A mighty city that had once been infested with crime and anarchy. That was until they arrived. The Guardians, they called themselves, cleaning up the town and ridding of most evil. They were made of the governmet created explosive powerhouse, Gal Storm, the armored, long range arrowman known as Dart Fighter, and the hand to hand combat master known only as Luminous Tracer. They fought evil for 30 long and great years. Then the incident happened. It was unkown exactly how it occured, but it did. The Gaurdians had fallen. This made all hell brake loose in Jaysid City. Crime returned in the form of numerous gangs and mobs. Those who had chosen to use their powers for evil could finally use them with little to no interferiance. The police were struggling to get order back. It was, and still is, total chaos. The year is 2026. The Gaurdians died 5 years ago. Multiple superheroes are trying to fill the gap that was made in Jaysid City, while super villains and orginized crime is going wild with the police. You, are caught in the middle of all of this. This all changed when he and his father went to see his grandfather. Jade went up into the attic since his dad, who was in a wheelchair, could not. Up there he discovered a ring. It was strange, mezmerizing to say the least. He put it on and all of a sudden a spirit appeared in front of him. It addressed itself as The Spirit of The Raven. It informed him that his grandfather had hidden this family airlum from his father because he did not think his son was worthy enough. Jade was then given a choice. Become the next Raven, a protector of people, or let his family's bad luck move foward for generations to come. Thinking that he could help change the world into a better place, he accepted. With the help of some friends and his grandfather, Jade became The Raven, a rumor, only spread through tabloids. [spoiler=My app] Name: Shiro, the Day Boy / Kuro, the Night Girl Age: Physically 10, true age unknown Gender: Male / Female Faction: Superhero Bio: Shiro and Kuro are actually one entity. While they indeed do pass as human, they are actually nonhuman beings from the Omniverse Core, known as Solunas. Like the rest of their kind, they were born as human Siamese twins whose bodies were fused into one via magic. Despite this, they were able to lead a normal life, Shiro was, at least. Kuro, on the other hand, was very abnormal, and used to be a renegade of the night, playing pranks and scaring little children. they graduated from X-Over Academy, then via a portal, they decided to settle here. This dimension. Appearance: Shiro has the appearance of an average 10-year old. His eyes are golden like the sun, although they have a minor tint of green, hinting that he is capable of photosynthesis. His hair is a purely unpigmented white. He wears a clean, white hoodie with plain white jeans. Kuro is a fair-skinned young lady with the sinister red eyes and razor-sharp teeth of a demon. She wears a black, low-cut gown which matches the patterns of darkness. Her long, dark hair is in synch with the night. Personality: Shiro is a kind soul who believes in helping others and not expecting anything in return. At times, he doesn't treat villians too harshly, and tries not to kill them. Kuro, on the other hand, kills villians for the sake of killing. She is cynical and believes that torture is great. Its can enhance itself into an Excalibur under bright sunlight, like in the afternoon. [b]Night Daggers[/b] - A mystical pair of daggers wielded by Kuro. It too, is bestowed with odd magic that boosts her umbrakinetic capabilities. If there is extreme darkness, it will morph into a buzzsaw. [b]Twilight Racer[b] - A vehicle driven by the duo. She can even teleport through dshadows and disperse herself with the dark. [b]Absurb Night Vision(As Kuro)[/b] - Kuro can see the night almost like how we see the day. Costume Appearance:(Description or Pic) Weaknesses: Due to their build, they are rather weak to heavy blows. While they have magic flowing in their blood, they cannot exactly manipulate it. Final Fantasy Revolution Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 This is a mob boss character, but has a power as well that he uses for money Name: Don Krieger Age: 221 Gender: Male Fraction: Crime *Mob Boss* Bio: Don Krieger is an infamous mob boss who runs the Empowered Tower; a hotel that also serves as his base. When these powers started to develop in everyone, Don Krieger decided to use his to cash in and has been operating in secrecy even during the enforcement of the two legendary super heroes. Don has a lot of money, made even for plentiful from his activities, and has many of regular thugs and Empowered thugs at his