darkness."

"Oh really?!" said the Demon voice.

"What was that?!" asked Nick.

"I don't know." said Haou.

Then they noticed Haou's Deck was glowing with a black aura, then shot out 13 cards flowing with black aura.

"What are you doing to them?!" shouted Haou.

"These Death Heroes will come in handy my master the Dark one's army!" said the demon voice holding the cards. "No one can stop the Dark one! NO ONE!!! (laughs maniacally) Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!" laughed the demon voice.

The black aura blasted away through the portal where Brad, Yubel, and Z's spirits went.

"Let's get out of here, Nick." said Haou.

"Right!" said Nick as they made their way to the giant Life Point gauge.

So they ran to the Life Point Gauge and were transported out of Nick's mind.

Meanwhile outside:

"Huh?" groaned Nick.

"Nick you're awake." said Rein.

"Yeah." said. "(grunts in pain) No! Not now!" said Nick trying to keep the darkness from escaping.

Then the black aura shot out of Nick's chest and rocketed to the sky. Then out came Brad, Yubel, Z, and Haou.

"We're back!" yelled Brad.

"Whoo-hoo!!" yelled Yubel.

"Yes! Sweet ground. How I missed you so." said Z as he was kissing the ground.

"Nick. How come I see 2 of you?" asked Cody.

"This is Haou." said Nick. "When I first created him, I gave him my face so he wouldn't be stuck wearing his mask."

"Anyways, what were those dark lights?" asked Rein.

"The Death Heroes." said Nick. "The Darkness controlling Haou most of them so the Dark one can use them for her army of dark servants."

"Most of them?" said Rein.

"5 of them he didn't take with him." said Haou. "I do so apoligize for all that I've done to you."

"That's okay." said Alice. "We know you didn't mean it."

"That's right I forgot, Nick take this with you also." said Haou as he gave Nick a card.

Nick acquired "Supreme Devil King" from Haou.

"You're giving me your spirit card?" asked Nick.

"I want to join you on your quest to stop the Dark one." said Haou.

"You're in." said Rein. "Now we have two kinds of spirit monsters on our team. Chaos & Death."

"And with all of us together, there is nothing the Dark one can do." said Haou as he put his hand out.

Everyone put their hands in for good luck, then they went to the edge of the hill and Nick thought...

("Watch out Dark one. We're coming for you!!" thought Nick.)

Cards of the Day: "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" & "Zeo The Death Warrior"

Nick and the gang now have a new ally on their team. And with their skills and courage. The Dark one won't stand a chance. "Next Chapter"! Nick and the gang round up all the students and return to the Chaos Realm. The gang then found a path from the ocean to an interdimensional Expressroid and they were off to New Domino City. But before they can even get there, The Dark one and her servants stop the train from reaching their destination and the only way to get there is by Dueling her. Nick and the gang went back to the spot where they found the resistance's base.

"He's back!" said a boy.

Everyone was cheering with relief that Nick was back, but they didn't take too likely to Haou who seperated from Nick.

"Now I know what all of you are thinking." said Nick as he explained. ""How could you befriend the person who took over your body?" The reason, he was being controlled like all the others in this dimension. And I know that he's alright, because I freed him. And he's decided to help us."

"I do hope you find it in your hearts to forgive me for what I have done." said Haou.

"Like Heck, we are!" yelled Travis. "After what you put us through, you can forget it!"

"Yeah! So what if Cunningham freed you?!" yelled Zane. "That doesn't mean we can forgive you for all the stuff you did!"

Then Rachel and Alice went up to Travis and Zane and gave them one big punch to the face.

"OWWWW!!!" shouted Travis & Zane.

"You were saying?" said Nick.

"(growls angrily)" growled Zane. ("Cunningham!! Where do you get this strength." thought Zane. "All that power inside you! That must be the reason why people worship you so much when this sort of thing happens! Power. I want power!")

Then Nick and the gang rounded up everyone including Brad and his other cousins and are heading back to the Chaos Realm.

"Alright. Everybody hold on to each other." said Nick.

