Go with your own format dude. That's what I did and my fan-fics are popular enough for me. Here are some things people do when they write fan-fics:

1. Never go with script format. It destroys all detail. Some people however, like Haou, put a description in between what people say. That is perfectly okay, but script format isn't liked in general.

2. On the first post, don't put any chapters. Instead, save that post for links to other posts which you have chapters on. Apparently that's possible, but I don't know how.You could also only write something like:
Chapters 1-15 Post 3
Chapters 16-25 Post 14
and so on. You could have your first few chapters in your first post and then transfer them a few weeks later (that's probably the best method).

3. Why do you need all this extra space in the first post? Some people put bios about their characters, some the deck lists, and there are many other things that can be put into the first post if you decide to format it like this.

4. There are 3 types of decks in fan-fics: the deck made up of all real cards (the whole fan-fic is usually like this), the mostly real decks with a few made up cards (I use for some of the decks in my fan-fics), and the made up archetype deck with a few real cards thrown in (most, if not all, of the decks in Haou's fan-fic, and many of the decks in mine). You can often switch between them, but if you don't use the first one the most, use it few times. That's what I've observed.

5. Give good descriptions. One thing me and Haou fail to do, since we write our duels in script format, is give descriptions about what the monsters look like and how they attack and everything else that makes the duel hard to visualize.

Seriously, other than following the official rules and maybe these guidelines, do whatever you want. Your format isn't so important.

("Thanks to the effect of "All for one", we both take Battle Damage by the attacking monster, so we both lose." said Nick. (LP 0)

("You got off lucky this time, but the next time, you'll fall before our master. Soon Master Yotonmaru shall be reborn!!!" yelled D. Peter.)

("Yo.... ton... maru?!" said Nick quietly and choked up. ("Then what I feared is true." thought Nick. "Which means this dimension... No, this realm and everyone in it shall be destroyed without warning or hesitation."))

The story continues:

The workers working on the Expressroid and some of the students were helping clearing the way for the Expressroid.

"Alright that's good." said Rein "We just need to move those 5 boulders and we're done."

Rein walked over to Nick, who is still mourning over letting his cousins and D.C.Q. get away.

"How is he doing?" asked Rein.

"He's still thinking about what happened." said Rachel

"But for now he's alright." said Alice.

"Hey Nick. I know you're still sad about losing Peter again, but there's still hope." said Rein. "All you have to do is drag D.C.Q. out of his body and he'll return to his normal self. Nick?"

Nick heard everything Rein said and he is still thinking about Peter, but he's also thinking about what D.C.Q. said to him before she left.

Flashback:

("Soon Master Yotonmaru shall be reborn!!!" yelled D. Peter.)

The story continues:

("How can he still be alive?!" thought Nick. "I thought I finished the job back then!")

"Nick?!" said Rein.

"Huh?" answered Nick. "Oh sorry. You're right. I should just focus on defeating D.C.Q."

Zane looked over at Nick with a mean glare.

("You think you're the only one special person around here, do you?" thought Zane. "It's because you have that power of yours. What I would give to have even more power than him.")

Meanwhile in another dimension:

"Hmm. So this boy desires power, does he?" said a voice. "Then he may be the key to my freedom. Soldiers. Go to Sunrise Mountain and bring me those kids at the edge of the mountain." ordered the voice.

"Yes sir!" said the soldiers as they transported themselves.

The soldiers then transported themselves to Sunrise Mountain where the others encounter them.

"What the... (grunts) Oww!" shouted Nick as one of the soldiers hit him.

"Oww!" shouted Alice.

"Oww!" shouted Rachel.

"Oww!" shouted Cody.

"Urgh!!" yelled Rein.

"What the... Hey let me go!" said Zane as the soldiers grabbed him.

"What are you... Oww!" yelled Travis as one of the soldiers hit him.

They were all knocked unconsious and were transported to the other dimension. Haou saw what happened, but was too late to do anything.

