"You know your assignment." said a voice.

"Yes, my Lord." said the monster.

"Now go and seek out the Boy of Chaos." said the voice.

The monster went through a portal in to the human world and began his search.

"Must find the Boy of Chaos." said the monster. "Must find the Boy of Chaos!"

Nick awoke from the night he went to the Duel Monster Realm. And he was in a hurry, because today is a School Day. He grabbed his books and Deck, got on his bus, and went to School.

"Hey Nick." said Cody. "What do you have in your hand?" (Cody lives in Nick's neighborhood and they're very good friends.)

"My Deck." answered Nick.

"Let me see it." said Cody.

Nick hands Cody his Deck.

"That's weird." said Cody. "Your Deck has cards i've never seen before."

Cody hands Nick back his Deck.

"That's because these are cards that I made." said Nick. "I e-mailed the creator of the game during the holidays and showed him the designs and effects and he mailed them to me. The actual cards." (We all know he's lying through his teeth. I'm just saying. Alright?! Alright.)

"Those are some good cards you have there." said Cody.

"Thanks Cody." said Nick.

They arrived at Oxford Middle School. (I'm using my School in my Fan Fic, so don't laugh.)

"Hey look it's Dream Boy." said Collin. (Collin is one of the people that makes fun of him at School.)

"What's up R-Tard." said Nick.

Collin got angry and grabbed him.

"Listen you, I..." said Collin as he got caught.

"What were we about to do Mr. Abernathy?" said Mrs. Bell. (Mrs. Bell is Nick's Homeroom teacher.)

"N-Nothing Mrs. Bell." said Collin all scared.

"Then let him go." said Mrs. Bell.

Collin let go of Nick.

"Now go sit down." said Mrs. Bell. "Sorry Nick. Are you OK?"

"I'm fine." answered Nick.

While Nick went to the restroom and everybody was learning, the ground started to shake like an earthquake. People thought it was the Army Depot (Where Nick's Dad works) testing until they turned on the T.V. in the classroom.

Newsman: This is an urgent report. A giant and strange creature is running amuck in Oxford. (I'm also putting my hometown in there too.) And there's also something else about this creature. It seems that there are flames burning this creature in specific places in his body and looks like some kind of wolf that can talk and here's what he's saying:

Nick listened in.

"Must find the Boy of Chaos!" yelled the monster. "Must find the Boy of Chaos!"

("Looks like he means you man." said Z hovering over Nick as a spirit. "So what are going to do?")

("If he wants me, then let him come." thought Nick. "But first things first, we got to get the people that are outside inside.")

("How are you going to do that?" asked Z.)

Then the intercom came on as Nick rushed outside.

"Everyone!" yelled the intercom. "Please immediately get inside and report to the School Gymnasium."

Nick ran out of site to keep the teachers from noticing him, so the monster can come to the back of the School.

"There you are." said the monster while standing on the roof.

"First tell me who and what you are." said Nick.

"I am known as a "Lunar" monster from "Wolf Forest-Canis Paradise" also known as the "Lunar Forest" in the Duel Monster Realm." said the monster. "My name is Lunar-Pyro Fang, the strongest of the Fire "Lunar" creatures and I have been sent here to elimanate the Boy of Chaos also known as Nick Cunningham."

"If you want me, you have to Duel me." said Nick.

"Very well." said Pyro Fang.

They ran to the field in the back of the School and Pyro Fang created a Duel Disk out of his arm with his own flames and put in his Deck. While Nick raised his arm high and a ray of light hit his arm and his created Duel Disk was on his arm and he put in his Deck along with his Fusion/Extra Deck.

The news crew flew over the school and saw them and their report went live and the whole School was watching Nick.

"What's he doing?" whispered a person. "He must be crazy taking on that thing." whispered another person. "I hope he doesn't die." whispered a third person.

"It looks like a kid from Oxford Middle School is about to fight this monster." said the Newsman. "We got identification. His name is Nick Cunningham: 14 yrs-old, African American, height 6'0. So let's go back to our copter cam and see what's about to happen."

