Yu-Gi-Oh! 6D's Passing Tourches [Started / Accepting]

It has been 125 years since the first WRGP and Team 5D's defeat of Z-ONE and them saving the future. Now six strange beings have come to this world to each create their own armies of Machine Emperors in order to destroy all synchros, these people refer to themselves as the Mechlords. Each controls a powerful deck containing their own Machine Emperor but in order to unlock their full power they most gather energy through duels and have set out to gather the necessary energy to unleash their armies.

But in this time when the world could be crushed the Crimson Dragon has chosen new champions to bear it's marks, three of which had previously tried to destroy it, they are the winners of the 25th WRGP Team 5D's consisting of Antinomy, Paradox, and Aporia. Their only hint to unraveling the strange incidents in their world is a message left by the legendary duelist Yusei Fudo warning of the possible arrival of the Machine Emperors. Now they must look for the remaining 3 signers and try to find out how the Machine Emperors will be made and how to stop them.

Personality: Antinomy is normally very cool headed especially while dueling because he employs clear mind. When he is with his other team members he is normally more laid back and enjoys working on his duel runner trying to reach new levels of speed. He tries to keep his friends out of trouble but knows that he needs there help and when to ask for it.

Bio: Antinomy was born with the Head Birthmark of the Crimson Dragon but didn't know anything about it. He eventually became a Turbo Duelist and won many tournaments but his goal was to win the WRGP like his hero Yusei Fudo but to do that he needed a team. He eventually met Aporia and Paradox and together they formed a new Team 5D's and in an amazing upset won the tournament making them the youngest champions since the first WRGP. Later Antinomy received a package sent by his idol Yusei Fudo explaining the threat of the Machine Emperors and the events that had transpired in his time line, Antinomy realized that the strange events around town were connected to this message and how much danger his world was in, now with his two team mates the new Team 5D's has decided to find the remaining signers and stop the threat of total destruction.

Personality: The Professor is enigmatic and mysterious, as well as a bit eccentric. However, he is very determined to stop those who dare pollute this world with the Synchro Destroyers once more. He is very cunning, and will play up his old, feeble body as something to be exploited to lure in his quarry.

Bio: The Professor is a mysterious participant of the events surrounding the 25th WRGP. He is apparently part of a group in pursuit of the six who have Meklords. He is also very interested in Aporia, Paradox, and Antimony. He, however, will not reveal what is going on outside of their own universe, where it seems that things are occuring on a much greater scale.

Duel Runner: Achilles duel runner's base colour is pure white. Then, pure golden strips streak across it, starting from a single point at the front and stretching out. This is the same on both sides. The front glass pane is tinted blue. The runner is capable of reaching extremely fast speeds, and creating slip streams with ease.
Personality: [color="#000080"]Achilles[/color] is friendly and energetic. He makes friends easily he's easy to like. Achilles trusts and respects his friends but will also do anything to help or protect them. He cares more about his friends than he does himself.

Bio: Achilles was born into a rich family, and grew up rich. He lived in a massive block of flats. He and his parents lived there but no one else except Achilles' butler and closest friend. As a young boy, Achilles loved to duel and became a confident duelist. He would duel anyone, any time. He used a Vylon deck, without knowing why, it just felt right.
As a young teenager he began turbo dueling and became extremely skilled, being able to peform accel and delta accel synchro. He met Paradox, Antinomy and Aporia after the WRGP and befriended them quickly. These were three more of his closest friends.Achilles was born with the tail of the crimson dragon already marked into him, and it began to glow when Antinomy received the message from Yusei. Antinomy told Achilles and he was ready for the fight. Achilles now fights alongside the signers in the war against the Machine Emperors.