"Those soldiers. They were..." said Haou.

Meanwhile in the other dimension:

"What happened?" groaned Nick.

"Where are those soldiers that attacked us?" asked Rein.

"If you really want to know, I saw them go in that temple." said Zane.

"Wait. This is Exodia's Temple." said Nick.

"Exodia?!" said Cody.

"You are indeed correct, Nick." said a voice.

"Huh? You're Exodia's Keeper." said Nick.

"Yes. And I know what did this to you." said E.K. "Follow me into the temple."

They all went into the temple and the mysterious voice is still watching Zane.

"Heh, heh, heh. Yes go into the temple." said the voice. "Now to put matters into my hands."

"As you know, Exodia's power is so great, we had to keep him sealed inside his tomb." said E.K.

("That much power, huh?" thought Zane.)

"Yeah, I know. His power is so great, his darker half would use it to take over all the dimensions. Including the pocket dimension Neo Domino City." said Nick. "I'm still finding a way to stop him from getting complete in the card game."

("What?! Even Cunningham isn't strong enough to stop it?!" thought Zane.)

"Indeed Exodia's dark half, Exodia Necross, has been dying to have his power." said E.K. "And so that we see he's not going anywhere, we have kept him in this chasm that is sealed by those 5 tombstones."

"They all have one part of Exodia written on them." said Rein.

"Yes they do. In fact, those parts of Exodia are the chains on Exodia Necross to keep him restrained." said E.K. "I swore that I will always serve master Exodia till the end of time."

"So can you tell me why those soldiers brought us here?" asked Nick.

"You see, some soldiers here are still loyal to Exodia Necross." said E.K. "I fear he may have found someone to set him free."

Zane was too lost in his mind to hear what E.K. was saying. Instead he was still thinking about all the power Exodia holds.

("All that power... kept inside that tomb." thought Zane.)

("You desire power, correct?" said the voice talking to Zane in his head.)

("Who said that?!" thought Zane.)

("I am Exodia Necross." said E.N. "I am Exodia's dark half and I too desire his power. If you can release the seal to my prison, I shall be your loyal servant and you get what you desire the most. So tell me, what is it that you desire most?")

Zane had a crazy, angry look on his face and had a maniacal smile.

("Power! I desire Power! Power to eliminate all that stands in the way of my destiny!" thought Zane. "But most of all, I want power to eliminate Nick Cunningham once and for all!")

("I see. The Boy of Chaos is your enemy." said E.N.)

("He's the reason why I'm stuck in this realm in the first place!" thought Zane.)

("So do we have a deal, master?" said E.N.)

("Of course we have a deal!" thought Zane. "Now the only problem is how do I find the key to your seal?)

"Well, I don't see how it's one of us and we'd never set him free." said Nick. "Besides, you're the one who has the key to break the seal."

"Indeed, I do." said E.K. as he dug into his pocket.

E.K. pulled out of his pocket the "Contract with Exodia" spell card.

("Heh, heh, heh. Cunningham, you dimwitted fool." thought Zane.)

Zane went into action and ran to E.K. and snatched the card away from him.

"Zane, what are you doing?" asked Nick.

"Heh, heh, heh." laughed Zane. "(laughs maniacally) Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Isn't it obvious? I've been waiting for such a power like this and now I have the key to it as well!"

"Zane, don't be so foolish. Hand over the card!" yelled Nick.

"Shut up! I'm done following you around. I'm done with everyone!" yelled Zane. "But Rachel, if you want to join me in my power..."

"You're insane if you'd think I would join you!" yelled Rachel. "Now just hand back the card!"

"Fine! If that is how you're going to be, then... I activate "Contract with Exodia"! Break this seal in the name of your master!" shouted Zane.

"ZANE!" shouted Nick as he ran to get the card from him.

Nick rushed over to try and stop him, but a giant wave of energy blew him back, realizing that it was too late. The tombstones broke and jumped out of the chasm was Exodia Necross.