I draw. I play "Double Summon", so I can summon twice this turn, so I summon "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) and "Chaos Spirit Lava"(LV4/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1000). Now "Chaos Spirit Searon" and "Chaos Spirit Lava" use "Spirit Cross Fusion" to summon the one and only "Chaos Spirit Inferno"(LV6/FIRE/Spirit/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2100 DEF/1500) Now I activate "Chaos Spirit Inferno"(s) effect, I can select 1 Spell or Trap Card from my Deck and set it in my Spell & Trap Card Zone and he gains 300 ATK & DEF for every Spell & Trap Card on the field. (2100 + 300 = 2400 ATK/ 1500 + 300 = 1800 DEF) I play 2 cards face-down and end my turn and he gains an extra 600 ATK & DEF. (2400 + 600 = 3000 ATK/ 1800 + 600 = 2400 DEF)

"Whoa!" yelled a person. "Are those real monsters?" said another person. "When did he get something like that?!" said a third person.

I draw. I also play a "Double Summon", so I summon "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano"(LV4/FIRE/Beast/Effect/ATK/1950 DEF/0) and "Lunar-Werewolf-Wildfire"(LV4/FIRE/Beast-Warrior/Effect/ATK/1800 DEF/1000) and they both get their effects if they're both on the field. (Nick says: This could be trouble.) I play the spell "Quick Summon", so I can summon another monster, so I summon "Lunar-Pup Geki"(LV3/LIGHT/Beast/Tuner/ATK/600 DEF/600) Now i'm tuning "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano"(LV4) and "Lunar-Pup Geki"(LV3). "The wolves will howl, on the day people sleep, singing the song of the moon, till the rest of our days". (Quoted by Wolfy Eddy) Synchro Summon! Howl! "Lunar-Pyro Fang"(LV7/FIRE/Beast-Warrior/Synchro/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/1900) Now I activate "Lunar-Pyro Fang"(s) effect, when he is Synchro Summoned, I can Special Summon 1 LV4 or lower FIRE "Lunar" monster from my Graveyard, so I summon back to my field "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano"(LV4/FIRE/Beast/Effect/ATK/1950 DEF/0) And since he's back on the field he gets his effect again. Now I equip "Lunar-Pyro Fang" with the Equip Spell Card "Lunar Moon Fang". When this card is equipped to a "Lunar" monster, that "Lunar" monster gains 400 ATK & DEF for every "Lunar" monster on my side of the field except the equipped "Lunar" monster, so he gains 800 ATK & DEF. (2500 + 800 = 3300 ATK/ 1900 + 800 = 2700 DEF) (Nick says: Thanks to your Equip Spell Card, "Chaos Spirit Inferno" gets stronger. (3000 + 300 = 3300 ATK/ 2400 + 300 = 2700 DEF) Now "Lunar-Werewolf-Wildfire" attack him directly! (Nick says: What?!) Thanks to his effect since "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano" is on the field, he can attack your LP directly. (Nick: LP 7100) But thanks to his other effect, if I do attack you directly, half the damage is inflicted to you. (Nick says: That hurt. But why did it feel so real?) Ha! Foolish Human. When we're in the Duel Monster Realm and the Human Realm, all attacks become actual pain. And so is this attack. "Lunar-Pyro Fang" attack his "Chaos Spirit Inferno"! (Nick says: That's senseless! They'll only destroy each other.) When the equipped "Lunar" monster is destroyed, I pay 1000 LP and Special Summon it back. (Pyro Fang: LP 7000) So come on back "Lunar-Pyro Fang"(LV7/FIRE/Beast-Warrior/Synchro/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/1900) Now attack him again. (Nick counters: I don't think so. Go "Spirit Reborn"! When this card is activated, I can select 1 "Chaos Spirit" monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it, then the Battle Phase ends, so come on back "Chaos Spirit Inferno"(LV6/FIRE/Spirit/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2100 DEF/1500) I end my turn.