Appearance: Rather tall, standing at about 5' 10", with relatively long legs. She has a medium build, although rather slim, as due to an active lifestyle she has remained in good shape and takes care of herself. She has a pale complexion, along with a slim and relatively smooth face, and at least so far she has aged gracefully. Thus, despite some creases beginning to form, she looks quite young for her age. Her hair is shoulder length, with gentle waves, and is a mid-brown with a reddish tint. She usually lets it fall loosely around her head. Her eyes are a deep green, with traces of brown. Generally, she wears dark jeans and a similar denim jacket, over a t-shirt in a similarly dark colour, along with walking shoes and occasionally a leather coat, although her outfit can vary, depending on where she is and what she's doing.
Equipment: A duel disk, in silver and olive green. A very small momentum drive makes the main body of the device small, and the card zones collapse, allowing it to be stowed in a large pocket or small bag. A duel runner to [url="http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091003222727/yugioh/images/thumb/4/4a/Test_Duel_Runner.jpg/150px-Test_Duel_Runner.jpg"]this[/url] design, in the same colours as her duel disk. She doesn't turbo duel much, so it's mostly for transportation.
Personality: Very inquisitive, perhaps too inquisitive for her own good. Social, but not overly friendly, at least not with new people. Usually very level-headed, and a quick-thinker - when she was younger, she was somewhat excitable, but this has faded as she matured. Self-confident, and certainly aware of her sexuality even if she doesn't flaunt it (much).

Bio: Even as a child, old stories fascinated Eirian. Especially those involving Duel Monsters. Tales of Yusei Fudo and the signers, or of Yugi Moto and Seto Kiaba at the dawn of duel monsters, or even further back, in the myths of distant lands such as Peru or Egypt, all of it seemed magical to her. It was no surprise, therefore, that she would study history at higher levels. Specialising in duel monsters and it's effects on human society, she made a name for herself in the field, and wrote some of the foremost biographies of the original signers, as well as furthering research into ancient myths with apparent links to the game. Her oddest finds, however, aren't so well known. The first is the set of Exceed Monsters known as the Numbers. Even Eirian isn't sure where she got them, and whilst she thinks they were in her office when she moved in she isn't certain. The other, more worrying, discovery was the one that gave a hint that the signers may return, and within her lifetime, and the existence of a new threat. Under the guise of academic research, she's now following up this information, starting with the winners of the last WRGP...

Appearance: He has long brown hair and green eyes. He looks extremely muscular. Usually wheres dark glasses so nobody can see his eyes. He has pale skin with a lot of scars on it. He has one right across his face. He wheres a Red Shirt and Black long Pants with a Black Jacket over it. He has a Silver Watch around his wrist.

Personality: He is extremely Relaxed when he is in a duel though he gets mad when he starts to lose. He sometimes loses his temper when things don't go his way. In duels he is always making strategy's in his head.

Bio: Jason was born into a rich family in Neo Domino City. They all had a lot of power over the city. When he was 10 every member of his family was killed except for him who made it out alive. He then took his parents duel runner and drove away. He went to his cousins and lived there. It was not long before there life was threatened to though. They were also murdered. Though his cousins gave him Blood Red Dragon before they died. He protected that card with his life. One day though the mark of the crimson dragon appeared on his arm.

Bio: He lived in the Satellite in a abandoned Apartment. He was once a member of a Gang in Satellite. He defeated some Duelist and took their decks. He quits the Gang and become a slacker. He then walk down the streets once again but he saw his old team. He dueled them in a 3-1 Duel. During the duel, He's arm then started glowing before he loses to them. He was a signer. He then continued dueling them and won after Summoning his Signer Dragon, Blue Lightning Dragon.

Appearance: Felix is a tall and pale figure with short oil colored hair. He is tanned, has a goatee and trimmed sideburns, and the center of his eyes (where his pupils are) completely white, with the exception of a very faint red border between his pupil and his green iris. He wears a black jacket (like the one from one of the characters in my avatar) zipped with blue jeans. This is when he is NOT dueling. When he duels, his clothing transmutates (in a computer like fashion) into a bleach white coat that resembles the coat of Lucciano from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds. Only when he is on this state does one realize that Felix is not human. The red lining in his eyes glows and shifts into a triangular like shape that the duelist can see clearly. It makes many wonder if he's really...human.

