Well that was a stupid chapter, imo. Why not do that in the first place, Tobi?

^Keep in mind he might be bluffing. He's being pushed into a corner right now and he's trying to wrap things up as quickly as possible. It's very likely the Juubi being revived in this manner has a sort of drawback that can lead to an exploitation in the genjutsu.
The one thing I noticed was that Tobi seemed VERY familiar with Kakashi; he cited his life of regret and seemed to know him well.

But couldn't he put the world in an imperfect Infinite Tsukuyomi, then get Bee and Naruto and complete it? Of course, this plan is ruined if the 10 tails can not accept the 8 or 9 tails after being reborn.

Maybe, but I think the other thing to it is doing it the original way would get rid of all the Jinchurikis. Facing no Bijuu is preferable than facing 2 that are still alive; although it doesn't seem as though it'll make a difference considering even Kurama admitted he'd lose.

He said he would have preferred to revive it in its full state, but then again, he said he didn't need to. I'm just glad that we're finally focusing solely on this battle. As for Tobi's familiarity with Kakashi, I wonder if Kishimot is really setting him up to be Obito.

If Tobi is Obito, Kishi will have trolled us all...all of the Obito theorists will have their egos doubled and unbalance what little sensibility and credence the intelligent parts of the internet had and start the downward spiral into chaos. Several others will take a beating and have to swallow their pride to admit they were wrong. Those who stay silent will be tormented with the knowledge that they were out-predicted by fanboys they considered to be on levels much beneath them.
Him being Obito won't just affect the fan base...it'll change the internet as we know it.

That was a fun one-shot; anime filler would be a lot more fun if they had the whole gang get into antics like those. And now I'm even more pumped for the movie that I won't be able to watch for another year or so...

When you said you had yet to catch up, I was curious if you would be confused by Sage Mode Naruto.

She's the only one that's thrown herself under a bus for him (out of the females) and Sakura has only ever had to be saved BY Naruto, who constantly throws himself under a bus for her.