"At last, I am free!" yelled E.N. "I thank you, my master."

"What?!" yelled Rein.

"Do you have any idea what you have just done?!" shouted Nick.

"Yes. I have unleashed the power I was destined to have." said Zane. "Now lead me to Exodia's tomb!"

Exodia Necross turned into his card and floated in the air, showing him where Exodia is.

"This way, master." said E.N. as he floated to the tomb.

Zane ran and followed after the card.

"Come on. We have to stop him!" yelled Nick as he rushed to catch him.

Nick and the gang followed after him and they have reached their destination: Exodia's tomb.

"Zane! Stop this now!" shouted Nick.

Zane grabbed the five cards that have the five pieces of Exodia on them.

"Why isn't he released?" asked Zane.

"In order for him to be released by the cards, the wielder of the cards must be proven worthy by oposing someone in a battle." said E.N. "In your case, a Duel."

"It looks like I'm not proven worthy to release Exodia, unless I battle someone." said Zane. "In your case, Cunningham, I challenge you to a Duel!"

"How can you Duel me when you don't have a Duel Disk?!" asked Nick.

"That Duel Disk of your seems to look quite well." said E.N. "Like it was fit for a King. In that case..."

Exodia Necross used his magic to form an exact replica of Nick's Duel Disk, but the features for the Duel Disk were changed. (quote: In case you're wondering what Zane's new Duel Disk looks like, it's really dark gray and has a golden millenium eye in the middle and on both sides of the eye, there is the Deck Zone and the Fusion/Extra Deck Zone. The Monster Card Zones and Spell & Trap Card Zones stay the same.)

"Alright. Now let's get this Duel on the road." said Zane.

"Fine! But if I win, you give back the cards you took from us." said Nick.

"Fine." said Zane.

"Since I've seen you Duel before, I know all your tricks and I'm getting the hang of using strategies." said Zane. "Anyways, I go first."

Zane: Turn 1
I draw. I play 1 card face-down and I summon "Soldier of the Forbidden One"(LV3/DARK/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK/800 DEF/1200) Now I activate his effect, when he's summoned successfully, I can Special Summon a number of "Soldier of the Forbidden One"(s) from my Deck for every card in my hand, so I Special Summon 4 "Soldier of the Forbidden One"(s)(LV3/DARK/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK/800 DEF/1200) Now I activate their other effects, by discarding 1 card from my hand with "Forbidden One" in its name, their names are treated as the discarded "Forbidden One" card. And as it just so happens that I already have 4 "Forbidden One" cards in my hand, so I discard my hand and 4 of my "Soldier of the Forbidden One"(s) are treated as their discarded "Forbidden One" cards. I end my turn. Now I activate their other effect, since it's my End Phase, the discarded "Forbidden One" cards are put into my Spell & Trap Card Zones as Continuous Spell Cards. (Nick says: How come?) Don't worry. You'll see next turn.

(all Spells & Traps are destroyed) (Zane counters: You just destroyed my "Forbidden Draw" Trap card and thanks to its effect, if it was destroyed while face-down, by sending 1 "Forbidden One" card from my Deck to the Graveyard, I can draw cards from my Deck equal to the number of "Forbidden One" cards in my Graveyard, so I send the final piece "Exodia, the Forbidden One"(LV3/DARK/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK/1000 DEF/1000) to the Graveyard and draw 5 cards since the five pieces of Exodia are in my Graveyard. (Zane: Hand: 5) Next, I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) Now I activate his effect, by tributing him, I can Special Summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) from my hand. (Zane: Hand: 5) Now I activate the of "The Ultimate Ritual of the Forbidden Lord" Spell Card in my Graveyard. (Nick thinks: No!) So now I return all the "Forbidden One" cards in my Graveyard to my Deck. and I send 2 "Forbidden One" cards from my hand to my Graveyard and Special Summon "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord"(LV10/DARK/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK/0 DEF/0) from my Deck. Now his effect activates, while he's on the field, his ATK are increased by the number of Normal Monsters in my Graveyard and since I sent 2 pieces of Exodia to the Graveyard, he gains 2000 ATK. (ATK: 2000) Now I play the spell "Forbidden Power", if I control 1 "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord" on my side of the field, I can send 1 card with "Forbidden One" in its name from my Deck to the Graveyard and I can add 2 cards with "Forbidden One" in their name to my hand and he gains 1000 ATK, so I send "Right Leg of the Forbidden One"(LV2/LIGHT/Spellcaster/ATK/200 DEF/300) to the Graveyard, giving him another 1000 ATK. "I always knew you were jealous of me." said Nick. "Thinking that I get all the glory, but I never thought you would resort to this."

