alrighty, already working on my 3rd set and i think its a doozy
this deck is based (mostly) off of greek mythology of the underworld which is why i'm having fun researching and looking into these cards :D
they are called the underworld monsters, and they are essentially a darkworld deck that also work from the field and account for being removed from play it also works well from the grave (via special summoning). idk if that's too op'ed, but that's why i'm polling YOU GUYS
please tell me if i should limit the triggers to the effects so i can make these cards not too god.

***note, no tuners or synchros. the deck works better without them***

[spoiler= Weak Underworld Monsters]

Lore: FLIP: For every "Underworld" monster in your graveyard or removed from play, the controller of this card gains 200 life points. This monster cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is discarded from the hand by card effect, sent from the field to the graveyard, or removed from play, your opponent loses 500 life points and sends the top card of their deck to the graveyard.

If this card is discarded from your hand by card effect, Special Summon it in face-down defense mode during the end phase.

You can send from the field to the graveyard one "Underworld" monster on your side of the field to destroy one monster and one spell or trap card your opponent controls.

Lore: When this card is flipped face-up, place one Obol Counter on every monster on the field. When an opponent's monster with an Obol Counter is sent from the field to the graveyard, remove it from play instead. When an "Underworld" monster with an Obol Counter is sent from the field to the graveyard, remove the Obol Counter instead of destroying the monster.

Lore: Cards that are sent from the Deck, hand, or field to the graveyard are instead removed from play. You can discard or tribute one "Underworld" monster you control to have your opponent skip their next main phase 1.

Lore: When an "Underworld" monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, remove that monster from play and return one spell or trap card on the field to the owner's hand. When an "Underworld" monster is sent from the field to the graveyard, put one Underworld Counter on this card. When this card has 5 Underworld Counters on it, you may send this card to the graveyard to special summon up to two "Underworld" monsters from your graveyard.

Lore: All "Underworld" monsters on the field gain 300 ATK and DEF points. When a monster is special summoned from the graveyard the controller of this card randomly selects one card in their opponent's hand and removes it from play. and there ya have it, these are all the underworlds i got so far
while posting these i was thinking if i should give the monsters different effects for different situations (such as one effect if discarded from the hand, another if removed from play, and another if sent from the field to the graveyard)... i think that'd be more interesting.

you're right, this set bored me as well. i gave up on it after nobody gave me any friggin feedback on it. but hey, whatever.
idk what my next set'll be but it will be very good

Weak Underworld Monsters
-Minos: 5/10
Minos is a bit op.The flip effect will only happens once since you can't flip it back face down again so that's fine.But I think you should tone it down by either removing the-[b]This monster cannot be destroyed by battle[/b] or either just choose 1 of these [b]When this card is discarded from the hand by card effect[/b], [b]sent from the field to the graveyard[/b], or [b]removed from play[/b], your opponent [b]loses 500 life points[/b] and [b]sends the top card[/b] of their deck to the graveyard.

-Rhamanthus:8/10
There's nothing wrong with this card at all.But because it special summon Minos which is kinda broken..may make it broken too but if you fix minos than this card would probably be the best card in this set.

-Aeacus:6/10
Not the best or the worst card but quite average. Also magic should be Spell..Maybe tone it down and choose just either 1:discarded from your hand by card effect, sent from the field to the graveyard, or removed from play.Because since you used all, no matter what your opponent do, you would alway get what you want. Also, make it either from Deck or Graveyard.

-Army:7/10
It's a good card, just either choose one between this effect:discarded from your hand by card effect, sent from the field to the graveyard, or removed from play.

-Charon:8/10
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can activate the following effect:
*send one monster on your opponent's side of the field to the graveyard.
*Special Summon one "Underworld" monster from your graveyard.
I really like this card, it balance and all. Though again, you should either pick 1 between discarded from the hand by card effect, sent from the field to the graveyard, or removed from play

Strong Underworld Monsters
-Cerberus:8.5/10
I really like this card. It doesn't lean on op or underpowered.

Hades and Persephone, the Lords of the Underworld
-Persephone: 7/10
While this monster is face-up on the field, all "Underworld" monsters are unaffected by your opponents [b]T[/b]rap, [b]S[/b]pell, and [b][b]E[/b]ffect Monsters[/b]. If the controller of this card also controls "Hades- Lord of the Underworld" you can sacrifice this monster to special summon up to four "Underworld" monsters from your graveyard. If this card is discarded from your hand by card effect, Special Summon it in face-down [b]D[/b]efense [b]Position[/b] during the end phase.
I like the effect surrounding this card. Nothing much to say

-Hades:9/10
Hades maybe the best card on the set imo..but I think I saw someone also used this pic for a hades card..Nothing much to say about it.

For the spell and trap, I might say it's a perfect fit for supports, so overall I would give it a 7.5/10 dude!!

ya see, i wanted to include all three because i wanted to make it like a combo of darkworld and different dimension. but i guess i can get rid of the "sent from the field to the graveyard"
plus i wanted to see if i should have a different effect for each situation. like if its removed from the field one thing happens, but if its discarded from the hand another thing happens
thats what i kinda wanted to base this deck around

These are amazing. Being into Greek Mythology myself, these card really appeal to me :)
Firstly the weaker cards are good and as a total for them all a 8/10.

The stronger card 9/10, stunning look, feel and isn't OP'd
The lords 9.5/10. In my opinion probably the best cards in the set so far. They flow well.

All in all they work well. A few spelling/ OCG errors but the total score 8.5/10. I love them

Also I'd like to point out that I havnt seen this post till now and I'm creating my own set which I posted a few days ago.
I did not in any way mean to copy this as, like i said just before, i havnt seen this post until today. While mine are not based on greek mythology, they do have the same "Of the Underorld" part. While this is mere coincidence and they only have 1 relation, I would not mind if you wanted me to discontinue this set I am currently creating as I have many more ideas and paths I could follow. Since you posted yours on the 2nd Feb and mine was posted on the 9th, I believe you have copyright over the name ".....of the Underworld" an, as stated before, am willing to stop creating my set. I thought I would let you know just incase something happened, and issues got out of hand.