And I play "Level Draw", by paying 500 LP, (Nick: LP 6600) I can select 1 monster on my side of the field and draw cards equal to half of its level, so I choose "Chaos Spirit Inferno", so I draw 3 cards. (Nick: Hand: 4) Now I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) (Z says: Alright Nick, let's do it) Right! Now "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior" and "Chaos Spirit Inferno" use "Cross Fusion" to summon "Zeo The Inferno Chaos Warrior"(LV8/FIRE/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2800 DEF/2400) Now I activate "Zeo The Inferno Chaos Warrior"(s) effect, he gains 400 ATK & DEF for every Spell & Trap Card in my Graveyard and since there are 3, he gains 1200 ATK & DEF. (2800 + 1200 = 4000 ATK/ 2400 + 1200 = 3600 DEF) Next I play "Monster Gate", by flipping over the top card of my Deck, if its a monster I can Special Summon it. If it's not, I discard it and keep drawing. And what do you know, I just drew "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) and "Zeo The Inferno Chaos Warrior" gets another 400 ATK & DEF. (4000 + 400 = 4400 ATK/ 3600 + 400 = 4000 DEF) Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" destroy "Lunar-Pyro Fang" (Pyro Fang says: But they're equal.) Not anymore thanks to "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(s) effect. He gains 500 ATK during Damage calculation. (2500 + 500 = 3000 ATK) (Pyro Fang: LP 6500) Next, I attack "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano" with "Zeo The Inferno Chaos Warrior". (Pyro Fang counters: By removing "Lunar Moon Fang from play, I can negate the destruction of all "Lunar" monsters on the field.) But you still take damage. (Pyro Fang: LP 4050) Before I end my turn, I play "Crossout", so I select 1 Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" and return it to my Fusion Deck, then I can Special Summon its Material Monsters from my Deck, so come on back "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) Now I activate his effect. When he is summoned to the field, I can select 1 monster in my Deck with "Sealed Spirit" in its name and use it as an Equip Spell Card to "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior" and he gains it effects, so I choose "Sealed Spirit Fire"(LV2/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/200 DEF/300), so he gains 200 ATK for every Spell & Trap Card in your Graveyard. And since there are 2, he gains 400 ATK. (1900 + 400 = 2300 ATK) I end my turn.

I play "Graveyard Tuning", so I select 1 Tuner on my field or in my Graveyard and 1 non-Tuner monster on my field, then I can Special Summon 1 Synchro Monster from my Extra Deck or my Graveyard, so I choose "Lunar-Pup Geki"(LV3) and "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano"(LV4). "The wolves will howl, on the day people sleep, singing the song of the moon, till the rest of our days" (Quoted by Wolfy Eddy) Synchro Summon! Howl! I draw. Sorry, but this is the end. I play the 2 Equip Spell Cards "Chaos Sword" and "Zeo Strike" and equip them to "Zeo The Chaos Warrior", so he gets a power boost. 1000 from "Chaos Sword". (2500 + 1000 = 3500 ATK) And 800 from "Zeo Strike". (3500 + 800 = 4300 ATK) Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" destroy his "Lunar-Pyro Fang". (Pyro Fang: LP 2250) And thanks to the effects of "Zeo Strike", whenever "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" destroys a monster, the opponent takes damage equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.

"No!" said Pyro Fang weakly. "I failed everyone. Now the "Lunar Forest" is doomed."

"What do you mean?" asked Nick.

"I was sent here to destroy you, because if I didn't, the "Lunar Forest" and everyone in it will be slaves to the Dark one." said Pyro Fang. "Even our king "Lupin Canis-King of the Wolf Forest" was over powered by the Dark one."

"Pyro Fang tell me." said Nick. "Who is the Dark one?"

"I..." said Pyro Fang before something happened.

Then suddenly a bolt of energy struck through Pyro Fang's chest.

"AAAGH!!" howled Pyro Fang.

"PYRO FANG!!" yelled Nick. "Who did that?!!"

Just then, a dark shadowy figure of a head appeared in front of them.

"Hmph! The pathetic wolf failed me." said the voice. "Oh well. I can always find someone else."

"Who are you and why did you do this?!!" yelled Nick.

"You can call me what your little friend said about me." said the voice.

"So you're the Dark one!" said Nick. "Why did you destroy his home?!"

"I didn't destroy it. I just took over that's all." said the Dark one. "And why do you call me the Dark one when you already know me? Besides, I know you pretty well Nick."