"So what if I was?" said Zane. "I have power now. And I'm gonna use it to eliminate you once and for all! Then I'll have all the glory, unlike you."

"I don't fight to get noticed. I fight to protect the people I care about." said Nick. "Whether it's friends or enemies, I'll risk my life in order to do just that."

"Don't you know that the only way to survive is to destroy all that stands in your way?" asked Zane.

"I'll prove to you that's nothing but lies!" shouted Nick as his power of the Chaos Realm burned with confidence.

I draw. I play another "Level Draw", so I choose "Zeo The Chaos Warrior", so I draw 3 cards. (Nick: Hand: 5) Now I play the spell "Double Summon", so I summon both "Chaos Spirit Landcaron"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/900 DEF/850) and "Chaos Spirit Forestor"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1200 DEF/2000) Now "Chaos Spirit Searon" and "Chaos Spirit Forestor" use "Spirit Cross Fusion" to summon "Chaos Spirit Plateau"(LV6/EARTH/Spirit/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2100 DEF/1500) Now I play the spell "Pot of Greed", so I draw 2 cards. (Nick: Hand: 3) Next, I activate another "Pot of Greed", so I draw 2 more cards. (Nick: Hand: 4) Now "Chaos Spirit Plateau" attack! Now his effect activates, during each of my Battle Phases, once per turn, I can return 1 monster on my opponent's side of the field to his/her Deck, so "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord" is sent back to your Deck. (Zane says: NOO!!) Now his second effect activates, he can attack a number of times equal to half the number of cards in my hand and since there's 4, he can attack 2 times, so 4200 points of damage are coming your way. (Zane: AAARGH!!/ LP 1600) Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" END THIS!!! (Zane counters: No! NO! I WON'T ALLOW THIS!! I play the Quick-Play Spell "Clash of the Titans", when this card is activated, I can select 1 monster on the field and we both take damage equal to double the ATK of the selected monster.)

"Cunningham!!!" roared Zane. "Even when I had you cornered, you still found a way around it!"

Just then the statue of Exodia started to glow and break.

"What's going on?" asked Zane.

"Exodia now thinks you're worthy to wield him." said E.N.

"NOOO!!" yelled Nick.

Exodia emerged from the statue and laid his hand out at Zane.

"We should be going now." said E.N.

"Right. Until Next time, Cunningham." said Zane. "You'll fall soon enough. Aren't you coming, Keeper?"

"He would never come with you." said Nick. "Right, Keeper? Keeper?"

"I said I swore to serve Exodia until the end of time." said E.K. "That means through the good times and also the dreadful times such as this. I'm sorry, old friend."

E.K. formed a ball of light around the others and he got on Exodia's hand and they flew abd broke the ceiling of the tomb.

"No! Wait!" yelled Rein as he rushed to stop them.

Nick strechted his arm out in front of Rein to stop him.

"Let him go." said Nick.

"What?! But Nick..." said Rein.

"Zane's not the type to give up that easily." said Nick. "And by looking at his face, I can tell he'll be coming after us soon enough."

The ball of light then shined brighter.

"What's going on?!" yelled Cody.