disposal as well. As soon as the world started to plummet back into darkness, Don Krieger started to become more public and was eventually recognized as one of the most devious mob bosses. In the end he is greedy and selfish and only cares for himself. Arsenal: -Multiple regular henchmen -three Empowered henchmen -Weaponized dragon cane; small flamethrower within dragon cane's mouth, cane can be drawn to reveal as sword, and bottom of cane launches five poison tipped needles. -Master swordsman. ----------------------------------------------------------- Alias: None Superpowers: Life Transferal *can take years from someones life and add them to his own, or give years to another, this is how he makes his money; by selling years to desperate people* However, no one knows that he has this power. How did you get your superpowers?: Don Krieger was just a regular low-life crook before all this happened; while running from the police he was almost hit by a biomedical waste truck but it swerved and crashed. It spilled it's container of waste all over Don, sending him straight into intensive care. Upon waking up, Don found that he could steal the years of life from people or give them away; he found out by inadvertently killing a nurse with old age, than reviving her by making her young again. Costume Appearance: None Personality: None Weaknesses: He is still quite vulnerable to...well everything from a bullet to a punch in the face; however, it has been noticed that he has to establish physical contact with anyone to steal or give years. [spoiler=Kyle Walker] Name: Kyle Walker Age: 27 Gender: Male Fraction: Superhero/Super villain crime Lord) [spoiler=Bio] Kyle's family is well off, owners of a global information system and computer software and technology mega-business. They also represent Cecas'lo'ri, ancient spirits and agents of chaos; one of many who exist to ensure life continues without falling prey to complacency and dying out as a result. As such, the Wagner family has long since been involved in shadier and seedier aspects of city life. They moved to Jaysid long before it rose to it's current prominence and has a long history of playing for both sides of the battlefield. A lot of the villains, and heroes as well, that came to the city, were a result of his family's string pulling and checkbook waving. Kyle is the next heir, and he intends to push the chaotic mix a bit more. Kyle has founded a few smaller branch co-operations under his family name, and has set himself up as something of a prodigy in the business world. On the other hand, he has established a Family within the Jaysid underworld, one that is rapidly gaining power in notoriety. The Morpheus Family, or Nightmares as they are also known, have tries mostly to protections rackets, theft, information, blackmail, smuggling, hits and extortion, and are somehow noble for a group of criminals, a throw back to the old days. As the shadowy leader, John Doe, he is slowly taking control of some of the financial and industrial districts, as well as a bit of the slums. One a side note, he hates drugs and those caught selling in his territory… the less said the better. He has devised his own style of fighting through years of training, but does not let that link him together too much. For instance; as Kyle, heir of the Wlker fortune, he uses judo and kendo. As Black Cat, he uses a gun kata based on Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Parkour, some club fighting and Capoeira while John uses Muay Thai, Kung Fu and various weapon arts. He is also an over achiever, (with nine lives worth of energy to burn at a time, what do you expect him to do?) and somehow found time to earn a degree in business, computer science and urban studies. He got to where he is through intense greed and ruthlessness, and he stays where he is with subtle use of power. He comes across as sarcastic, vague, yet a people person and concerned about others. He likes to flaunt his money, but actually has a good amount stored away for emergencies. He can briefly focus one or more of his extra lives to improve his physical abilities momentarily. -Dream aura: a side effect of his powers, when in costume, people find they can't remember what his face looks like, eliminating the need for a mask -Lucid Dream- he is able to make daydreams so vivid they can manifest in reality. He has three aspects to that ability. ==Dream crafting: Something of a lucid dream, he is able to make dreams vivid enough that they become real constructs. Two of his guns fires dream bullets normally (though he does have real ones in the others), which can affect the world, but doesn't cause physical harm to the body (the subconscious