Personality: Funny and cheery, he always knows how to make people laugh. He's loyal and trustworthy, but he has a short temper and will not hesitate to hit you in the face if you piss him off. When he fights, he is only half-focused, and that's usually enough for a man of his power. When he needs to, though, he will put all of his attention into fighting, often forgetting other people around him. He prefers the rapier as a weapon because he is quick and agile and likes the maneuverability of a rapier, and it suits him well.

--Slashing Fury: quick attack that sends cutting waves of energy from swinging sword
--Infinity Barrier: shield emits a temporary field that block all attacks
--Concussion Shield: physical attacks that come in contact with the shield are blown back violently
--Eternal Raging Firestorm: creates a surrounding field of fire that shoots all around in huge flares and causes massive damage. burns energy fast

Bio

Ever since he was inducted into the academy he was top of his class, despite humble beginnings. Homeless, parentless, at the age of 7, he spent 6 years on the streets, dodging law enforcement and living off scraps for the first months. Then he got better at stealing. He was able to steal large chunks of meat unnoticed. Then as he got older and bigger he got more noticeable, but with his size came his strength, and he was able to defend himself from anyone that happened to catch him. On the day of his thirteenth birthday, though, he discovered he had a unique gift. He was trapped in an alley on both sides by guards from the Order. He had stolen a rather large chunk of lamb meat and they had every intention of getting it back. The alley was very narrow so there was no ducking out of it. They had huge swords and lances. When they closed in on him, he realized they were a lot taller and clearly stronger than he was. And half-armored. He had no options left, so he mustered up all his strength and threw the first punch at the nearest guard. When his fist came in contact with the armor, he saw a spark from his hand then a huge flash of light emit from it. The next thing he saw was the guard flying backwards a good 20 feet, arcs of blue lightning in the gap between them. The other guards stopped dead in their tracks and backed away at least 5 paces before looking over at the guard he hit. They talked amongst themselves for a moment as Lazarus backed away slowly. Before he could run, one of them looked up and told him they forgave him for stealing, and offered him a chance to join the Order. He was cautious at first, but they brought him to the High Council and told them of the incident. The council talked amongst themselves for a moment. They told him how impressed they were and offered him a spot in the Dragonrider Academy. They said he had the brains and brawn of a promising rider, even though he was thirteen years old. They also told him the bolt of lightning he conjured was the work of dragon magic, and so he had a connection with the dragons in some way. He accepted, and immediately was thrown into training. Learning how to master the powers he had was difficult enough without the physical exhaustion of every ounce of will to ride the trainer dragons. Bobbing, weaving, swerving, ducking, rapid altitude climb, all while having to hang on the whole time. But he caught on fast. Soon he was making the dragons do tricks. And the instructors too once he got down the magic stuff. After that he flew up the ranks as fast as the dragons did the air. One year after he joined, he received his dragon. The dragon he would ride with as long as he lived and served in the Order. It was a silver dragon. They told him he doesn’t get to name it. It would tell him what its name was. And it did. It was a male dragon. He could tell because the voice in his head that came from the dragon was male, and he told him his name was Sandaro. They rode every day after that. In 4 years Lazarus accomplished what no one his age has ever accomplished, the rank of Dragon Arcane. At 18, he was the youngest arcane in history. Throughout his remaining years at the academy and in working on the force, weapons given to him consisted of a sword and shield. He longed for freedom again, and that seemed possible now more than ever. So he retired from the Order to become a Freelancer. Upon retirement, he was given a white/gold/blue color-themed set, consisting of a longcoat, boots, gauntlets, a rapier, a Swiss-escutcheon shield, and a spellbook. For the next two years Lazarus trained on his own and with Sandaro. They had an indescribable amount of fun setting records for themselves. He’s one of the most powerful dragons Lazarus ever met. Now, at 20, he travels the world once again, looking for the next adventure, the next bad guy to dice up with swords or roast up with fire. When he heard the Order was planning to overthrow his homeland’s dynasty, he immediately returned to find that nothing had happened yet, but found out about the Freedom Fighters and decided to would join them as a commander. They are waiting patiently and planning their defenses against this “New Order.”