"We're being transported back to Sunrise Mountain." said Nick.

The light then faded and they were transported back to Sunrise Mountain, where Haou was waiting.

"(groaning)" said everyone.

"Nick. Everyone. Are you okay?" asked Haou.

"We're fine." said Nick.

"By the way, did he..." asked Haou knowing what might happen.

"I'm afraid so." said Nick.

"There wasn't anything we could do." said Rein.

"How can we stop him now?" asked Cody all disappointed.

As Nick looked at everyone disappointed, he said...

"We may not know how to stop him, but I do know this, he'll be back and we'll be ready." said Nick. "With all of us together, there's no one who can stop us."

Their turned from disappointed to happy after hearing what Nick said.

"Alright." announced a boy. "The path is open! We can go now!"

"Let's go." said Nick. "Next stop, Neo Domino City."

"YEAH!!!" cheered everyone.

Card of the Day: "Chaos Spirit Plateau"

Nick and Zane's Duel now comes to a close, but Exodia and his dark half are under Zane's control. At first they were sad, but thanks to Nick's encouragement, they were able to move on with their journey. "Next Chapter"! Nick and everyone finally arrive in Neo Domino City. While Nick was checking everybody in at the tallest hotel in Neo Domino, everyone was taking in the sights of the city. Nick and the gang then go and visit an old friend of his to see if he knew anything about what's going on, but until he could let them answer their questions, he asked Nick to help test out one of his Deck's. Will Nick finally get his answers, or will he be stuck there testing out his friends other Deck's? Find out next time. Until then, KEEP ON DUELING!!

("We may not know how to stop him, but I do know this, he'll be back and we'll be ready. With all of us together, there's no one who can stop us." explained Nick.)

("YEAH!!!" yelled Everyone.)

The story continues:

Everyone got back on the interdimensional Expressroid and while riding for 45 minutes, they have arrived.

"Here we are." says Nick. "Neo Domino City."

"Wow!" said a person. "Look over there." said another person. "Look at the size of this place." said a third person.

They soon stopped at the station and everyone got off. Nick had to pay for everyone, though, but not it real world currency. He had to pay in stars from each of his cards, which was no problem really. Anyways, everyone was walking together, following Nick to the tallest hotel there is in Neo Domino.

"Alright." yelled Nick. I'm going check everyone in, but since some of the rooms of this hotel are occupied, some of you people might get roomates while the others have the room to theirselves.

"Aw man!" said a person. "Come on!" said another person. "I hope I get a room all to myself." said another person.

"Alright." yelled Nick. "While we still have some time, you people can choose your roomates. Since we're gonna stuck here for a while, you don't have a choice. Everyone just ran off in groups, without knowing that the security cameras from school are following them and watching them. The cameras are also watching Nick and the gang.

Meanwhile back on earth:

"You have a brave kid there, Cunningham." says Dr. Schneizel. "He's a true leader."

"Yeah, he sure is." says Nick's Dad.

"ZANE!!!!!" screamed a woman crying.

"Poor woman." said Dr. Schneizel. "Her son giving into power was too much for her to bear, but I'm sure your son bring him and everyone back home safe. Especially him."

"I sure hope you're right." said Nick's Dad.

Meanwhile back in Neo Domino:

"Alright." said Nick. "I got everyone checked in. Now let's go."

"Go where?" asked Rein.

"To find some answers." Nick answered "And I know just the guy to go to."

Nick and the gang were walking until they stopped at a small building that looked like a house.

"Link?" said Nick, knocking on the door. "Link, are you there?"

Then the door opened all the way but there was no one at the door. They soon went into the building and all through the place there was notes, cards, and also computers.

"So this Link kid, he's sort of a braniac, right?" asked Cody.

"You might call him that." answered Nick. "He's also a card creator, too. Whenever he gets an idea in his head, he just has to make it and/or write it down. He doesn't clean up afterwords, though."