"What do you mean I already know you and how do you know my name?!!" yelled Nick.

"Relax." said the Dark one. "You'll know in due time. See you later my dear Nick."

"Wait!!" yelled Nick as the Dark one's head dispersed away. "Pyro Fang are you gonna be okay?"

"Don't worry about me." said Pyro Fang weakly. "Just promise me this: Please save my people. I beg of you." said Pyro Fang while fading away.

Soon after that, Pyro Fang's body turned into light and the light transformed into a card and landed in Nick's hand. The card soon became the image of Pyro Fang.

"I swear Pyro Fang. You will be avenged." said Nick.

Card of the Day: "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"

You heard him. He swore Pyro Fang will be avenged along with keeping his promise to protect the Duel Monster Realm. "Next Chapter"! Nick is treated as a hero in his School and town, but he still feels bad about what happened to Pyro Fang. Suddenly, at his house someone mysterious was waiting for him and to Duel him. Will Nick come out victorious, or mourn over the incident with Pyro Fang? Find out next time. Until then, KEEP ON DUELING!!

"Alright dude." said a boy. "You showed him!"

"You're our hero!" said a girl.

She kisses him on the cheek.

"Alright! Up top." said another boy.

"(Sadly sighs)" says Nick.

"What's wrong Nick?" said a third boy.

"I couldn't save him." said Nick.

"Save who?" asked the first boy. "The guy you were dueling? Dude he was attacking you."

"He didn't have a choice but to attack me!" shouted Nick. "And now look at him. I couldn't do anything to save him! Not one! And it's all my fault."

"No it's not." said the girl.

"Yes it is!" said Travis. (Travis is another one of the kids that picks on him. Even if if he has the same last name as him.)

"Shut up man." said the first boy. "If you were out there and you had nothing to defend you, what would you do?!"

"Yeah!" yelled the second boy.

"I wouldn't even care knowing that it's his fault." said Travis. "If I died out there, everyone of you would start blaming him. That's a good enough answer for me. So what are you gonna do Nick if I was out there and you weren't? Aren't you going to protect me?"

"You're not even worth protecting or fighting for that matter!" yelled Nick.

Travis was furious.

"WHY YOU...!" yelled Travis.

"Travis!" shouted the teacher. "That's enough. Just wait till' your parents hear what you said."

School let out early because of the incident and Nick still mourns over what happened to Pyro Fang.

Flashback:

("Pyro Fang are you gonna be okay?" asked Nick.)

("Nick before I go, promise me this: Save my people. I beg of you." said Pyro Fang as he faded)

Now I activate "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames"(s) effect, he gains 1000 ATK for each Continuous Trap Card in my Graveyard and I count 4, so he gains grand total of 4000. (ATK: 4000) (Nick says: Wait, you sent 3 to your Graveyard.) I think you forgot about "Graceful Charity". The 2 cards I sent to the Graveyard were "Jar of Greed" and "Dragon's Rage". (Nick says: And "Dragon's Rage" is a Continuous Trap Card.) That's right. Now I activate his other effect, once per turn, I can destroy 1 set Spell or Trap card on your field. (Nick counters: I activate the trap "Spirit Defense", when this card is activated, all "Chaos Spirit" monsters on my side of the field are not destroyed as a result of battle.) Good. (Nick says: What?) Now I activate the spell "Phantasmal Martyrs", when this card is activated, if I control "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" and "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", I can Special Summon 3 "Phantasmal Martyr Token"(s)(LV1/DARK/Fiend/Token/ATK/0 DEF/0) Now I sacrifice my 3 "Phantasmal Martyr Token"(s) to summon "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms"(LV10/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/4000 DEF/4000) (Nick says: I bet I know what you're going to bring out next.) You do, but i'm not removing them from play. (Nick says: What?!) I need them on the field in order to activate this card. The Quick-Play Spell "Sacred Release", when this card is activated, if I control "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", and "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" on my side of the field, I can Special Summon "Chaos Phantasm Armityle"(LV12/DARK/Fiend/Fusion/Effect/ATK/0 DEF/0) from my Fusion Deck. I end my turn.

"I bet you had to Duel this way against Pyro Fang, didn't you?" asked B.

