EVA-K
If anyone remembers the old arcade games of yesteryear, there should be one game in particular that stands out - Gradius. This old classic had helped introduced the power up system that would be carried over into other later Konami Shooters, like Twinbee and Xexex, and even inspiring a few other games, like R-Type. Naturally, I was rather giddy they introduced the B.E.S. monsters into Yugioh... except for one thing - they are vastly underwhelming compared to the bosses that gave me fits when I played them as a child. So one day, I thought... 'I could do better than this.' These are the results. I present to you folks, the main antagonists of the Evil Viral Antagonists set, the Bacterian Armada! Taking inspiration from many a Gradius-related series, this new batch of warships will ensure your opponent will remember WHY the 80's will be remembered as the hardest age of gaming. The Contents of the Evil Viral Antagonists mini-booster pack. If your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Summoned; target 1 other "B.A." monster you control: place 1 counter/Core Counter on that monster, as long as it would not exceed the max allowed. Common When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 1 counter (max) on this card. If this card is destroyed by battle, or would leave the field by a card effect (including being sent to the deck), remove one counter from this card instead. If this card battles without a counter; destroy this card at the end of the Damage step. If this card does not have a counter, double this card's original attack. Common When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: target 1 B.A. monster in your grave; equip it to this card. If this card is destroyed by battle, or would leave the field by a card effect (including being sent to the deck), destroy the equipped card instead. This card gains half the ATK of the equipped monster equipped by this card's effect. Common Once per turn: target up to 3 "B.A." monsters in your graveyard; shuffle those targets into your deck, then draw 1 card. Common When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 3 (max) counters on this card. If this card would be destroyed (by battle or by a card effect), remove one counter from this card instead. If this card battles without a counter; destroy this card at the end of the Damage step. Once per turn, during your Main Phase: remove one counter from this card; change a monster's battle position. If that monster was flipped face up, any effects it has do not activate at that time. Rare When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 3 (max) counters on this card. If this card would be destroyed by battle, or would leave the field by a card effect (including being sent to the deck), remove one counter from this card instead. If this card battles without a counter; destroy this card at the end of the Damage step. Discard this card to the Graveyard; add one "Bacterian Fortress" from your Deck to your hand. Rare When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 3 (max) counters on this card. If this card would be destroyed (by battle or by a card effect), remove one counter from this card instead. If this card battles without a counter; destroy this card at the end of the Damage step. Once per turn, during your Main Phase: remove one counter from this card; destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field. Super When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 5 Core Counters (max) on this card. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Super When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 3 counters (max) on this card. Super When Normal Summoned or Special Summoned via "Bacterian Fortress"' effect: place 5 Core Counters (max) on this card. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. EVA-K
Lightning sword is a little too overpowered but still good... 9.6/10
Care to explain how it is overpowered? It isn't like it could wipe out all your spells and traps ala Raigeki or Feather Duster, but still...

L0SS
I think the cards as a whole are great, but I do agree that lightning sword is overpowered. For instance, when using Bacterian Fortress's last effect, you can basically just get a Deltatry on the field and due to it's fairly high attack you will consequently end up with a token on the field. I think you need a higher cost for it's effect, maybe two tokens would be better, as it wouldn't equate to just: Summon- Attack- BOOM! Nuked. Hopefully that makes sense, as I feel that making the cost two tokens gives your opponent time to react and should balance out. As I said, I like the theme overall though. EVA-K
Hello, folks. Long time no see. I have edited my cards to match the next text format better, and added a few restrictions to weaken a few cards. Feel free to comment on the newer versions. Happy Holidays. -EVA-K