Just when Nick was about to go to the next room, a kid with grey hair, with a white coat on and has glasses like Carly from Yugioh 5D's swooped down and is hanging from the ceiling surprised them.

"What's up?" said a voice.

"AAH!" screamed Nick. "Link! Will you quit doing that everytime someone visits?"

"Sorry, I just felt bored. That's all." said Link.

"Anyways, do you have any information on the darkness surrounding the city?" asked Nick.

"I've been working on that." said Link. "Still no answer, but don't worry. This city's force field keeps out that shroud of darkness, so anymore questions?"

"Do you know the whereabouts of D.C.Q. and her servants?" asked Nick.

"I might tell you." said Link. "If you can help me."

"With what?" asked Nick.

"Since I've created some card ideas, I've made those ideas into decks." explained Link. "Test Decks to be exact and I have been wanting someone to Duel me so I can test them out. Will you Duel me, Nick?"

"Alright." said Nick. "I've been waiting for some action since I got here."

"Great!" yelled Link.

"Why don't you Duel me when you create new cards?" asked ????.

"Who's that?" asked Rachel.

"Oh. That's my Mechanically Engineered Computerized Helper." explained Link.

"Or M.E.C.H. for short." says Nick.

"Don't worry, MECH." said Link. "I'll get to you."

Link then pushed a button on his computer that opened a containment panel on the metal table where his computer is and out came 2 Test Decks.

"Choose one.", asked Link.

"The one on the right.", said Nick.

"Ah. Good choice.", says Link happily

Link grabbed the Deck and his Duel Disk. (quote: His Duel Disk looks exactly like Nick's, except it's blue.)

"Follow me.", said Link.

Everyone then followed Link downstairs and he turned on the lights. And everyone saw there was a giant Duel arena down there.

"How can you build all this?", asked Alice.

"He has helpers.", answered Nick.

"Like who?", asked Cody.

"Ahem.", said MECH on the intercom.

"Oh, right. Sorry.", said Cody

"Let's go.", said Link

"You don't have to tell me twice.", said Nick.

I summon "Synchronized Angel"(LV4/LIGHT/Fairy/Tuner/ATK/1500 DEF/1000) Next, I play the spell "Double Summon", so I can summon another "Synchronized Angel"(LV4/LIGHT/Fairy/Tuner/ATK/1500 DEF/1000) Now I'm tuning both of my "Synchronized Angel"(s). (Nick says: You can't do that. Synchro Summons are only done with only 1 Tuner.) I've found a way around that. Thanks to the effects of my "Synchronized" monsters, my Synchro Summons can be done with more than just 1 Tuner. As I said before, I'm tuning both my "Synchronized Angel"(s)(LV4 + LV4) to Synchro Summon "Synchronized Giant Raven"(LV8/WIND/Winged-Beast/Synchro/Tuner/ATK/2400 DEF/2600) (Nick says: A Tuner Synchro Monster?) The fun doesn't stop there. I activate the effects of both my "Synchronized Angel"(s), if they were used in a Synchro Summon, I gain 1000 LP and since 2 of them were used, I gain 2000 LP. (Link: LP 10000) I play 2 cards face-down and end my turn.

"How do you like the Deck so far?", asked Link.

"It's awesome!", exclaimed Nick. "Why didn't I think of it?"