Powers and Skills

Mana Break: Due to the result of the curse, anything that he touches,
starts to lose mana; the mana thus lost is stored inside the anti-mage.
Blink: More like Shunpo
Mana Channel: Merlin is able to form a network of mana strings. if the network
has enemies included in it, the anti-mage keeps drawing out mana from the
target contineusly, while if the network has allies in it, they can use the mana
from the soul of the anti-mage. The anti-mage is unable to move around, within the
network area, but isn't able to fight.
Mana Void : if the target is missing out on the mana stores, the antimage
will cast a void spell, which causes the target to lose HP equivalent
to the amount of mana missing.
Purge: Slows down a target immensely, also any spells that has been cast on the target
is banished. Can be used on allies also, thus freeing him of all the ill effects of the
spell.
Curse Activation :
Flight: the anti-mage develops 2 wings that allows him to take flight.
Nise Shiryoku : False Sight, everytime the Anti-mage lands a hit, due to the poison
already in his blade, the opponent sees a 2 of the same. these clones seems to attack
the target, and the target takes double damage on each strike.
Soul Exchange : when the Hp of the anti-mage is below 15%, he can exchange his soul for the
soul of the target. The anti-mage thus gain HP equivalent to the target, while the target
recives the anti-mage's HP. Channelling spell, needs 1 sec for casting.
Wall of the Eye-less : for every target that the anti-mage has killed in his activated state,
he gains +1 armour permanently.

Personality: Not much is known of the anti-mage, who was previosly called Owain Merlin, the prankster in the Magic Academy. He was always jolly, with a grin in his face, obviously planning to make the next victim miserable. In case where there were any trouble, whether be friends or not, he will be there to assist that person in need. and in doing so, he is willing to risk his life.He is very eager to learn more about magic, and is humble in front of other magicians.

Bio: Owain is the youngest son of the legendary Merlin branch of his tribe. His father was the high council, and one of the most feared men in the world today. He is on the human council, and his advice is asked of when ever there is a situation.

Owain, during the process of choosing his school of magic, did not return anything. the other students present in the ceremony, made fun of him saying the long ear bunny is nothing. Angered by the embarrassment, he hit one of his seniors, who was known for his capability with fire magic. just by the punch, the elder guy lost his mana store, that was not as high, considering his age; This managed to catch the attention of the other tutors, one of whom wanted to inspect him in person.
Another 3 hours later, Owain was at the seniors room with an apology, for hitting him. Owain also, informed him that there was going to be some urgent announcement made by the High Mage himself. "hopefully they have decided to kick you out" sneered his senior.

at the room of enlightenment, the main hall in the school of magic, the grand mage thus declared, it was exactly 431 years ago that a formidable oponent breathed his last near a jungle not very far from here. the conqueror was none other than the High Elf, who also happens to be the father of one of our very own students.

Now all of you must know that the opponent i speak of was called Eoghan Kay, the master of nothingness. his mastery was the fact that his opponents couldn't cast their spells, while in close proximity to Eoghan.I have no shame to admit that I, myself, have been beaten quite convincingly by the person in discusion here. Well, this is called Void Magic. It is a rare occurance, for a person to be borne with this strange power, but here I present to you the young Owain Merlin.

Pretty much from exactly the same point in time, most of the school was afraid and disgusted of his presence; except some
4-5 people who were his room mates. Even some of the teachers' carried a face of irritation with Owain around them.
Some 3 years after this, when Owain, had just acquired his first rank in the Imperial Army as a minor caster, there
was an incident with an escaped Orkish Shaman, called Korlic. the students and a professor were going through some minor
casting practices, when Korlic was smelt magic and ambushed these people. of the 28 people in the group, 4 managed to
get through the evil soul. Owain was very badly injured as Korlic, landed his final bite into the shoulder of the young one.
In the process, the Owain was hailed as a hero, who had fought hard to kill the beast. After almost 3 days in slumber,
when Owain awoke, not many people were around to greet him. his father was there, and so was one of his professors. His father just said, "so you are awake now ! and left the room."

Confused as to where he was and what had happened to him, his professor described that when Korlic was killed, and landed
his last bite, he might have landed a curse on to you. The elder mages knows this and are discussing whether you are
a danger to the society or not.

That same night, with the discision of expulsion almost finallized, Owain ran. Surprisingly, it was the Grand Master who
had given him his gift, the sword of Korlic, the Djinn Slayer. "This is a very powerfull weapon my boy, if you were lulled
into evil just for the sake to getting more power, I will know where to find you. I will come only once and let you know,
that the path you follow is wrong or right. After that its all up to you.and please do not be another Eighan, of the Yew. "

@Murar the high council exists only within the nation of Calumon. If you or your ancestors do not hold nationality with Calumon, then you are not on the high council. unless you were talking about Lucrain's high council. and do elaborate on your arsenal. some of us dont know what a bloodmoon or shunpo is.

and i apologize now for not including a map of the nations. i cannot upload one right now so i will describe it in the greatest detail possible.

i'd actually prefer you keep it localized with nationality. nearby nations are Littimar, Drex, Macadia, and Sytharia. Lucrain is pushing it but it's only about 100 miles by water. and because this RP doesn't really require it, i'm not going to specify government for each nation. for now, theyre all the same as Calumon, with the exception of the special forces. Those change for each nation. And the only reason you would be from a different nation is if you came to help the Freedom Fighters or you emigrated from your homeland to live here. or both.
