[spoiler= Bits and Pieces of the Story]
When the Duel Academy, the last place on Earth still training the elite, was destroyed it seemed as though the young students, after hundreds of years, after seeing amazing students such as Jaden and Zane and those as destructive as Akiza, would no longer have a potential to be trained in the art of dueling. Cards were lost, millions, only those found in archives or ancient ruins, deck boxes found from within the sea were containing cards. The ancient artifacts known as Yugioh Cards were unearthed and quickly went into repoduction. No old sets, however, were reproduced. Only the new was valued, the old was tossed aside. The Oni and Ancient Tikiri amongst others were quickly found in family grounds. The ancient sets were slowly being revealed. Rumors of their powers had been passed around, it would seem they were true. The six temples came together, forming a new academy, forming a lure for the controlers of the unfufilled power.
The Students of each house are taught in certain stradegies based upon that of their Head Masters' combined with their own cards. The Head Master's struggle within eachother for control of the most deciples, the inherited ancient decks are the dreams of each temple.

[spoiler= Ideas Behind Sonics]
The Sonic Archtype is based on pairs of cards, the lower level Monsters range from 1 - 4 stars and then do to one effect or another, which is activated during the opponents Standby Phase you have the chance to Special Summon the advanced form of the lower level, these cards have 3 stars more than their first form and therefore range from 4 -7 stars, they are the same attribute, type and have te same DEF as their first form, their attack has been increased by the new level times 200 + 100. The Abilities of the second stage are more advance versions of the first form, and the Monsters are much more deadly.