Personality: Felix looks like a very tranquil person, but that is only a vizard that hides his new personality. He is cruel and punishing, but in dueling and in the physical arts. He is patient, and when he plays his part he makes sure it is done with effectiveness.
Bio: He arrived seemingly from nowhere and his existence is almost a complete blur to the people whom have seen him around. All they did know about Felix was his name and that wherever he was seen, anywhere from 5 to 12+ duelists went missing. They also took in the notice of a very faint [i]humming[/i] sound coming from the man...but they always brushed that aside. Although several local police stations have been alerted by these strange incidents, many choose not to take the initiative to track him down as officers also disappeared when they chased the man. Only one person was ever found, and that person laid dead. It was for this very reason that they had named him, the [i]Angel of Death[/i].

Personality: Jester lives up to his name. He is comical, impulsive and will do nearly everything to make some one laugh. He will become serious in duels if stakes are on the line, but he prefers to entertain rather than duel. He wears a smile on his mask to hide his face, which has been horribly scared in an accident.

Gender: Female
Appearance: Miku is very small, at barely 4 feet tall, and having a thin frame. Her hair, which is sky blue, falls just past her shoulders, and frames her face, which is metal over the right eye and very pale, almost porcelain-looking, elsewhere. The one eye which is visible is the same colour as her hair. Her usual outfit is what seems to be a rather frilly black dress, along with a matching bonnet and boots. Her skin, like her face, is almost unnaturally pale by any standards, and unusually rigid and durable. Her left arm, however, is formed of what appears to be the same metal as covers where her right eye would be, and has a very obvious mechanical look. Her movements are, when she's calm, very stiff and artificial, leading to her not seeming real - although this isn't always the case.
Equipment: Her duel disk is a simple small oblong, which only seems to be present on her left arm when dueling, or shortly before or after it. Some of the lace on her dress seems to construct the card zones from an energy field when she duels. Although she's unable to use a duel runner, she has spherical 'wheels' in her feet, which allow her to turbo duel.
Personality: Miku might seem to be a sweek, quiet, if strange, girl, as long as she doesn't do or say anything. Once she does, however, it's clear that whatever planet she may be on, it isn't Earth. She seems to have little grip on reality, or at least the one she's in, and little regard for morals or ethics. She places no value on human life, and may not value anything. If she does show any discretion in what she does, it's likely to be for some reason not entirely connected to why she should be. She has a very child-like curiosity, which only makes things worse, as with nothing to restrain her she will satisfy her curiosity - regardless of the damage or death that may result.

Bio: Miku seems to have appeared out of a park where many children hung out. At first it was minor cuts and bruises, but soon children were being seriously injured, all in the same place, all talking about 'the creepy girl with the massive monster', but all with different injuries. When children started dying, or even vanishing, not being seen again (at least not alive), worried parents started looking for her. They fared little better, since even competent duelists amongst them couldn't best her, and were ending up in the same states as the children. This has been going on for a few weeks now - security is aware of her, but can't do much aside from advise people to stay away from that park, which has just caused her range to increase. Recent reports seem to indicate she has weapons, and has used them, although dueling still seems more common.

Duel Runner: Carmen's duel runner shows the night sky and is obviously pitch black with tiny bright dots. On the front of his duel runner is the moon, mirroring the phase of the moon. When Carmen peforms a Synchro Summon, the moon shines a bit, more so if it is an. Accel Synchro and considerably more if it is a delta accel synchro being peformed. The moon shines red if it is a double tuner synchro summon and it will glow gold if his signer dragon is being summoned. Also, on either side of the runner, the stars will create the constellation of any zodiac monster being summoned and will stay there until it is destroyed. The duel runner also allows Carmen to travel time and space. It is able to get up to abnormally high speeds.
Personality: Carmen is a secretive and mysterious person. He keeps to himself and keeps many secrets. He has vast knowledge of duel monsters and knowledge of time, however he is sworn to secrecy. Carmen will leave hints and riddles for both sides, helping time move along. He will not choose either side, but will stay neutral. He will not duel until needed.