Nick placed in his Field Spell Zone his "Chaos Realm" Field Spell, then a giant wave of light surrounded the area of the students, pulled back and they were transported back to where they started.

"Ah. It's good to be home." said Z.

"I take it that the mission is complete?" asked Zeo.

"We ran into some trouble along the way, but yeah it's done." said Nick. "Now we're going another mission. We're headed for Neo Domino City."

"And the reason you chose that place is?" asked Zeo.

"One, is because the Dark one might cause trouble there like she did the other dimensions." said Nick. "And two. The Dark one might not be the only evil around this realm."

"So you noticed, didn't you?" asked Zeo.

"Yes." said Nick.

"Noticed what?" asked Alice.

"During the time me and Nick were exploring the Duel Monster Realm, only one dimension in this realm had a lot of dark energy emitting from outside it." said Rein. "And that dimension is Neo Domino City."

"You see. Neo Domino City is like a pocket dimension, so it's not a Field Spell in the game or anything." said Nick. "People from each dimension go there to take in the sights. The only way to get there is by using the interdimensional Expressroid. And we're in luck, because the Expressroid should be coming in 3, 2, 1."

Then a wide part of the Expressroid showed up 3 meters in the ocean.

"And how are we supposed to get to it?" asked Travis.

Then the water split in half, making a path to the Expressroid.

"Does that answer your question?" asked Nick.

"Fine. Let's go." said Travis.

"Wait a minute." said Nick. "Who said you were going?"

"We're going with you whether like it or not." said Travis.

"And I certainly do not." said Nick. "You endangered the lives of most of the students back there with that stupid stunt of yours. Why would you think after all that that I would take you along?"

"Well Nick. The Dark one might strike the Chaos Realm again and with everyone from your school and other people from different schools here, there's no way we could protect all of them." said Zeo.

"Ha! See?" asked Travis.

"That means you would be dead too, idiot." said Nick. "And do you remember what I said to you before you left?"

"Oh yeah." said Travis. "That reminds me. After all this blows over, I'm getting my payback on you."

"Do what you will." said Nick. "I won't even care anymore. Alright. Anyone who's going better hurry now. You got 15 minutes."

After 10 minutes gone by, everyone got on the train and they are on their way. When the Expressroid went through the interdimensional portal, everyone looked out the window and saw what it looks like in between dimensions.

"Whoa!" said a boy.

"Cool!" said another boy.

"It's like something in a dream." said a third boy.

("I'm glad everyone likes the sites, but we're not on some field trip." thought Nick. "We're here to stop the Dark one and any other evil getting in our way.")

As they were passing through the Sunrise Mountain dimension, this happened.

"Fire!" said a voice.

A shot was fired and it hit a piece of rock and rocks were rolling down the mountain to where the Expressroid was about to leave.

"Hey, what happened?" said a boy.

"I don't know." said Nick. ("Somethings not right." thought Nick. "The interdimensional gateways are never turned off. Unless...") "Everybody stay in the train." shouted Nick. "Guys come with me."

("You're not getting all the glory again." thought Travis & Zane.)

Both Zane & Travis secretly followed them outside. The gang ran far away from the train and went to the edge of the mountain where the sun is. And then they found 6 hooded figures there.

"Finally, we meet again, Nick." said H.F.1.

"So you're the Dark one." said Nick.

"Yes, I am the Dark one." said the Dark one. "But as you can see, this isn't my true body. I am simply only using this vessel, because it fuels the darkness in me."

"Then come out of that person's body and show me who you really are." said Nick. "I'm tired of all these secrets! If I know you, then tell me who you are right now!"

"Very well." said the Dark one as she used her powers to escape the body.

The Dark one's spirit came out of the back of her host and out came a dark figure that was about Nick's height with long black hair, light-purple skin, and a wide, v-shaped ring that looks like a crown on her head.

"Do you recognize me now?" asked the Dark one.

"Uh..." said Nick.

"Look into my eyes and remember." said the Dark one as she and Nick flashed back to when he was a kid.

Nick flashbacked to when he was a little kid and he got his first pack of Duel Monster cards. And there was this one card in particular that he liked a lot.

