burnpsy
Pronounce Xyz like "Ex-seize". It's a valid interpretation of the Katakana (エクシ一ズ). My source?
Greiga
Release date included? Also it actually makes sense which is rare for Konami. I wonder what Gachigachi Gantetsu and Gurensaurus will become.

Greiga
Crimson Saurus is something they would do. I predict Gachigachi Gantetsu to be Frozen Solid Golem.

White Void
If they make an XYZ Xyz....WTF would happen. This kind of makes sense why the Bugmen are X,Y,and Z though now that I think about it.
Resident Fascist
So the cards say... [Type/XYZ/Effect]? I much prefer [Type/Exceed/Effect] Other than that, that's ANOTHER POINTLESS NAME CHANGE.

evilfusion
They're calling it "Xyz Summon now"? What?! That seems so weird, though. Exceed was cooler...WAY cooler. And why? Doesn't "Exceed" in the Japanese have a very blatant "D" sound or am I just too used to "Exceed" to remember? Synchro kept its name...

evilfusion
This is possibly going to cause some absurd conflict with English vs Japanese, as the term in the subbed version is "Exceed" and yet it'll be called Xyz in the English game. So either subbers will change it and it'll look weird, or people will be using interchanged terminology for a while. Personally, I just find "Exceed" more sensical than "Xyz" (that feels like ti should be spelled with an S, not a Z)

Just like the Synchro materials "Synchronise" together. In other words, Konami ruined it.
Birkeland
Maybe Lolnami hated the Exceeds too, and changed their name to sound ridiculous. After the better batch come out, I hope Lolnami hangs it's head in shame...and into a noose bucket.

evilfusion
Well, I can't understand the words enough to spell them anyway. Such as Synchro is pronounced Shinkuro or something bizarre. Zetsubou is probably one of the easy ones.

Zetsubou is probably one of the easy ones. It is indeed "Shinkuro". The only reason it's spelt like that is because the closest they have to "Si" is "Shi", and because they need a vowel next to every non-N consonant. Guest ~King Crouton~
Where did you get this image? The typography on the logo is fake. This box was made in photoshop (and it is possible to make 3D boxes like this in photoshop. I took a digital imaging class in college) to make people rage over possible name changes. I seriously doubt XYZ will be the English name. If Hope is renamed Utopia, I can live with it.
