Virum - Old Idea

Boss Z

Recommended Posts

There are a lot of cards posted Below... and I know many pf you won't take the time to read them, but thats fine I guess... I just hope some people do ^_^

These cards honestly are either over powered or under powered and they sorta have 2 different splits within the Archtype... there is sorta an Anti-Meta Half and a Revealing Half
The cards are basically all just for the Story Board of the FanFic I was planning on creating, they are for a Kieth Bandit -esque Character, the bad guy who comes in every couple of episodes just to screw with the main character and his friends
This is also a character who is insiting a rebelion... maybe you will be able to tell by the names of the monsters... But yeah...

Any ways, the Virum Monsters that go in the Main Deck are all Virum Shell, and they are basically just a large group of cards that I combined together... these appear to have machine like bodies and all that good stuff
Then the Virum En0 are the Synchros, of which there are only 3... as I couldn't find and other good pictures... these are more like digital / cyber beasts... yeah... they're cool

The archtype consists of DARK Attribute Machine-Type Monsters (Salvo finally has LOTs of Friends)

This Archtype doesn't really mean anything to me any more... but here it is:

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, you can return 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard to the bottom of your Deck to have this card gain 400 ATK until the End Phase of this turn.

1 "Virum" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned you can return 1 "Virum" monster in your Graveyard to the bottom of your Deck. If a "Virum" monster is successfully Normal Summoned reveal the bottom card of your Deck if it is a monster card Special Summon 1 Machine-Type monster with 400 DEF from your Deck.

1 Machine-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Virum" monsters
When a "Virum" monster destroys an opponents monster in battle you can reveal the bottom card of your Deck. If it is a Monster Card, add it to your hand and inflict 700 points of damage to your opponent. If this face-up card is selected as an attack target, switch it to Defence Position.

You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard by returning 2 face-up "Virum" monsters you control to the bottom of Deck. If this card destroys an opponents monster in battle reveal the bottom card of your Deck. If the card revealed this way is a Monster Card inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent. If the card revealed this way is a Spell/Trap card, add it to your hand.

You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard by returning 2 "Virum" monsters you control to the bottom of your Deck. If a "Virum" monster you control is selected as an attack target reveal the top card of your Deck, if it is a Spell/Trap card, negate the attack and send the revealed card to the Graveyard.

Once per turn, if you control 2 or more "Virum" monsters, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card, you can negate it's activation and destroy it. If this card destroys an opponents monster in battle, select 1 Machine-Type monster with 400 DEF or less in your Graveyard, place it at the bottom of your Deck.

If this card is destroyed by your opponents card (either by battle or card effect), return this card to the bottom of your Deck. If this card is revealed from your Deck, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent.

You can tribute this card and 1 other card you control to destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field and draw 1 card. This effect can be used during either player's turn.

If this card is revealed from your Deck inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent. If this card declares an attack it is switched to Defence Position at the end of the Battle Phase.

This card is uneffected by your opponents Spell Cards. If this card is revealed from your Deck, inlict 500 points of damage to your opponent.

If your opponent Special Summons a Tuner monster(s), you can Tribute this card to select 1 of the Special Summoned monsters, gain control of the selected monster.

If a face-up Synchro Monster you control was destroyed in battle, you can Special Summon this card from your hand to end the Battle Phase.

If this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard, reveal the bottom 2 cards of your Deck, inlict 500 points of damage to your opponent for each Monster Card revealed this way.

If this card inflicts battle damage to opponent, select 1 "Virum" monster in your Graveyard and place it on the bottom of your Deck. If this card is revealed from your Deck, Special Summon it.

If this card is revealed from your Deck destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on the field. When this card is Normal Summoned reveal the Bottom card of your Deck, if it is a Monster card add it to your hand.

Also... A little point to these guys would be if they were ever made REAL, which they clearly won't be, but if they were, they might cause a Limit upon the number of Pot Of Dualities one car run... which would be nice for those of us who can not afford the Money Card...

Return 3 "Virum" Monsters from your Graveyard to the bottom of your Deck to select 1 card on the field. Send the selected card to the Graveyard and draw 1 card.

Once per turn, if a "Virum" monster you control is destroyed by an opponents card (either in battle or by card effect) reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck. Select 1 of the cards revealed this way and add it to your hand. When this card is destroyed, add the bottom card of your Deck to your hand.

Names: All Vunderful! They sound awesome....But some are just silly when you think about it "Jubulation"? Do they have a theme to them or are they just ment to sound cool?
Pictures: Valso Vunderful! They fill me with Jubulation! They fit well together and have a nice Crisp Realistic (In terms of yu gi oh cards) look to them. Did you get them all from the same source?
Effects: I like the idea of running from the bottom of the deck but at the same time it makes the Archtype a bit on the OPed side. It wouldnt be quite as OP'ed but with the strong monsters with good effects and the fact that its almost impossible for an opponent to strike at the bottom of your deck i think its just a tab OP'ed. Im not sure what you could do to change that but at this point i doubt you want to go back and change anything anyway so....
OCG: Looked good
The Little extras: I love it when people take the time to add in things like the set # and serial # ect, The only thing i noticed was missing was the Edition but thats a tiny thing
Overall a A- Set, Far above average and was intresting enough to catch my eye over the rest of the stuff

I always make my cards Unlimited Edition, aka Un-shown

But thank you so much... The names were a combination of getting all -tion words that had something to go with Enlightenment or Revolution
Like I said about the character they will belong to... he is trying to cause rebellion and revolution

Yeah... I realize they could be a bit OP'd, but they are namely all for the story, I can't see them ever truely being real
I thought the bottom of the Deck wouldn't be too OP'd since you can't draw from the bottom with out Convulsion of Nature... which makes the Deck so much fun... and will probably be seen in my FanFic Deck...

But thank you for taking the Time to go through all of them

The pics of From Namely from Father Wolf and Jazin Kay, but I believe there are a few other people's pics in there...

A- Is better than my average in school this year <_< I'll take it ^_^