Bio: Carmen was born in the future. Far into the future. Further even than the time the machine emperors first rose and the time of the last 4 humans. Cities had now been rebuilt and humans repopulated. Carmen was gifted. A genius and gifted. He built his dueling equipment from scratch and was an extremely skilled duelist. He also had abnormally high IQ and was extremely intelligent. He was then approached by a secret organization claiming that Carmen had a gift. They allowed him to join, a group of people who travel time and space to make sure everything flows in the way it should. On his first time into the space time stream a deck was created for him, a celestial deck created from black holes, supernovas, stardust, stars constellations, comets and such. He then returned after helping one of the largest events in history unfold, the defeat of ZONE. The neutral organization were awed Carmen had so much power and was so skilled, and was granted the place of leader. He then set off to a new event. The second wave of signers.

He eventually met Anitomy and Paradox and together they formed a new Team 5D's and in an amazing upset won the tournament making them the youngest champions since the first WRGP. Bio: Paradox was born with the Wing Birthmark of the Crimson Dragon but didn't know anything about it. He lived on the streets and had to use his wits to survive, one day he dueled a man named Antinomy and after the match he became friends with him and Aporia and together they formed a new Team 5D's and in an amazing upset won the tournament making them the youngest champions since the first WRGP. Later Antinomy received a package sent by his idol Yusei Fudo explaining the threat of the Machine Emperors and the events that had transpired in his time line, Antinomy realized that the strange events around town were connected to this message and how much danger his world was in, now with his two team mates the new Team 5D's has decided to find the remaining signers and stop the threat of total destruction.

Equipment: Rei can materialize anything she needs, from a Duel Disk to Duel Runner-like armor to weapons. She also has a seemingly infinite number of Meklords at her disposal, but they don't count.
Personality: Rei is a somewhat complex individual. On the surface, she seems very cheerful, jovial, and polite, but she is actually just using this as a facade. Below this sweet image is a cold, calculating, merciless computer program who is very, VERY good at managing quadrillions of robots and a gigantic machine with the interior surface area of three million Earths. Or at least, that's the second layer. Her true colors are underneath that, revealing a woman capable of expressing all sorts of emotions and mainly feeling like she is stuck in a somewhat thankless job of (effectively) playing God, and she wishes she could devote even the smallest iota of her attention towards having a social life. So, to recap: Rei is a cute moe girl who is really a heartless b***h who is really just lonely.

Bio: Rei Tousen, a Quantum Artificial Intelligence (QAI), is the controller of a giant Ringworld in a pocket dimension close to the Duel Monsters multiverse. This Ringworld is the original birthplace of the Meklords, and is said to hold an incredible power guarded by Protsu, the primary goddess of all of the Ringworld's religions and Rei's boss. While Protsu shapes the reality around the Ringworld at her whim and fondly regards creation, Rei manages the day-to-day affairs of keeping the massive superhabitat running, and uses modified Meklords to accomplish anything from mining for replacement metals to inspecting all of the various systems that keep the megastructure operational to preventing any civilization from expanding beyond a certain point. One of Rei's side jobs is to occasionally contain any Meklord chronophage outbreaks that get to be too much for the neighboring multiverse, and this is The Professor's Plan B: have Rei invade the current timeline with a vast fleet of her Ringworld-born-and-bred Meklords to capture and contain the encroaching rogue Meklords. Rei dislikes this task immensely, and would rather have those Meklords dredging the bottoms of the Ringworld's oceans than gallivanting through time and space. She will be monitoring The Professor's insane little plan and will have a containment fleet on standby in case anything goes wrong.
Deck Type: [color="#FF00FF"]Meklord[/color] Deck: Uses contemporary, RL Meklords instead of the versions used in this RP, but mainly focuses on minor Meklords, like the Meklord Armies and Ringworld Meklords. However, she has a card that allows her to hack one of the opponent's Mechlords and turn them into a RL counterpart. Personality: Nova has a ruthless pesornality. He never has any time for weaker people. If someone loses to him, he will smash them off the road. He has a slighter kinder personality when he is in a good mood, and may offer advice to his enemys. If anyone annoys him, however, he will duel them, and take their deck when they lose. When he is at his darkest, he has been known to kill people who even speak over him.
Bio: Nova's past is a bit of a mystery. His Father was never known, and his mother died when he was 12, because of a doctor giving her the wrong medicine. This may explain his hatred towards humanity. When the End of Humanity came, the Machine Emporers were not kind to him. He was forced to sleep in the sewers, and drink from the sewer water. When a Grannel came through the sewers, Nova had nowhere to run. He was killed. 10 Years later, he awoke in a test tube, with the Infinity mark over his eye. His hatred towards humanity stronger than ever.