recognizes enough to see it isn't real, but the conscious mind thinks is real enough for a few hours and still causes pain and bruising.) His costume is also a dream craft. ==Dreamscape: he can do some telepathy through projected dreams and even a form of mental illusion, but the latter takes too much delicate work and time for his liking, and only uses it for interrogations as John Doe. ==Avatar- mostly used by John Doe, it is a projection of his, or a target's, psyche. Long story. Costume Appearance: He wears what appears to be a black suit over a silver grey shirt. He complements it with a dress-shoe looking boot and a black fedora. Both this suit and his John Doe getup is made from a fabric woven from synthetic spider silk, carbon nanotubes and kelvar. It has thin but strong hidden and built in body armour over the torso, groin and torso. Personality: Black Cat is more of an anti-hero. He values life, but some more than others, he wishes to protect people, as long as he can benefit somehow, and he is willing to work with almost anyone, as long as he can use them. He's a good guy, just… not [i]that[/i] good. He is typically prepared for anything, and does not hesitate to use pain where kindness and mercy didn't work the first time. He's favourite quote is something a sage once said; 'you can get more with a nice word and bullet, than just a nice word alone.' Weaknesses: He may be super human, but he is still human. Yes, his injuries can be healed faster, but he still does get injured since his resilience is only so much (which is why he learned martial arts.) He is mostly immune to psychic probing (you call it stubborn, he calls it strong will), but he can (and often does) suffer backlash, particularly when an avatar is destroyed violently, causing a headache. His Dreamscape can also be turned against him, as the Dream crafting is a form of the lucid dream, those with a strong will within his dreamscape can make use it to a limited extent (it takes training and a certain mind set to make your thoughts concrete and focused enough). He likes to be the subverted cliché and loves banter. He typically has about four plans going at the same time but is always willing to make time in his busy schedule to face off with a hero of two. Despite being more talkative than a parrot on cocaine, is secretive and has so many information protection measures in place it hurts to think about them. Yet, his minions still love him. Scientists from some government controlled lab had abducted her when she was 18 and attempted to figure out how to artificially create her Life Force. One fateful day, one year later, a freak accident involving a drum of chemicals exploding, killing most of the scientists in the room with her. Seeing as Silas could have other powers, as she could fly, The rest of the Scientists allowed her to leave the lab. As she was on her way home, She found an idea of how to use her powers. With that, She went to rob the bank downtown. Police had caught up to her during the robbery and opened fire with their pistols as she was reported "Armed and Dangerous". She Miraculously survived 32 shots all over her body with 3 grazings on the head. Silas woke up in the hospital the next day and found that where the gunshot wounds were, Black and Red Plates had grown there, much to her disappointment. She was met by a fateful stranger who knew of her new powers and had helped her learn how to control them minutes later. Several days later, She was released from the hospital and went into hiding to train up her powers...[/spoiler] [spoiler=Appearance:]She is 6' even, and has short Black Hair, Red eyes and pale-white skin, She has a somewhat Busty build and wears a gray, Nylon Jumpsuit that covers her entire body, including her neck and face, However, her jumpsuit does not cover her hair. Her Jumpsuit is actually very breathable and does not obstruct her breathing and her Superfine eyesight, She has 35 black and red plates with a hexagonal pattern located all over her body, including many in the arms, a set of very solid plates covering her legs, Quite a few in the chest, and a few small ones on the side and back of her head[/spoiler] [b]Alias:[/b] That Unidentified Magic Jet (Sometimes Referenced as an Unidentified Flying Object due to her Kidnapping) [spoiler=Superpowers:] [i]Mystical Life Force: [/i]She has a certain type of Life force in her body that makes her a lot more resilient than normal people, In addition, This also allows her to pick up, see, hear, and smell a lot more than the average Joe. When this power got amplified, It also Derailed her aging, allowing her to Remain Eternally Youthful even if outside sources draw age away from her. [i]Flight:[/i] Her