Boss Z
Lock Down on Everything
I recently bought a jacket/shirt/thing, its this cool white collared shirt looking thin with a hood and some strange placed pockets I put it in my closet and I put it next to a green undershirt I have and then put away my black jeans And I stopped and the colors made me think of Vanity's Ruler... which makes me sound SO sad: Clothing made me think of a children's Card game I've hit rock bottom But I decided I wanted to build a deck around the card Then I pictured a cartoon version of myself wearing the clothing and dueling Yuma Tsukumo and Ryoga Kamishiro And I just had to build a control oriented deck

Monsters - 20 2x Vanity's Ruler 1x Medium of the Ice Barrier 1x Spellbreaker of the Ice Barrier 2x Strategist of the Ice Barrier 3x Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier 2x Crystal Seer 2x Breaker the Magical Warrior 2x Magician's Valkyria 2x Lonefire Blossom 1x Dandylion 1x Glow-up Bulb 1x Spore Spells - 10 2x Secret Village of the Spellcaster 1x Terraforming 1x Monster Reborn 2x Smashing Ground 2x Wonder Wand 1x Kaiser Colosseum 1x Book of Moon Traps - 10 2x Trap Stun 2x Seven Tools of the Bandit 2x Solemn Warning 1x Solemn Judgement 1x Mirror Force 2x Ultimate Offering Extra - 15 Generics Namely, set up slightly more for the fact its Spellcaster and Icebarrier

Its a Simple Idea, basically, you lock down your opponents Special Summoning and Spell Cards and then negate all the Trap Cards you can The more ideal form would incorporate some way to use the effects of Royal Decree and Ultimate Offering to permanently lock the field unless your opponent can get a monster with the effect to destroy a Spell or Trap Then like all good plant decks do you Synchro Summon like its your birthday about your opponent can't do much of anything about it

*The Original Concept of this deck incorporated Royal Decree, but it wasn't easy to get out Vanity's Ruler without Ultimate Offering, so it had to be changed, it still works, but its just slightly less consistent and can not continously negate Trap cards* The Final Build Resulted as such: Monsters - 20 2x Vanity's Ruler 2x General Grunard of the Ice Barrier 3x Crystal Seer 1x Dai-sojo of the Ice Barrier 3x Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier 2x Strategist of the Ice Barrier 3x Geomancer of the Ice Barrier 1x Dewdark of the Ice Barrier 2x Samurai of the Ice Barrier 1x Defender of the Ice Barrier Spells - 17 2x Secret Village of the Spellcasters 1x Terraforming 3x Wonder Wand 3x Magical Triangle of the Ice Barrier 3x Medallion of the Ice Barrier 1x Book of Moon 1x Monster Reborn 1x Dark Hole 2x Smashing Ground Traps - 3 3x Royal Decree Extra - 15 1x Arcanite Magician 1x Tempest Magician 2x Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier 1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 2x Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 2x Black Rose Dragon 1x Stardust Dragon 1x Scrap Dragon 1x Lightning Warrior 1x Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth 1x Flamvell Uruquizas
This deck attempts the abuse of "Spell Barriers" while also locking the opponent down in various other ways, namely Traps and Special Summoning (not much else to lock down on) The basic idea is to start off with the "General Rush" Tactic, by which you use Magical Triangle of the Ice Barrier to get out General Grunsard of the Ice Barrier (who somewhat replaces Ultimate Offering) Set up Royal Decree Then get out a Spellcaster and set up Secret Village of the Spellcasters Find a way to get out Vanity's Ruler Your opponent will then be completely locked down unless they can Normal Summon something that can disrupt the control Then you can add with Synchros and all that... you can get some decent Synchros out, but its completely fine without Synchros The deck has pretty high draw power, which is helpful since I need the cards to use Gungnir and Brionac most effectively This draw power just helps in general, I can't get Formula Synchron or Hyper Librerian with the cards I use... so I have to do it other ways