"(Sadly sighs)" said Nick. (Wait. I know that Duel was all over the news and he knows it, but how did he know my name when I didn't even say it? And how could he have known where I live when they didn't even say it on the news? And his cards and strategy, there's only one person I know who even has those cards." thought Nick.)

"Alright, take off the hood." said Nick. "I know it's you Brad."

"Alright, you caught me." said Brad. (Brad is Nick's cousin. They don't go to the same school, but they're still close.)

"Why did you set all this up?" asked Nick.

(Nick: Hand: 6) Now I activate "Chaos Spirit Darklight"(s)(LV5/DARK/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1500) effect, since he's in my Graveyard, I can Normal Summon 1 LV5 or higher "Chaos Spirit" or Normal Summon 1 "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" from my hand, so I summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200), then I play "Double Summon", so I summon "Chaos Spirit Landcaron"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/900 DEF/850) Next, I play "Quick Tuning", I select 1 Tuner monster and 1 non-Tuner monster from my Deck and send them to the Graveyard, then I can Special Summon 1 Synchro Monster from my Extra Deck with the combined level of the selected monster and this summon is treated as a Synchro Summon, so i'm tuning "Lunar-Pup Geki"(LV3) with "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano"(LV4) to Synchro Summon "Lunar-Pyro Fang"(LV7/FIRE/Beast-Warrior/Synchro/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/1900) and thanks to his effect, I can Special Summon 1 LV4 or lower "Lunar" monster from my Graveyard, so come on back "Lunar-Wolf-Volcano"(LV4/FIRE/Beast/Effect/1950 DEF/0) Now "Chaos Spirit Landcaron" attack both his "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" and "Chaos Phantasm Armityle". Before I go on with my next attack, I activate the Quick-Play Spell "Instant Cross", I select 1 "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" and 1 or more "Chaos Spirit" monster from my field, hand, and Graveyard and return them to my Deck, then I can Special Summon a number of Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(s) from my Fusion Deck with the names of the selected monsters I returned to my Deck, so "Zeo The Chaos Warrior", "Chaos Spirit Landcaron", and "Chaos Spirit Searon" it's time for a "Triple Cross Fusion". (Brad says: A "Triple Cross Fusion"?) That's right. I fuse them together to summon the one, the only, "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior"(LV9/FIRE/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/3000 DEF/2600) And get this, he gains 400 ATK & DEF for every card in both of our Graveyards, so let's count 'em up. And that makes 23, so he gains one heck of a power-up. (9200 + 3000 = 12200 ATK/ 9200 + 2600 = 11800 DEF) (Brad says: That'll destroy me.) It will, but since i'm a true friend, i'll let "Lunar-Pyro Fang" take the second shot, attack! (Pyro Fang: Take this!) (Brad: LP 3400) Now let's end this war, but this time I win. "I heard you created those cards." said Brad.

"From who?" asked Nick.

"From some shadowy dark figure that came up in front of me at school." said Brad.

"The Dark one." said Nick with a mad look on his face.

"You know her?" asked Brad.

"She's the one that turned Pyro Fang into his card and she claims that she's known me for a long time and I don't even remember her." said Nick.

"That's scary." said Brad.

"But I do know one thing for sure, i'm gonna pay her back for what she did to Pyro Fang. Because I know she was watching us and she better get ready, because i'm coming for you!" yelled Nick.

From her lair:

"Not even the power of the Sacred Beasts couldn't stop him." said the Dark one. "Oh well, there's still more work to be done before the time comes. And when it comes, Nick better be ready to pay for what he did to me."

Card of the Day: "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior"

Still keeping his promise to Pyro Fang and his promise to protect the Duel Monster Realm. But what did the Dark one mean by "Nick better be ready to pay for what he did to me."? Only time will tell. "Next Chapter"! Nick's School is closed for 2 days after the incident with Pyro Fang. On the same day he recieves a package with a Duel Disk inside with a Duel Monster card inside. The card's spirit came to life and now Nick is forced to Duel the Dark spirit in a shadow game. Will Nick reign supreme, or will the spirit send his soul into the shadows? Find out next time.