"I was your only friend back then and you never gave me away." said the Dark one. "I was happy. Until you lost me and abandoned me!"

"(gasps)" said Nick as he went out of the trance. "No. You can't... Cosmo Queen?"

"Nick, you know this thing?" asked Rein.

"I do. But she looks different." said Nick.

"After all those year being discarded in your house, you never even tried to find me." said C.Q. "And since then, I've used my power of Darkness to manifest myself into something the old Cosmo Queen couldn't handle. I am now Dark Cosmo Queen. An entity whose power has no limits. But since I'm being generous now, I won't Duel you with my Deck. Instead, I'll Duel you with my hosts Deck, but I have to tell you that you might recognize the cards my host is using."

"Why do you say that?" asked Nick.

"You'll find out soon enough." said D.C.Q.

"Fine then." said Nick.

Now I play the spell "Double Summon", so I can summon twice this turn, so I summon "Chaos Spirit Necron"(LV2/DARK/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1000 DEF/1000) and "Chaos Spirit Darklight"(LV3/DARK/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1500) Now "Chaos Spirit Necron"(s) effect activates, when he's summoned successfully, I can Special Summon 2 "Dark Metal Reflect Slime Token"(s)(LV4/DARK/Token/Effect/ATK/1000 DEF/1000) And thanks to their effects, they take the name and effect of 1 monster on the field and I choose "Chaos Spirit Necron". Now "Chaos Spirit Necron" and "Chaos Spirit Darklight" use "Spirit Cross Fusion" to summon "Chaos Spirit Eclipse"(LV6/DARK/Spirit/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2100 DEF/1500) Now his effect activates, if I control 1 or more monsters on my field, I can select 1 LV5 or higher monster from my Deck and I can Normal Summon again this turn, so I select and summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) by tributing my 2 "Dark Metal Reflect Slime Token"(s). "Show your face! Peter!" yelled Nick.

"So you figured it out." said D.C.Q. as she removed the hood. "Yes it's your cousins who serve under me."

"Wait. Does that mean you have...?" said Nick.

"Heh. Minions remove your hoods." ordered D.C.Q.

The other hooded figures removed their hoods and showed their faces.

"Tarik and Caleb." said Nick.

"Not only them. She has Ty, Dieon, and Eddie." said Brad. (The other 3 are also Nick and Brad's cousins. They came here the same as everyone else.)

"What did you do to them?!" yelled Nick.

"Relax." said D. Peter. "I just used my power to take control of their minds that's all. Anyways on with the Duel."

Anyways, since I summoned a "Dark Guardian of Ra" monster to my field, "Sarcophogus of the Dark God" gets 1 Dark Counter. (DC: 1) Next, I play the spell "Pot of Greed", so I draw 2 cards. (D. Peter: Hand: 4) Next, I play another "Pot of Greed", so I draw 2 more cards. (D. Peter: Hand: 5) Now I play the spell "Double Summon", so I can summon again, so I summon "Dark Guardian of Ra - Isis"(LV4/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1500 DEF/1200) Which means another Dark Counter. (DC: 2) Now I play the Quick-Play Spell "Quick Summon", so I Special Summon "Dark Guardian of Ra - Seto"(LV4/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1800 DEF/1300) and I get 1 more Dark Counter. (Nick: Hand: 2) Now I activate my second face-down trap "Graveyard Shuffle", when this card is activated, I can shuffle my Deck and I can draw cards from my Deck equal to the number of cards in my Graveyard and since there's 3, I draw 3 cards. (Nick: Hand: 5) Now I summon "Chaos Spirit Lava"(LV4/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1000) Next, I play another "Double Summon", so I can summon "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) Now his effect activates, he gains 300 ATK for each Spell & Trap Card in your Graveyard and since there's 5, he gains 1500 ATK. ("I was hoping you would say that." said Nick. "Which is why I created these cards especially for you.")

("Whoa!" yelled Peter. "Guardian of Ra" monsters?")

