Ben says:

*wait... do you think DAD is a good card?

Ben says:

*It is nearly impossible to summon

Discuss this card YCM. How many DARKs should you main before DAD is a must? We all know people will scream "@0 on a good list" so let's just talk about its use while it's unbanned rather than its lack of use on a "good list."

This card is terrible. 3 Darks is hard to get' date=' unless you play bad cards to remove cards from your graveyard.

So true...

Anyway, it depends not so much on how many darks, but what variety they are. In zombies, there is so much graveyard control that you pretty much have to run it regardless. Outside of zombies 6 or 7 to 1 is a good ratio.

Pot of Avarice? Soul Release? That's what I'd use. Preferably PoA.

DAD is well worth the summoning conditions. But considering that, I can see it going to 2. Many decks get 3+ darks in the deck so quickly that DAD does become a dead draw.

Also fun with Phantom of Chaos

Powerful card should stay limited at most' date=' semi at least.

He's fast, deadly, and has massive support.

More like, Stay at 1 if not banned...

Possibly the most splashable boss monster in the game ever. That's maybe arguable with CED.

Dude, CED is on a WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL!

CED is a H-bomb, DAD and JD together is just a nuke. which has moar power?

And if we add Yata to CED we've got a Q-Bomb.

Ok, more emphasis on splashable than boss-monster...

As expected of VK-Duelist. CED cannot be mentioned without him popping up to spout some noise about Yata.

Even then, CED has less restrictions. He only needs 1 Dark and 1 Light. Which isn't that hard to get.

That's what he means, DAD is the most splashable boss-monster aside from CED :S

Oh....

Well, yeah, he's the most splashable boss monster that ISN'T banned.

Well, not true. Coming soon there's Sin Cyber End Dragon. IKD if that's a boss monster, but it's more splashable than DAD.

No it isn't. You need a field spell to use him. Fewer decks run fields than run darks.

Eh, maybe not meta decks, but you can run it in Fortune Ladies, Zombies, Etc.