(Nick: Hand: 9) Now I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) Now I play the spell "Triple Summon", so I can summon 2 more times, so I summon "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) and "Chaos Spirit Landcaron"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/900 DEF/850) Now "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior", "Chaos Spirit Searon", and "Chaos Spirit Landcaron" use "Triple Cross Fusion" to Fusion Summon "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior"(LV9/FIRE/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/3000 DEF/2600) Now his effect activates, he gains 400 ATK & DEF for every card in both our Graveyards and that makes a combined number of 4, so he gains 1600 ATK & DEF. (3000 + 1600 = 4600 ATK/ 2600 + 1600 = 4200 DEF) Now "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior" destroy his "Synchronized Giant Raven". (Link counters: I activate the Continuous Trap "Synchronized Guard", when this card is activated, by removing 1 "Synchronized" monster from my Graveyard from play, I can negate your attack and your monster's ATK & DEF go down 400 points.) (4600 - 400 = 4200 ATK/ 4200 - 400 = 3800 DEF) I play 1 card face-down and I play the Field Spell "Chaos Realm", so "Zeo" gets 1000 ATK & DEF stronger. (Link: Hand: 5) Next, I play the spell "Cost Down", so all monsters in my hand have their levels decreased by 2. Now I summon "Synchronized Archfiend"(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Tuner/ATK/1500 DEF/1500) Now I tune my "Synchronized Giant Raven"(LV8) with my "Synchronized Archfiend"(LV4) to Synchro Summon "Synchronized Dragon"(LV12/DARK/Dragon/Synchro/Tuner/ATK/3000 DEF/3000) (Nick says: You forget that since you sent more cards to your Graveyard, "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior" gets stronger. (5200 + 1600 = 6800 ATK/ 4800 + 1600 = 6400 DEF) Now I activate the effects of my "Synchronized" monsters, "Archfiend"(s) effect allows me to send a Tuner monster from my Deck to my Graveyard. (Nick says: Which gives "Zeo" more strength. (6800 + 400 = 7200 ATK/ 6400 + 400 = 6800 DEF) "Giant Raven"(s) effect returns all Spell and Trap Cards on the field to the owner's hand. Now I play another "Double Summon", so I summon "Synchronized Arsonist"(LV3/FIRE/Pyro/Tuner/ATK/1500 DEF/500) Now I play a spell card you know as "Level Draw", so I pay 500 LP (Link: LP 9500) and I select "Synchronized Dragon", so I draw 6 cards. (Link: Hand: 6) (Nick says: You're only making "Zeo" more stronger. (7200 + 800 = 8000 ATK/ 6800 + 800 = 7600 DEF) Now I play the Field Spell "Reverse-Synchronized Realm" (Nick says: What does that do?) You're about to find out. Now I tune my "Synchronized Dragon"(LV12) with my "Synchronized Arsonist"(LV3). (Nick says: But there isn't a level above 12 in the game.) Now "Reverse-Synchronized Realm"(s) effect activates, when a monster is used for a Synchro Summon, its controller can instead have the level of the monster be treated as its current level multiplied by -1. (Nick says: Meaning "Arsonist"(s) level becomes -3.) Right. Now as I was saying, I tune my "Dragon"(LV12) with my "Arsonist"(LV-3) to Synchro Summon "Synchronized Leviathan"(LV9/WATER/Sea Serpent/Synchro/Tuner/ATK/2700 DEF/2700) Now I activate the effects of my "Synchronized" monsters, First, "Dragon"(s) effect destroys all face-up monsters on the field except face-up "Synchronized" monsters, so "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior" is destroyed. (Nick counters: I activate from my hand, the Quick-Play Spell "Awakening of Zeo", when a Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" is destroyed, I can Special Summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) from my Deck. And thanks to "Chaos Realm", he gains 1000 ATK & DEF. (2500 + 1000 = 3500 ATK/ 2200 + 1000 = 3200 DEF) So you can't attack me.) But I can inflict damage to you. "Arsonist"(s) effect inflicts 1500 points of damage to you. (Nick: LP 6000) I play 1 card face-down and end my turn.

"This Deck is awesome!" yelled Link. "I think I might use this in the tournament coming up."

"What tournament?", asked Nick.

"The Duelist Rising Tournament at the Kaibadome." answered Link. "The director of the city announced it to all the dimensions last week. I know I'm gonna win with this Deck. You should enter, too."

"Why not? Could be fun.", said Nick. "Alright. Let's finish this Duel now."