Duel Runner: Carmen's duel runner shows the night sky and is obviously pitch black with tiny bright dots. On the front of his duel runner is the moon, mirroring the phase of the moon. When Carmen peforms a Synchro Summon, the moon shines a bit, more so if it is an. Accel Synchro and considerably more if it is a delta accel synchro being peformed. The moon shines red if it is a double tuner synchro summon and it will glow gold if his signer dragon is being summoned. Also, on either side of the runner, the stars will create the constellation of any zodiac monster being summoned and will stay there until it is destroyed. The duel runner also allows Carmen to travel time and space. It is able to get up to abnormally high speeds.
Personality: Carmen is a secretive and mysterious person. He keeps to himself and keeps many secrets. He has vast knowledge of duel monsters and knowledge of time, however he is sworn to secrecy. Carmen will leave hints and riddles for both sides, helping time move along. He will not choose either side, but will stay neutral. He will not duel until needed.

Bio: Carmen was born in the future. Far into the future. Further even than the time the machine emperors first rose and the time of the last 4 humans. Cities had now been rebuilt and humans repopulated. Carmen was gifted. A genius and gifted. He built his dueling equipment from scratch and was an extremely skilled duelist. He also had abnormally high IQ and was extremely intelligent. He was then approached by a secret organization claiming that Carmen had a gift. They allowed him to join, a group of people who travel time and space to make sure everything flows in the way it should. On his first time into the space time stream a deck was created for him, a celestial deck created from black holes, supernovas, stardust, stars constellations, comets and such. He then returned after helping one of the largest events in history unfold, the defeat of ZONE. The neutral organization were awed Carmen had so much power and was so skilled, and was granted the place of leader. He then set off to a new event. The second wave of signers.

Duel Runner: Achilles duel runner's base colour is pure white. Then, pure golden strips streak across it, starting from a single point at the front and stretching out. This is the same on both sides. The front glass pane is tinted blue. The runner is capable of reaching extremely fast speeds, and creating slip streams with ease.
Personality: [color="#000080"]Achilles[/color] is friendly and energetic. He makes friends easily he's easy to like. Achilles trusts and respects his friends but will also do anything to help or protect them. He cares more about his friends than he does himself.
Side: Signer, Tail
Bio: Achilles was born into a rich family, and grew up rich. He lived in a massive block of flats. He and his parents lived there but no one else except Achilles' butler and closest friend. As a young boy, Achilles loved to duel and became a confident duelist. He would duel anyone, any time. He used a Vylon deck, without knowing why, it just felt right.
As a young teenager he began turbo dueling and became extremely skilled, being able to peform accel and delta accel synchro. He met Paradox, Antinomy and Aporia after the WRGP and befriended them quickly. These were three more of his closest friends.Achilles was born with the tail of the crimson dragon already marked into him, and it began to glow when Antinomy received the message from Yusei. Antinomy told Achilles and he was ready for the fight. Achilles now fights alongside the signers in the war against the Machine Emperors.

Personality: The Professor is enigmatic and mysterious, as well as a bit eccentric. However, he is very determined to stop those who dare pollute this world with the Synchro Destroyers once more. He is very cunning, and will play up his old, feeble body as something to be exploited to lure in his quarry.

Bio: The Professor is a mysterious participant of the current events. He is apparently part of a group in pursuit of the six who have Meklords. He is also very interested in Aporia, Paradox, and Antimony. He, however, will not reveal what is going on outside of their own universe, where it seems that things are occuring on a much greater scale.