Mystical Life force allows her to fly, but it always wasn't like that [i]Plate Manipulation: [/i]The 35 Black and Red Plates on her body are actually living beings that she can Manipulate, She can Manipulate them to cover her body entirely as well as make some Fanciful shapes, Lucky for her, These plates Regenerate as well. [i]Laser Light Manipulation:[/i] She can force the Red portion of her plates to fire Lasers out of them. In addition to this, She can bend the lasers coming out of them into up to a 90 Degree Angle... [/spoiler] [spoiler=How did you get your superpowers?:] [i]Mystical Life Force:[/i] She was Born with it [i]Flight:[/i] A Lab accident involving a drum of Chemicals somehow amplified her Life Force and gave her Flight as well [i]Plate Manipulation and Laser Light Manipulation:[/i] On her way home from the Lab, Still Disoriented from the Earlier accident, She saw an opportunity to use her new-found flying and her Life Force Abilities. She decided to rob a bank, but the Police were 2 steps ahead of her and gunned her down at first sight. Miraculously, She survived, but these gunshot wounds and grazing Reacted with the Chemicals that reacted with her Life force, Forming these plates.[/spoiler] [b]Personality:[/b] Silas is a somewhat smart, as well as very cold and calculating. She has a habit of kidnapping random people (Especially Females and girls) then setting them down somewhere else within the city. Outside of those abductions, she is very shy and only prefers to do what the heck she wants [spoiler=Weaknesses:] 1.) Her plates can only regenerate so fast, So destroying the plates faster than they can Regenerate can give her problems[i]. [i]Do not use guns to destroy the plates, They will actually regenerate almost instantly if you try to do so[/i][/i] 2.) If an attack hits her body, rather than the plates, She can still be injured just like a normal person. [i]Make Sure your gunshots are Fatal if you plan on using them, Non-Lethal Gunshot wounds cause more plates to grow on her[/i] 3.) She cannot hide her plates, so she must remain in hiding 4.) Her plates respond to her mind, Jack her mind and you Jack her plates too. When he was 23, Nathan suggested starting a trade route to Boston, something which his father agreed to on the proviso that Nathaniel be the one to supervise the first journey. During the journey, Nathaniel fell ill and the ship came under pressure from a massive storm. During this storm, the ships doctor noticed Nathaniel had begun to glow. It was the first time that Nathan had shown any sign of powers, as such he wasn't able to control his powers. The ship sank a few miles from its destination. When Nathaniel's family discovered what had happened, they believed that the ship had been taken by the storm. In truth Nathan's powers had manifested explosively, destroying the ship and killing everyone on board. Nathan wasn't heard of again until he resurfaced in Jaysid city after the fall of the guardians.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Appearance:]Nathan is a tall, muscular young man. He has long messy blonde hair, and bright blue eyes with completley blemish free, fair skin. He wears a black polo shirt and a pair of bleached jeans. He also wears a pair of black boots and a long brown leather coat, all of his clothing has been stolen from one place or another. He has no markings anywhere on his body, due to his power removing them from his body and his eyes have an unearthly glow to them, they actually shine in the dark.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality:]When Nathan was young he was fun loving, caring and quite kind, but after his supposed death in the shipwreck he changed. He was treated like a god by some people and became quite power hungry. Eventually the people became afraid of him and sent him away. He was then discovered by a group of travellers, when he tried to show his powers to them, they were terrified. He has been growing more cynical ever since. When his family didn’t come looking for him, he believed that they had forgotten about him. This combined with the fact that he wasn’t able to associate with people or have much, if any human contact, have turned him into a very hateful person. All that is known is it manifested on his trip to America. Costume Appearance: Nathan doesn't wear a costume. He just wears his normal clothing Personality: Same as his normal personality. [spoiler=Weaknesses:]He doesn’t have any specific weaknesses, but anything that could stop a normal person has a likelihood of affecting him. Over use of his powers can severely weaken him physically to the point where he can lose conciusness, teleportation especially so.