"How are you gonna do that?", asked Link

"I always have a way out of everything. You'll see.", said Nick

I draw. (smiles) I play the spell "Gift of Forgiveness", by paying 1000 LP, I can draw 3 cards. (Nick: Hand: 5) (smiles) I equip "Zeo" with "Chaos Sword" and "Zeo Strike". First, "Chaos Sword" gives "Zeo" an extra 1000 ATK. (3500 + 1000 = 4500 ATK) Second, "Zeo Strike" gives him an extra 800 ATK. (4500 + 800 = 5300 ATK) And not only that, when he successfully destroys a monster, the destroyed monsters ATK are dealt to you as damage. Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" destroy his "Synchronized Leviathan" and when "Zeo" attacks, he gains 500 ATK. (5300 + 500 = 5800 ATK) (Link counters: I activate the Continuous Trap "Synchronized Guard") I play the Quick-Play Spell "Mystical Space Typhoon", so you trap is destroyed. (Link thinks: He really does have a way to get out of everything.) (Link: LP 6400) Now "Zeo Strike"(s) effect activates. (Link: LP 3700) (Link says: I still have LP.) Not for long. Since it's still my Battle Phase, I can activate the Quick-Play Spell "Graveyard Cross Fusion", when this card is activated, if there is a Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" in my Graveyard, I can send the Material Monsters from my field or Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summon the Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" from my Graveyard, so I send "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500), "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) and "Chaos Spirit Landcaron"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/900 DEF/850) to the Graveyard and revive "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior"(LV9/FIRE/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/3000 DEF/2600) Now his effect activates, which means his ATK go all the way up to... (8800 + 3000 = 11800 ATK) "Now "Zeo The Erupting Chaos Warrior" END THIS!!!" yelled Nick. (A giant maelstrom of fire surrounded Link and his Life Point meter dropped to 0.)

When the fire let up, Link was standing there, all burnt up, but he's alive. Then he fell on his back with a silly look on his face.

"That... was... incredible.", said Link all tired.

"Sorry about that.", said Nick. "You're all right, aren't you?"

Then, as quick as he could, he got back up and he was feeling great as ever.

"I've never felt so alive!", yelled Link. "Now to answer your question from before, please follow me."

Everyone followed Link to a secret door inside the basement. Behind the door was his lab.

"Okay.", said Link. "I've been doing some research on the flow of Darkness outside the city. Knowing that I couldn't research it just by watching it, I went outside the city and got a sample of the Darkness. It's in this jar, but I still can't make anything with it."

"What would happen if you opened it?", asked Cody.

"That's what I'm gonna find out.", answered Link. "Stand back."

Everyone stood back as Link opened the jar and out came a tiny dark aura that took the form of a spider and landed in Link's right hand.

"It looks like it's harmless." said Link.

Then the spider crawled into the sleeve of Link's coat and Link's eyes widened, then a purple mark of a spider was glowing on his wrist.

"Link!", yelled Nick. "Link, are you okay?"

"I'm more than okay.", said Link with a distorted voice. "I'm a Dark Signer."

"A Dark Signer?!", yelled Nick. "Then I was right. There are more people here besides D.C.Q. I just didn't think it was them."

"Now I have a question for you." said Link. "Are you ready for a rematch with my new and improved "Synchronized" Deck?"

Nick's face was angry about what they did to Link, so he only had one choice.

"Bring it on.", said Nick.

They went back to the Duel Arena and they have their Duel Disks ready. Then a circle of purple fire surrounded Nick and Link and they both shouted...

"Let's Duel!", shouted Nick & Link.

Card of the Day: "Synchronized Dragon"

Link finally tested out his Deck, but Nick was victorius. But I'm afraid now thing are going to be a lot worse now that Link turned into a Dark Signer. "Next Chapter"! Link's new and improved "Synchronized" Deck has really taken its anger out on Nick in their life or death battle. Will Nick come out alive, or will he fall under the power of the Dark Signers?