("You know how "Rainbow Dragon" is summoned when all 7 "Crystal Beast" monsters are on the field and in the Graveyard?" asked Nick.)

("Yeah." said Peter.)

("These cards are exactly like them." said Nick. "I just hope you'll one day put these cards to good use when you finally Duel someone.")

The story continues:

("I didn't think he'd test them out on me." thought Nick. "Don't worry Peter. I just wish there was someway to break you free without transferring your spirit into your favorite card. Luckily, I have a card face-down that will end this Duel exactly how I pictured it. If she'll do what I think she'll do, I might have a chance.")

"My move!" said D. Peter.

I draw. I think it's about time I end this. I activate "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra"(s) effect, once per turn, by lowering my LP to 1, (D. Peter: LP 1) "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra"(s) ATK are increased by the lowered amount. (7999 + 6300 = 14299 ATK) Now "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra" END THIS!!! (Nick counters: Not so fast! I activate the Quick-Play Spell "Mystical Space Typhoon", so I destroy your "Dark Millenium Circle" and you know what that means. Since "Dark Millenium Circle" is removed from the field, all of your "Dark Guardian of Ra" monsters are destroyed, so there goes that power boost. (14299 - 6300 = 7999 ATK) So what?! I can still destroy your "Chaos Spirit Searon". (Nick: LP 1601) And since it's still my Battle Phase, I can activate the Quick-Play Spell "Retaliation of the Dark God", if 1 "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra" monster I control just attacked, this card becomes an Equip Spell Card and is equipped to "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra" and its effect allows me to choose up to 4 "Dark Guardian of Ra" monsters in my Graveyard and the equipped monster gains the ATK of the selected monsters, so I choose "Dark Guardian of Ra(s) - Isis, Mahaad, Atem, and Shadah", so its ATK go all the way up to... (7999 + 2100 + 1800 + 1600 + 1500 = 14999 ATK) Not only that but it can attack again, so "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra" destroy his "Chaos Spirit Lava" and END THIS!!! (Nick says: That... was just... what I was hoping for!) WHAT?! (Nick counters: I activate the Counter Trap "All for one", when this card is activated, the strongest monster on your side of the field attack the strongest monster on my field, so your attack is switched to "Zeo".) So?! It will still be the end for you! (Nick counters: Not quite. Thanks to the other effect of "All for one", we both take Battle Damage inflicted by the attacking monster, so we both lose!) NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

When both monsters clashed, a big explosion happened and they both flew back and landed on their backs.

"(groans)" groaned Nick.

"(groans)" groaned D. Peter. "You got off lucky this time, Nick. But the next time, you'll be begging for mercy once we bring back our master."

"Your master?" said Nick as he sat up.

"Yes. Soon Master Yotonmaru shall be reborn!!!" yelled D. Peter.

Nick went into a shocking state when he heard that name. He was shivering with fear and felt like his heart was gonna give out any minute.

"Until next time, Nick." said D. Peter as he opened a portal.

They opened a portal and jumped in it to make their escape.

"They're getting away." said Rein. "Nick let's... huh?"

Nick was still shivering with fear when he heard that name. And he said quietly to himself all choked up...

"Yo.... ton... maru?!" said Nick quietly and all choked up. ("He's still alive after all these years?!" thought Nick. "Then what I feared was true. This dimension... No, this realm and everyone in it will be destroyed without warning or hesitation.")

Card of the Day: "Dark Winged Dragon of Ra"

Nick managed to save Peter from being sealed, but when he heard the name of the master D.C.Q. was talking about, I fear the worst is yet to come for the Duel Monster Realm. "Next Chapter"! The gang is still stuck in Sunrise Mountain, but are almost finished digging the rocks out of the way, but before that, they were ambushed by soldiers and were transported to the restiing place of Exodia where Nick met an old friend. Soon after Zane learing that Exodia is the most powerful creature known to Duel Monsters, he quickly betrayed everyone and harnessed the power of Exodia Necross and challenged Nick to a Duel. Will Nick save Exodia, or will he fall to the power of Exodia Necross? Find out next time. Until then, KEEP ON DUELING!!!
